Chapter 3: Wow
     Me and Destiny were walking back to the house when I looked up at the stars funny thing about these stars they grew brighter every time I saw them Duncan had a soft spot for stars Destiny waited on me she knew how much the stars meant to me I stared up and whispered real soft “Duncan.”
    Me and Duncan walked to his house when we got there I sat on the couch he handed me a Carmello (candy bar) he hopped over the couch and took the DVD remote form off the coffee table he knew me so well he picked out my all time favorite movie The Hot Chick I watched and laughed so hard my head bent backward when it got to a more serious part I sat back Duncan yawned his arms stretched out he landed one of his arms behind my neck it was a little weird but I didn’t really mind I started to get cold I pulled the blanket on top of us he scooted a bit closer to me now I had an idea on what he was doing I scooted a little closer too could see his eyes so light even in his dark living room Before I knew it our faces were inches apart I leaned in he did also our lips almost touched until his obnoxious little brother Nathan who is 8 turns on the light and flies his plastic toy air plane around the room making annoying Vroom noises Duncan was furious I could see it in his eyes it looked like he was attempting to kill someone I paused the movie and took his hand he followed close behind we walked out to his swing set I sat down looking up toward the dark sky billions and billions of stars that were on it Duncan looked up too “Wow there amazing.” he said I smiled he looked at me “Now, Where were we?” he cuffed my chin in his soft but big hand we leaned in close to one another I tried to do what they did on the movies and TV I closed my as soon as his lips met mine I felt sparks fly all around that night sky it was nothing how I imagined it, it was WAY better it lasted for what felt like forever in reality was 8 seconds when he let go we both said in unison “Wow!“ my first kiss with my best friend I was so nervous my confidence ran off somewhere I looked at my imaginary watch “Oh look at the time I got to get going bye!” I ran off he yelled after me I heard him but I was not planning on stopping was I crazy I had a boyfriend and we were just friends how could I be so careless I breathed I never kissed Paul when I arrived at my house I ran straight to my room and plopped on the bed I spread my arms far apart I sighed and whispered “Wow.”
