Courtney's POV

At the first part of their drive to the headquarters there was awkward silence, then Courtney broke it. "So how long have you been in the gang?" "I joined when I was 13." Duncan replied. "13...wow thats young.. why?" Courtney asked. "Because my parents died in a car crash, I had no food and since I wasn't afraid to die they brought me in..." "Oh....Im sorry" Courtney said sincerely "...my turn to ask you a question...do you have a boyfriend?" Duncan asked trying not to sound like he cared, but Courtney could tell he did. " Um well I had one but we broke up a few weeks ago...he was a jerk that was cheating on me." Courtney said. I didn't like him that much anyways....Why is duncan all the sudden all smiley? Courtney wondered. "What are you so smiley about?" Courtney asked. "Umm nothing!" Duncan said and blushed. "We are here!" Duncan said trying to change the subject.

"Um all I see is a run-down, dirty, old, tiny house..I am NOT staying here!" Courtney said. "Well you better get used to it Courtn- I mean Princess" Duncan smirked. "I hate it when people call me nicknames!" Courtney expained. "Perfect" Duncan said. Usually Courtney hated it when people called her pet names but, she was surprisingly okay with it when Duncan called her Princess. I don't like him...Do I...No absolutely not he is some perverted, murderer, and a gangster! Courtney argued in her head. "Follow mw" Duncan said, he lead her through the front door which was so run down it creaked louder then she could scream Courtney thought. When Courtney look in and saw a small living room and kitchen and a long hallroom with many rooms connected to it. "Urggg...It smells like....Beer" Courtney said disgusted. "Thats all they have here so you better get used to it babe" Duncan said.

" Who are you calling babe?" Dalton asked. "No one!" Duncan said quickly. Dalton came up to Courtney put his hand on her thigh and rode his hand up to her butt. Courtney felt very uncomfortable. Suddenly Duncan came over to Dalton punched him in the face and then again in the stomach. "On second thought we are going to leave right now!' Duncan said urgently. But Courtney legs refused to move, so Duncan ran over her threw her over his shoulder and started running. Duncan put Courtney in shogun and jumped over the hood of the car and took off. "Im right behind you" Duncan and Courtney could hear Dalton yell in the distance. Suddenly Dalton's car was right behind them. He pulled out the gun once again a pointed to at Duncan's Car....
