Fanpop Question

Another question for the F4: Next to some of the questions there's a green box marked "good answer" but when you click on it, it doesn't actually specify any one answer. Just shows you all the replies. Why?

Hey Cammy, the "good answer" is the one that's outlined in yellow and is always first in the list of responses/replies. It also says "best answer" in big letters over it.

If a question has a clear winner, we'll select it and also show the green "good answer" icon in the list view.

Only showing the one response wouldn't be very useful since you wouldn't know what the entire question is (especially if they had a photo, video, or description as part of their question). We could auto-scroll the window to the best answer, but then the user would have to scroll back up to see the whole question. For example, in your question, the user wouldn't get to see the puppy photo unless they thought to scroll upwards. Puppies are important! :)

We also want to show the other responses since they deserve a chance to get voted on, as well.
