"Why do you stick around?" Duncan muttered.
His words hurt of course. But, That was a good question.- Why do I stick around?
"You know I'm only going to break your heart."
I gave him my famous smirk and shoved my pointer finger right on his chest.
"Good point. Why?" I replied.

He sighed and snatched my hand into his palm. Caressing it.
"Two possibilities. 1: You're crazy. 2: You're crazy." He chuckled to himself.
I pulled my hand away from his grasp and gave him a look.
"Why dont we find out?" I pulled onto my leather jacket and started to walk away from him and onto Geoff's yacht party.-
I scampered around the party' In search of my friends. Bridgette Kylee, Was one of my best' friends since Pre-K. Then, There was Gwen Hollister. She was different. More, as you say, distant. But, We were close.

"Courtney!" A female shreik yelled.
My head shot up and I soon saw my Blonde friend racing towards me; Margarita in hand.
"Oh, You look wonderful!" She motioned over to my Skinny jeans, and Black sleeveless tank. I felt like a HUGE bimbo wearing this. But, Duncan approved. And, I guess Bridgette did too.
"Thanks." I Smiled weakly.
I was greeted by Her Fiancee, Geoff Hoarse, and Gwen's Fiancee Trent Myers.
"Courtney." Gwen grinned sheepishly.
I nodded.
Awkward, for some reason.
I glanced over at Trent; Who was as clueless as me.
I shrugged it off and skipped over to the snack table; and hungrily chowed down chips and 1 hotdog.
"Hey, there Beautiful." I grimaced at the sudden sniff of Vodka on Duncan's mouth.
"Have you been-?" I stopped myself. I really didnt want to cause a scene.
I turned away from him and payed no attention at all to his immaturity.

After a few hours of Partying I glanced up at then small little clock.
11:23 PM.
Ugh, I felt a wash on dread lift upon my -shoulders.
"Oh, my god!" A horrified yell tinged my ears.
I asked around to see what the commotion around was all about and saw the most horrible thing i've ever seen.
Gwen&Duncan making out in the small bathroom; It was all being video-taped. Gwen's tank came flying off and Duncan's jacket also.
my heart rose to my throat and instantly clogged me up.
A smooth hand enveloped my shoulder. I glanced up.
Trent. With, Hatred filling his iris'. I felt so bad for him. He actually trusted Gwen and she screwed it up like she always did.
"Party's over!" Geoff boomed over the microphone. I could tell her was dissapointed in the Two too.
Everyone filed out of the docks except me and Duncan.
"Courtney I-"
"Dont bother. Duncan, This is WAY low," I paused."Low enough even for you. You hurt TWO innocent people tonight. And, That question Of our.. Is answered." I murmured and shoved the skull into his chest.
"Princess..." Duncan started.
"What's done is done. Goodbye, Duncan." I ran, ran more than i've ever ran before. Tears were falling like there was no tomorrow.
Yes, Duncan was a player. But.. I never knew he would stoop this low...
