Yes, Jennifer Ehle captured Lizzy to perfection, looking the very essence of a country girl of that time and place. I think she envied all of her sisters getting married off ahead of her, yet she knew that true love and compatibility were worth waitng for. Simply marrying someone for social status and economic security was abhorrent to our Lizzie, although she was under alot of pressure from her own family to do so. Marrying solely for love was a romantic concept that didn't become common and accepted until well into the future, so Lizzy definitely was ahead of her time, don't you think? Of course, that's not to say that social status and economic security aren't still factors in marriages today!
