I`ve been looking at the road for the past eight hours.We`re moving,again.This time,to a private school.My grades were good enough for me to get a scholarship.So my mom is driving me to the new house.I haven`t spoken to her since the beginning of the drive.My sister Whitney has been listneing ot her ipod for the whole drive.It`s really quiet.I want to talk to my mom so bad but I `m afraid that she will go off judging and yelling at me.A hour later,the new house was now in sight.It was nice,but not home.Oh,and on the drive down here,I didn`t see one pick-up truck,just mine.I was seriously upset,but my twin,Whitney,was loving it.We`re totally oppisite."I`ll be looking around,outside."I said."Whatevs."Whitney said running inside."Be careful."my mom said."Yeah,yeah,yeah."I said.I walked around back and saw a lake.I grabbed a stick off the ground and started to draw on the water.Fish swan up to stick and tried to bite at it."Hey."a voise said with a hand on my shoulder.I screamed and almost fell in the lake whe nthe hand grabbed and stopped me from falling.The voise had a body that belonged to a punk,teenage boy about my age."Thanks."I said getting up."I should be saying I`m sorry to you.I`m sorry I scared you babe.I`m Duncan.I live acrossthe street."he said."One,don`t call me babe.It`s Courtney.Two,it`s nice to meet you."I said."Same here ba--Courtney."Duncan said."I`m just walking around the house,and if you wanna come,that would be really cool."I said smiling."Sounds good."he said.We started walking along a gravel road.It felt like home on my boots."All this rock is getting in the cracks in my shoes."Duncan said."You complain alot you know that?"I said."Well aren`t you annoyed by it?"Duncna asked."No,it feels like home."I said."You aren`t like any girl I`ve met."he said. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"I asked.We stopped walking and faced each other.We were milimeters away and about to kiss.I heard a sound,a familiar sound.I gasped in delight and looked to where the noise was coming from.I ran toward the gate and said,"C'mon!I gotta teach you!" Duncan ran after me and stopped at the gate.
