How do I comment on a quiz question without answering it?

How do people comment on quiz questions without answering them? Putting #comments at the end doesn't work.

When you go to comment on a quiz question you see the correct answer for that question. I'm sure the reason you can't do that is so people don't cheat.

In the recent quizzes section there are sometimes questions that say underneath "No one has answered this question yet" and have one comment.
