^Well, as I see it, she isn't, because she wasn't originally made by Disney. Merida is from Pixar but she was made when Disney already owned Pixar.

I just don't like her as much as the others. It is possible that is due to her not being made by Disney and not getting as much march as I was growing up. I also just prefer the movies of the others more and the personalities.

Rather you count Anastasia as Disney or not she's not an official DP. Just because a princess is owned by Disney it doesn't mean she's a "Disney Princess". I mean, I'm a big Star Wars fan and I'll include them in my favorite Disney characters lists, but I'm not going to include Princess Leia or Queen Amidala among the Disney Princesses.

I was told this was a nurturing and supportive community but your comment seems the opposite of that, assuming it was directed at me. Considering this is your first interaction with me, that makes you come across as especially rude as rather than a welcome, you are berating me. From what I've seen here, people have included non-official girls like Esmeralda, Elsa, Anna, Alice, etc. and I am not familiar with or interested in half of the "official" girls anyway (and it shocks me how some of them are even princesses).

I originally wasn't going to vote in my own polls but I realized that by ranking them in order, I already have essentially chosen so I might as well vote. Pocahontas is my least favorite of my top five and at one point, I was torn between including her or Jasmine. However, I prefer Pocahontas' personality and her introverted nature and friendship with all the forest animals.
