How did you come to join Fanpop?

Lol, I knew about Fanpop too before I joined. In fact, I only joined two months later. Fanpop had been my favorite site since then, but I never had the heart to join. It's amazing that Fanpop is now almost the only site I go to. I never go to any other club sites, not even Facebook! Yes, I googled stuff too. I know it's crazy, but I googled about Disney Princesses, lol. Anyway, I joined recently in July and it's been great. There are so many friendly people here and all... Yeah, you heard my story. Did you like it :) ?

at 1st i ever heard of this site wen i was in a agame.com my friend kanica (kni2000) asked me tht do i hav a account here nd i said no.. aftr few days i came here trying to mke a account and thn i saw tht we hve to 13 yrs to mke a account here so i thought wen i'll be 13 i'll come here again but i was so excited to check out this site so i mde an account on march 2013 but i was offline like 2 months then i was online everyday so thts it :P

I came upon it the same way. Generally seeking images on Google, I found Fanpop time and time again. One time I just stopped and really 'snooped' around at what was going on, on this site and I liked what I saw. Both in the content people were submitting and seeing the opinions being expressed by other on things I too was interested in. I haven't been here that long compared to others but thus far I'm glad I took the time to look and join.

In 2010 I had a crush on a fictional character from Pokémon, Commander Saturn. This was also the year I realized that there was an internet. I searched his name in Google and one of the first results was his Fanpop club.
I thought it was so freaking cool that Fanpop had clubs where everyone could get together and share the things they had found. I joined in July of that year.

Whenever I searched for pictures on things, Fanpop kept coming up with the most awesome pics!

Finally, I thought, "Okay. What is this Fanpop? Maybe I should see." So I did and then I wondered about what all it had. I saw it was free. I saw quizzes and polls and went, "Hmmm." lol. I decided to join & VIOLA ~ here I am [a year and a half later!].

I was hooked and thought it was the BEST site ever!! Sooo much cool stuff & stuff to do about your fav things!

At the end of the summer of 2007, I caught a repeat of Lost & got hooked on the show, I rushed out & rented the first 2 seasons & absolutely couldn't wait for Season 3 to come out on DVD, so started recording Season 4 on the DVR so we coudl go right into watching it when done with Season 3 but I was hooked ever since. but anyway in April or May of 2009 I found out that Season 6 was going to be their final season, I was like OMGosh what am I gonna do without my Lost fix so I started searching for pics of everyone & was searching when I came across the most amazing site, Fanpop, & it's been my most favorite web site since, there is no other one that compares, I had been on & joined in March 2009 & been fanpopping ever since, will be 5 years next March, I feel like I've been here alot longer feels like home, find people I have things in common, love the polls & quizzes, & forums, I've answered a little over 293,000 polls, wish it would say how many quiz questions you've answered whether or not you got them right or not, I've always loved trivia & then I also love being able to create polls & quiz questions, the best website ever! In fact, when I went through my divorce in 2011, my daughter & I have lots in common but I introduced her to Fanpop in 2012 & then we had one more thing in common cause now we've been fanpopping together ever since also. Then since then I've got my parents, grandmothers, sister, brother & his wife, bff, & my nephews although they don't come on as often as my daughter & I, we're probably on 5 or 6 days out of 7, even if only for a couple of hours.

i want to play a quiz and always found fanpop. i want to know something, i found fanpop answer. i want to search picture, i found fanpop, so i think i will joining Fanpop
