What happens if someone gets reported?

people get reported- thats step one. then the f4 look at the activity and see if there is a valid reason to ban the user. maybe they just contact them asking aboot certain things (if there was fighting)or clarify site terms (people are too young/post offensive content etc.)
if there is enough evidence they might ban them temporarily or forever ( thats normally if people dont change their ways).

the only accounts that usually get deleted completely withoot further questions are obvious spammers who advertise or post links to zango/survey sites.

its a pretty delicate process and unlike suggested the accounts dont just get suspended immediately.its up to the f4 to decide so the process might not always seem fair but..they are the bosses so they get to decide.

If a user is reported the Fanpop Moderators will take a look at it, if they decide that the report is justified they will give the user a ban, the ban can vary in length from 24 hours to a lifetime ban, it depends on what the user has done. If the report is not justified (if it was by accident, or by someone who just didn't like them and wanted them to be banned even if they've done nothing wrong), then they will just leave it and the user can keep on 'poppin.
