Fanpop Question

Can't upload images? :(

I can't upload images, on picks or upload a banner for my spots, not matter how long I wait for the browse box to come up, and the box to upload a new banner never is there it just says banner they never come up,can anyone help!?

Also my meebo, isn't showing up at the bottom of the page, i've tried to get it up but nothing.

Have you made any changes to your browser lately? New updates, tweaks, hacks or extensions? If so, a setting has probably changed somewhere that is effecting your ability to connect to some site features.

If uploading images has always worked for you and nothing's changed on your end, then it's likely a site bug. If so, try contacting one of the Fanpop 4 using the link link and report the problem to them. They can look into things and see if something needs to be fixed on their end.

Oh, and just to be sure, make certain you didn't accidentally click the "Turn IM Off" link on your profile. It's on the left side, just under the links for editing your profile. It wouldn't effect your image problems, but it would keep the IM from showing on the bottom of the screen.

Not really, only thing that's happened is that we've restarted the computer lately that's all, could that be affecting it? I've sent 2 emails already lol, and i've checked and i've clicked on it to make sure that I hadn't turned it off and still nothing.

I don't think restarting the computer would effect it... How weird! I guess you'll have to see what the F4 have to say about it when they get back to you. Are you getting any error messages at all? Or is it just trying to load things and never loading them?

You right click on the image you want and click "save to desktop". Then go to where you want to upload it and click "upload image". Then click search and click the name of the image you saved. Click open, then click upload. Then the image will come up in the box.

With my images i save them as a file, they've always worked before but now its just stopped working.

Well if it ALWAYS worked before than it must be broken? Your from the "U.K." What type of connection are you using to access FanPop?

I also love how the composers reversed Zelda’s Lullaby and constructed an entirely new piece of music… they are so creative and talented. Since there were only a few lyrics in Hylian, I wrote some additional lyrics and added a new vocal melody in order to extend the song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it ^__^
