Fanpop Question

Is there any way to see which one of your quiz questions was deleted?

This has only happened to me once before, and it was a recent question I'd made so I caught it right away. But now one (possibly two, I can't remember what my exact total was before) of my questions has been deleted. I have a lot and keep only the most recent ones in a word document in case they're deleted. It's kind of really annoying because I work hard to make sure my quiz questions are accurate and not duplicates. It's a rarity to have someone contest one and be right. The few times it has happened, I've reported my own question and remade it. So now I'm just wondering if there's any way to tell which one was deleted?

Deletion is typically a last resort. If possible, we'll try to fix the question, but this can typically only happen if the correct answer is already present in the quiz. If there is no correct answer or if there are two or more correct answers or if there is some valid reason to dispute the validity of the correct question then we will delete the question.

Duplicates, offensive questions, ridiculous questions, spam and off-topic questions will also be removed. Also questions that are rendered obsolete by time or other events that happen after the question is asked will be deleted (e.g. "how old is person X").

Finally, questions that have videos that are removed (for instance on Youtube) for which replacement videos cannot be found may also be deleted (as they are no longer viable questions without the related media file).

I hope that helps. We hate to remove questions, but given the volume of reported items and number of questions asked we cannot contact the question submittor each and every time. We do typically check the validity of questions and sometimes will followup with the person who flagged the item or the creator when time permits.

It would be nice if the questions with broken videos would be flagged as "broken", so that the user who posted them would get the "broken link" notification. Users generally have a pretty good motivation to fix their own broken content.
