as much as i loved donna and the doctor with their humour. The Doctor and Rose were just perfect together.

Donna added a more realistic reaction to the events she was exposed to. To me she was one of the best companions

love donna but it has to go to rose

im sorry but i didnt like rose very much. i feel as though she was too needy and whiny but donna added humor and she didnt fall in love with the doctor. i kinda am done with all the romance in dr who

I love both but if I have to choose, I would say Rose.
Because she was there first, and because I loved her with both 9th and 10th doctor.
And if Donna was great with 10th, I 'm not sure how it would have turn out with 9th. Too bad she can't meet 11th though. I'm sure they would have been awesome together.
