Howard Ashman, a legend amoung Disney musicians
Howard Ashman, a legend amoung Disney musicians
This is just a little blurb I had to do on a lyricist for music class. I chose Howard Ashman who helped compose and write the music for some of Disney's most memorable films.

Howard Ashman was born in Baltimore on May 17, 1951. Ashman attended school at Goddard College and Boston University. He also earned an MFA from Indiana University. In 1974 he moved to New York where he became an editor at Grosset & Dun, a United States book publisher founded in 1898.
He was a Jewish American lyricist, playwright, and director, best known for his work with Disney. Ashman received the 1989 Academy Award...

Another top 10 list of mine, this time I'm counting down my favorite Disney Songs. Believe it or not, but this list wasn't very hard to make although I have to admit that there are many other great Disney Songs than the ones I have here. And you'll notice that I love the underrated songs more than the well known ones so if your favorite song isn't here it's most probably because it's one of the more popular Disney Songs.

10. Once Upon A Dream

Even though this song is heard 3 times in the movie I can't get enough of listening to this song, compared to other love songs it's not too slow ,...

Hey yal it's time to get back to the story and let me tell ya it's really dramatic. Lets get to the part about me since I'm unfortunately the damsel. Those cat ladies want me to tell them where I keep my magic book, but they'll never get me to talk. Besides these girls aren't exactly the sharpest pitchforks in the barn. Now for the part where I get saved which is a twist, it's the brave little girl coming to the rescue. She sneaked up behind them grabbed their ponytails and tied them together. She than grabbed some rope to try to tie them up when she's done messing with them.

"Oh girls! Forget...

Sleeping Beauty with Maleficent (1959)
Sleeping Beauty with Maleficent (1959)
Sleeping Beauty is a 1959 American animated film produced by Walt Disney and based on the fairy tale "La Belle au bois dormant" by Charles Perrault. The 16th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series, it was released to theatres on January 29, 1959 by Buena Vista Distribution. It is the last fairy tale produced by Walt Disney due to its initial box office disappointment; the studio did not return to the genre until well after Disney's death with the release of The Little Mermaid (1989).

The film was directed by Les Clark, Eric Larson, and Wolfgang Reitherman, under the supervision...

Queen: Cards, halt! Count off!

Cards: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, Jack.

Alice: The rabbit!

White Rabbit: He...he... her imperial highness, he... her grace, her excellency, her royal majesty, the Queen of Hearts! And the King...

A card (or perhaps Mickey Mouse?): Hurray!

Queen: Hum... Who's been painting my roses red? Who's been painting my roses red? Who dares to taint, with vulgar paint, the royal flower bed? For painting my roses red, someone will loose his head!

Three: Oh, no! Your majesty! Please, it's all his fault!

Two: Not me, your grace! The Ace, the Ace!...

Are you sitting comfortably? Then i'll paste the whole plot. The film starts out with everybody preparing for Christmas. Chip puts up decorations along with the others until he comes across a storybook. He then shows it to Mrs. Potts, his mother and asks him to read it. Soon everyone is gathered round Mrs. Potts as she tells the events of what happened after Beast and Belle escape from the wolves...

Belle is still a prisoner in the Beast's castle. All the servants are trying to figure out a way for them to fall in love with each other, and with Christmas coming up, they look at this as a great...

My best favorite character from Hercules movie is Hercules and Megara.

Hercules is strong and famous. He can fight any monster in the world. Hercules was fell in love with Megara is because he loves her a lot when he stands up to her when he first meet her about he rescue Megara from the evil blue villain which I don't know what his name is though:)

Hades is a villain that was mean and evil to Hercules and Hercules can be strong and fight the monsters that were trapped under the water. Hercules is the most hero in the world like Jim Hawkins is too. Hercules and Megara are so close together at the end of the movie.

This is all of the favorite characters from Hercules classic movie:)

Young Simba: Hey, Uncle Scar, guess what?
Scar: I despise guessing games.
Young Simba: I'm gonna be King of Pride Rock.
Scar: Oh, goody.
Young Simba: My dad just showed me the whole kingdom. And I'm gonna rule it all. Heheh.
Scar: Yes. Well, forgive me for not leaping for joy. Bad back, you know.
[flops on his side]
Young Simba: Hey Uncle Scar, when I'm King, what'll that make you?

Young Simba: [laughs] You're so weird.
Scar: You have no idea.

I found this animated one boring now. Songwriter Roger Radcliffe lives in a bachelor flat in London, England along with his dalmatian Pongo. Bored with bachelor life, Pongo decides to find a wife for Roger and a mate for himself. While watching various female dog-human pairs out the window, he spots the perfect couple, a woman named Anita and her female dalmatian, Perdita. He quickly gets Roger out of the house and drags him through the park to arrange a meeting. Pongo accidentally causes both Roger and Anita to fall into a pond, but it works out well as the couple falls in love. Both couples...

Okay it's been a week and Angel has been doing better and hasn't had any bad dreams. We're at the park again, hopefully this won't cause anything bad. Unfortunately it did because one of my magic books are gone, I have two. I keep one of them in my pocket with a shrinking spell and the other in my magic room. The one in my magic room is the one that was stolen, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Besides this time I'm not telling from my point of view I'm telling from Scamp's point of view.

Here's the story Scamp was playing around with Patch with Angel like normal human children. However suddenly...

What I like the most about this song: "Be prepared!" ;)
What I like the least about this song: Nothing. I really like everything about this song.

'Cruella de Vil'- One Hundred and One Dalmatians
What I like most about this song: Hmm...probably the lyrics.
What I like the least about this song: Nothing really, I think the timing of the song in the movie was just perfect, but maybe Roger could have described Cruella just a little bit more?......

'Strangers Like Me'- Tarzan
What I like most about this song: I'm not really sure, I like pretty much everything about...

Chapter 26—Family Feud

There was silence after Patch’s decision. Puffball just shook his head at Patch and opened his mouth. He then walked over to Patch, and shouted, “You little spoiled brat! Your family cares for you so much...and you’re just staying with a couple of puppies you only met a couple days back!”
“You wouldn’t understand,” Patch told Puffball. “I know that my parents love us as their children, but Scamp and Angel love me for who I am.”
Pongo and Perdita whispered to each other. Then, Perdita nodded. She and Pongo then whispered to Lady and Tramp. Then, at last,...

Before Merryweather has a chance to give the child a gift, Maleficent arrives with Diablo, perched on her staff. Angry at not receiving an invitation, she curses the child, decreeing that, before the sun sets on Aurora’s 16th birthday, the child shall die, by pricking her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel. She then leaves, whilst cackling. Merryweather, unable to undo the entire curse herself, is able to alter it such...

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)-Disney's First Movie
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937):
Through a textual prologue told via a stop-motion storybook, the audience is told that Snow White is a princess living with her stepmother, a vain and wicked Queen who is assumed to have taken over the kingdom after the death of Snow White's father. Fearing Snow White's beauty surpassing her own, the Queen forced her to work as a scullery maid and asked her Magic Mirror daily "who is the fairest one of all". For many years the mirror always answered that the Queen was, pleasing her.

At the film's opening, the Magic Mirror informs the Queen that Snow White...
