Dogs Question

Please help!

Well my cousins dog is getting on now and they got a puppy awhile ago. There dog is almost going deaf and today they were talking about putting him to sleep. But I love him to pieces and would probably cry if anything happened to him and if they were gonna put him to sleep there would be nothing i could do about it. I also feel he is getting a little rejected because of the puppy. What should I do?

Well just love the older dog while you still can. Its hard when a dog must be put down but soemtimes its for the best..that why they dont suffer. I really feel for you..but as I said just love the dog alot while he's still here.

It's always sad when a pet has to be put to sleep.It's a very hard decision to have to make but you wouldn't want the dog to suffer in any way.Try to be strong whatever happens you will always have special memories of this dog that no one can take away.I wish you well....

I had a friend that had the same problem, her dog was blind and deaf, he was very old and they put him down.

Yeah. My friend saved a dog that was blind in one eye and deaf. She gorg I love her and it does seem sad, but I understand

my auntys dog lived with being deaf all its life but it is a lot harder to look after a deaf dog and it can get really hard to communicate with it so think about the dog and if its gunna suffer

Try to talk them out of it. Tell them how you feel. How you love that dog to pieces. Also, I think it is wrong to put a dog down just because of some medical health issues. Like being blind or not able to hear. Don't let them do this. I know how it feels to lose a dog you love with all your heart. Hope this helps.
