Irish Ed Sheeran fans were sent into a frenzy when we revealed that the singer-songwriter would be playing an intimate Dublin gig later this month .

The hit singer has chosen popular  Dublin  pub Whelan\'s to feature in VH1 "Storytellers" series which see artists perform and talk about their songs in front of an intimate audience.

And now the venue has revealed fans can expect news on tickets soon.

On their Facebook page , they said Sheeran\'s superfans can expect 24 hours notice on the ticketing process: "Apologies to all on the lack of information. We are still finalising ticketing arrangements.

"We can say that there will be at least 24 hours notice before the process begins.

"Hoping to have a definitive announcement tomorrow...We would ask that you don\'t message, email or phone for updates. We will post them as soon as we have them..."

So keep your eyes peeled and we will share any updates as we get them.
