(A/N)Okay, well I've been think of that song called "Kiss the Girl", and gave me an DXC story idea, so enjoy.

"That movie was so stupid!” Duncan growled after storming out of the theater with his 6 year old sister, after finish seeing the movie The Little Mermaid.

Duncan's sister-Emily-ignored her big brother continued to name all her favorite parts. “That movie was so....awwww!"She cooed, as she squealed and spun around on her toes so girly like.

Duncan groaned and cursed under his breath, regretting to his agreement with his mother to take his little sister to the movies, while she cleaned up. “Hurry up Emily!” He shouted at the gleeful girl, as she happily danced her way to his car, and into the back seat.

Duncan got in his car and slammed his door, and drove off back home. When he got there, and pulled up into his mom's drive way, he notices a certain brunette in her room with the curtains open. He watched as she playfully acted like she was singing in her room. Duncan couldn't help but just stare at-what he thought-was the most gorgeous thing in the world.

Emily was bewildered about why her 17 year brother just sat the in the car like a fool. “Duncan, what are waiting for?” She asked, as she opened and closed her door.

The sound of Emily's voice broke Duncan's trance. He turned off the car and got out and led his sister into the house. They were welcomed by their mother who was making dinner for tomorrow's 400 day turned off the sun, which also means that tomorrow will be the day, they too claim the most beautiful and romantic sunset known to man. "How was the movie honey?” A piece of crap, that's what!

"It was wonderful!” Emily squealed using her girly attitude and young mind from Duncan making a disturbing comment.

She smiled a glance at Emily and looked back down at her food she was finishing up making. “I’m glad you two had a good time.” She nicely said.

Duncan rolled his eyes and walked upstairs, but before doing so he hisses out, “I think you mean one.” Then marched upstairs. He went into his room and quickly opens his blinds to get a very good view of Courtney.

Not only did Courtney go to same school as Duncan but she was his next door neighbor too, and he thanked the heavily lords for putting him on the same side that Courtney's room was.

Duncan sat there and watched Courtney grab one of her hair brushes and hysterically sing and dance all over her room. To Duncan, he found Courtney to be very amusing and entertaining, and he was so damn sure she thought the same way.

It almost took Courtney 30 minutes to realize that Duncan had been watching her, and embarrassingly closed her curtains.

Duncan laughed to himself and thought about patting himself on the back for accomplishing another tactic: watch Courtney without making her notice me. Heck, this was the most up-and-loose Courtney he's seen from day one when she laughed so hard when Duncan ran into a lake when he was looking at her. He also remembered he tugged her leg and made her fall in too, and from that very day.......The Duncan and Courtney relationship was born!

He decided to go to bed, knowing no need to fret when Courtney and her family and other friends of my mother were coming over to see the sunset.

Duncan hopped in bed and fell asleep, picture how it would turn out.

Obliviously knowing Duncan has a thing for Courtney, she lifts him off his feet and that was the main problem. He's never felt this way about a girl, and he doesn't know what to do.

What can I do?

*The Next Day*

Duncan was waken-again-by his mother, since Duncan was a very heavy sleeper and almost nothing could wake him. “Five more minutes, ma. “He weakly said, while chugging the covers over his head.

His mother was now fed up with this, and walked out, but soon came back with a bucket of cold ice water. She went up to Duncan's bed and poured the icy liquid on her son’s body. Duncan popped and gave his mom what- the- heck look. “Get up, everyone, will be here soon. “She exclaimed as she strutted out, but then popped her head and said, “Oh, please wear something decent, Duncan."

Duncan was wet and tired, and normally would just go back to sleep, but he was wet and cold, and knew when occasions like this came up, his mother wasn't going to be dealing with his bad attitude.

So he got up and perfectly got dress

He carelessly watch his mother welcome guest, into their back-yard to watch the sunset and eat stuff like that, but stuff when the Daniels came.

When he saw Courtney in her strapless white dress, he thought he felt a little light-headed. But of course he kept his cool, not trying to look like wimpy love struck puppy? This Duncan, we're talking about here.

Emily was excited as Duncan, when she saw Courtney’s five year old brother. I already know what's going through his mind; older woman are way hot!

When flawlessly walked by Duncan, looking like an angle from heaven, he couldn't but follow. When Courtney finally turned around, she was confused and also much stumped by Duncan. “Duncan why are following me? “She asked.

Um, what do I say? I can't just up to and say, because I’m love struck. The main thing in a man's life his to always have dignity, no matter how love struck you are. “What makes you think I was following you. “I asked, mockingly as she pouted and crossed for arms, in very cute way.

"Okay, what do you call, when a person constantly walks your way?” She asked, giving me a knowing look.

Duncan so hard not blush or crack or anything! He drives her crazy! He doesn't know what do, or what to say, or anything!

She tilted her head to face her ear in the direction, waiting for an answer."Well?"She asked, like when a mother asks for response when a child has done something wrong.

Duncan was going to burst any second if he didn't do something. So he just walked away, and stumbled to the beverages. He got a glass of water and quickly gulped it down. He sighed, and was disappointed at himself from that uncool and totally embarrassing move......AND ON A GIRL!

It was only an hour until sunset, which after 400 years everyone-once again-will see the most amazing break of dawn in history.

Duncan sat down in one of the chairs and rubbed his head, trying to clear the tension that was building up inside of him. Suddenly he saw his sister come over and smile right in his face. “What do you want Emily?” He asked, completely annoyed by her enough.

She used her finger to twirl her hair around, as she spoke. “Well, I notice you totally punk out with Courtney, which almost relates to the mermaid movie. “She cooed. Duncan looked at the 6 year old toddler like she was insane. “You know the song; there you see her, sitting there across the way...."

She happily watched, as surprisingly Duncan remembered the song and what it meant. He still remembered the lyrics;

She don't got a lot say, but something about her
And you don't know why, but your dying to a try
You want to kiss the girl.

Duncan got up and dramatically marched over to Courtney. He threw all the wimpy love sick puppy crap and away proudly walked up to her. Courtney notices him and turned around. “So, you ready to answer my question? “ She asked.

Duncan rubbed the back of his neck and said, “Well, yeah, I wanted your attention...."He trailed off as he looked into her gorgeous eyes. But he was soon back when his sister-once again-came up to him, and tugged onto his shirt. He bent down and to see what she wanted.

She notices his annoyance by her, and smiled and whispered in his ear, “Kiss the girl."

He looked back at Courtney and smiled."...and because for so long I've been waiting to do this. “He grabbed her face, and gently pressed his lips with her. She moved her arms around his neck, and unexpectedly her foot popped up like in one of those old movies.

Duncan pulled back and smirked. “I knew, I was right.......YOUR AMAZING KISSER!!"He jokily said.

Courtney laughed and tapped his nose. “Shut up, and just kiss me!” And once again, Courtney pulled Duncan back in another kiss.

And at that moment the sunset had finally come. IT was the most beautiful thing, and looked even more while Duncan spun Courtney around while it was setting.

Duncan and Courtney both agreed that they would never forget this moment ever. And the day finally Duncan stood up to his feelings for Courtney and finally......


Kissed that girl.
