Dogs Question

Help!!!!!!!!!

I have a dog and she is a labrador called Ellie.

But she cant walk on a leshe properly. If i walk her, she runs and run and runs really fast and when you try to pull to make her stop, the lead hurts you hand really badly.

She always runs across the street and even when you bring treats to teach her how to walk she wont eat them!!

Its getting really hard to walk her because she is incredibly strong!!!

once i was walking her on grass and i tripped and she ran super fast and pulled me along the ground!

And she keeps choking herself and no matter what i do it wont work!

CAN ANYONE HELP ME??

(P.S she kinda like marley from marley and me isn't she? we always call her marley)

I would try a dog harness as your lead may not be strong enough for such a strong dog.You can get non pull harnesses they are ideal to help your dog to stop pulling. The larger pet stores stock them or you can get them on the net. Also be firm with your commands Like Heel ! Sit ! Stay ! ask your dog to "Sit" before you set off walking and then bring her back to heel. The more you do this the chances sre she will learn. Also you could look at the pet store for books that give you tips on how to train your dog and you can also take your dog to dog training classes, just ask at your local Vets for classes that are available in your area.GOOD LUCK....hope i have been of some help :) please let me know how you get on...
