It was about midnight and me and Geoff were watching TV downstairs, while my farther and mother were watching TV upstairs. I didn't plan on Geoff coming over he just did.
"So, Geoff, what do you know about vampires."I asked.
He looked at me and snorted."Why man, did you see one? Because they're suppose to instinct."He exclaimed.
I rubbed the back of my neck."Nah, I was just asking."I lied."Lets say they were still alive or something, and this boy met this vampire girl and her coven, and than instantly fell in love with her."
He shrugged and as he flipped through channels."I don't know, vampires just have that kind of effect on humans. They're more clever than humans could be. Now if the vampire girl falls in love with the boy.....than that's a whole another story."He explained.
I rubbed my chin as I thought about. The look in her eyes when I first saw her. Her bloody red eyes quickly turned black for some reason. She smiled and kissed me, and instantly jumped out the widow. It was all so...confusion. Courtney.....
Geoff looked at me."Why are you asking so many question?"He asked.
I snapped back to reality."No reason, just came to mind."I lied again.
For a while I just sat there and watch TV with my good buddy Geoff, and than I started to here a tap-tap-tapping noise on the rough. It actually sounded like an animal was in the attic.
Me and Geoff that it would be fun to go check it out. I got out my flashlight and we both opened the attic, and started to investigate the odd sound.
The attic was usually used to but my father's army guns in, and other war junk, just in case something like that had happened. I went into one room and while Geoff checked the other. The room I was looking in stored my mother's old make-up boxes and other girly stuff.
I than heard a noise came from an old nightstand my mother used to store her stuff. I point the flash in the mirror and I saw a girl's red eyes staring back at me. I quickly turned around, realized it was just Courtney.
I took a deep breath from the sight of her bloody red eyes."Don't sneak up on me like that."I said.
She giggled, and took my flash light."What is this?"She asked.
"It's a flashlight, we use it to see in the dark."I explained to, as I took the flashlight back. And at that time, some how my finger tips had touched her skin, which made me shudder. I back away quickly and looked at her."Wow, you freezing cold."
She blinked her eyes twice and smiled."I'm dead, Duncan. I don't have warm blood running through my body."She explained.
Oh yeah, I forgot that vampires didn't have heart, they couldn't. They're body's didn't depend on blood warm blood, just feeding on it. I looked at her as her eyes turned black. That was the only thing I didn't get, why did her eyes turn black."Why are your eyes always turning black around me."I asked.
She didn't look at me just stared at the stuff that was laying upon the old nightstand."I don't want to eat you. My eyes only stay red because of the way my thirst is controlled. I decide when I want to eat. The rest of my sister's eyes are always and forever red....except for Jasper."She exclaimed.
I was understanding what she said, it's just that why didn't she want to feed on me."Why don't you just eat me already, I know it's hurting you."
She finally looked at me and crossed her arms, and pouted."I just don't want...."She said.
I half smiled and smirked, knowing exactly why."Knowing that humans can't resist vampires since your looks are like bait, I've never heard of a vampire loving a human."I said.
She frowned."I never...."She stopped because Geoff had walked in.
"Dude who are you talking to."He said, as I turned around.
I looked at him and than turned around and Courtney was gone. I smirked."Oh, no one, I was just remembering a certain someone."I said.
I saw her leap from the ceiling and back on the ground behind Geoff. She smiled before pouncing through the attic widow. Geoff finally turned around, and looked back at me. He had wary/confuse look on his face."Okay, man, I don't know about you, but I'm getting out of here, your attic is way to creepy."He said, leading his way back down and out the attic.
To Be Continued......
I will be talking about ya'll characters more, since this part wasn't, so....I hope you like it.

(TDI, TDA and TDWT never happened)
I was toppled over by scrapbooks, ribbons, medals and a big canvas bag when I opened the closet door. What really caught my eye was the huge canvas sack that almost pulverized my leg. I wrenched myself out and pulled the bag over to my bed. I dug out my little sister's, Cookie's (her real name is Charlise), little plastic "Sheriff" badge and giggled. I placed it down and pulled out an unopened letter that I never have seen before. I opened and read it:
Dear Miss Courtney Langerak,
Thank you for help saving our ranch from MorcuCorp! We really appreciate your concern for all of the horses and the ranch. You are welcome to come here anytime!
From,
Vickie
Barry
Duncan
and the rest of Carousel Ranch!
I ran my fingers over the printed words, especially Duncan's. There was a picture in the envelope of me and Duncan. I now remember how we helped Carousel Ranch like it was yesterday...
