In the pick-up truck bed, Violet was getting restless. With rage she tore open the bag and banged against the cage. Groaning and growling, Violet hit the cage. Boy was she angry. Bolt backed up and slammed hiss body against it. Together the dogs fought for freedom. "AAGH! F this!" Violet said pacing. She was sad and angry. "OMG! Come on stupid cage!" Bolt woke up first thing in the morning. His stomach growled loudly. All of the others woke up to the funny niose. "Sorry," Bolt replied. "I'm starving." "I feel like a wolf," Lightning said bounding over. "Because first of all we have to hunt and smell out food, second, I don't have my bandanna on, third, I have pointed ears and a bushy tail." She wags her tail once. "C'mon. We need to start off. We're far from camp." Duke said stretching. Everybody follows Duke's orders because he is the leader of these pet groups. He wanted to keep everyone safe. They were ready to travel.

Bolt, Onyx and Holly were now quite good friends with Olivia and Lorem, even if Onyx was constantly hankering to take a bite out of both of them. The initial plan of going to Russia was to explore a bit, get out in the world, and after a short explanation and an exchange of stories, the two rodents had a perfect plan - ride the Trans-Siberian Railway all the way through Russia.
