Fanpop Question

What exactly makes a pending club become an official club?

I know that a club has to have an icon and banner first, and that it needs to have a certain amount of content and fans/members first. Are there any other requirements? Is the exact number of fans and contributions known, or does it differ from club to club, or at different times? Does it matter whether the contributions are of different types - images, videos, articles etc?

I also wonder that myself sometimes. I think it’s not that much related to the number of fans. For instance, the Anya Taylor-Joy club recently turned into an “official” club and it only has 25 fans. It’s probably more related to contributions, more specifically how often they are added and how popular they are. I think clubs that generate views regularly have more chances to turn into official clubs. But of course those are just speculations. Not sure if everyone has ever solved the pending club mystery.
