Fanpop Question

Purchase a gift? What?

I logged in just now and went to my friend's wall and saw "Purchase a gift" where the props thing usually is...

So me and my friends on chat are wondering, what the heck happened!?

I was just about 2 ask this/that, it just happened 2 me 2 minutes ago when I got back from a club

So that explains why the website wasn't working properly the other day, because they made a few minor changes.

Like shortening the top best answers list on the Random club.-_-

I don't know what that's about, but I just typed something on someone's wall; and the props showed up after I started writing.

Interesting.

Perhaps it may be an indication of the introduction of a point system?
You'd have to purchase the gifts with some type of currency, and I really hope Fanpop wouldn't ask us to use actual money to purchase these gifts.

That's just my wild guess.

Eeew they'd better not do that. That would just piss me off. I hate those types of things..

Yeah I signed and saw this where the props are usually. Last year my friend sent me this link (link). You can buy all sorts of cool stuff. I've never bought anything though. Maybe that's what supposed to open up when you click 'purchase a gift.'

I guess considering it's where the props used to be it probably is newer version or way of giving props.
