Drawing Question

Advice for someone who can't draw stick people?

I can draw animals and landscapes decently, and I know I could draw really well if I worked at it and took it seriously, but it's more of a time-killer for me. I really suck at drawing people. I've relied on doll makers my whole life, but my options are limited, and it feels well, not mine. And a picture I want to draw involves a big group, so doll makers can't really do that anyway. What can I do to draw people better? Please explain in a very simple manner since I know nothing. Thanks!

Try practicing by drawing from photos, e.g. find a photo on he internet with people in and try drawing them. You could also try drawing people in real life, if you can find someone willing to help.

The est way is to just keep practicing, over and over. Maybe start with stick-men, then build on it adding more detail as you go.

Print out a line drawing of a person (in a simple pose)
Trace it a few times to get you used to how to shape the lines. Try drawing it on your own while looking at the picture. If you don't feel confident enough yet then trace it a few more times. After a while you will get to where you can draw them in any pose.

People were the hardest for me to draw to!

A big thing is to draw what you see instead of drawing what you think you see. Shading really helps but a really good thing to do is learn facial proportions. My drawing went leaps and bounds after learning to do these things. Hope I helped!
