Dynasty Sneak Peek: “Don’t Con a Con Artist”

For years, Fallon held resentment toward her mother for leaving, thinking that it was Alexis’s choice to abandon her family and cut off all contact. It gave Fallon abandonment issues that extended to her personal life, always keeping her from getting too close to another person, so the discovery that Blake was the one who pushed Alexis away should’ve been enough to make her reevaluate her identity and how she approaches her relationships with others. However, that possibility for self-reflection was squashed when Fallon learned the whole story of her mother’s departure and what she was doing during those 11 years away, including that she had been in contact with Steven as recently as the year prior. Now, nursing wounds from that and Alexis solely coming home for money, how will Fallon deal with this interloper in the life she’s had to build on her own?

, Fallon and Alexis square off for Steven’s love and attention. As close as Fallon and Steven have gotten, partially out of necessity given Blake’s gruffness, Alexis’s absence, and the pressure that comes with being a Carrington progeny, how they view their mother is their first significant disagreement. Fallon is leery of Alexis, particularly the manner in which she procured the family estate, while Steven has allowed his inner child to take the wheel, content enough in getting the attention from his mother that was missing during his formative years. Freshly engaged, Steven is ready, willing, and able to start over with Alexis and use this opportunity to make up for lost time, but in doing so, he might inadvertently alienate his greatest ally in Fallon. Hopeful he may be that he and his mother could build the relationship they should’ve had all along, will it take Alexis inevitably breaking his heart before Steven realizes that Fallon’s instincts were correct?

, Cristal stumbles across a terrible secret when she turns her attention to Culhane’s family.
