Is Fanpop chat really shuting down?

I just enterd the bing chat and it said that Meebo chat will be discontinued after October 4th! :O
That will suck is it does shut down or whatever!

Meebo chat is accessable from other places, though, such as- Gaia, meebo.com, and some others.
