Fanpop Question

FanSpot Medals.

I was just wondering;
When you receive, say, a die-hard medal for a spot that you were previously a dedicated-fan of, do you lose the dedicated-fan medal.
For example, you have 15 dedicated-fan medals and get a die-hard medal for one of those spots, are you put down to 14 dedicated-fan medals and 1 die-hard medal?

If that didn't make any sense, feel free to message me, and I will happily explain it further.
Thanks (:

it's being upgraded so you are replacing it with a brand new spanking shiny, and better, medal

Yes, that's how it works. You lose the green medal, but gain a yellow (or lose the yellow and gain a red). You can only have one medal per spot at any given time, so the only thing that changes is the color :)

See, that's what I meant to somehow say but it sort of went on a tangent and into a metaphor that didn't really work...

I think I'm understanding what you mean. The way I look at it is that you are evolving in the medal scale. It's like money.

Say you have ten pennies and then you trade them in for a dime. What you have is exactly the same but it's a larger denomination. So with medals, you have traded in your dedicated for die-hard so the number of medals you have is lower but the value is up....hmm, that doesn't seem to make sense when I write it out.

Basically, I think you still have that medal, it's just been upgraded. Your count remains the same but your just higher up on the fanpoppian chain.

It's the odd way I read that...you said you never cooked them as an Aussie so ...it's just me being very odd. Call it sleep depravation.
