All of these except the animation, I loved the animation the way it was

I think, but some of them are already answered on the remake version so I don't really mind :D

This is the only change. The animation is so horrendous at times.

This isn’t even a major problem for me, but it would be a nice fix.

And the plot holes and animation. Other than that, this movie is perfection <3

This film is beloved in my country.

Belle has at least 7 different faces in this movie XD Also the very weak plot, could have been a lot better.

The animation needs to be reworked in some places.

I'd prefer him being cursed by evil fairy, improsoning Maurice for less petty reason( stealing rose, yes) and treating Belle with chivalry and kindness all along.

I think that "arrogant, snobbish, spoiled brat who has a good heart and later overcomes his flaws" can be done well and it was done well in "Prince of Egypt" with Moses. Some say, "I love that Beast gave Belle a luxurious instead of leaving her in dungeon, it's shows that he wasn't bad all along and always possessed some chivalry!" Yikes, by being willing to damage the health of man whom the woman loves means hurting this woman to. Moses even before his character development was a very devoted, protective and supportive brother to Rameses and genuinely cheered for his success and enjoyed helping him. I highly appreciate it, this side of Moses really reminds me of Anna. And even when he physically attacked Miriam, it was largely( not just but largely) because she badmouthed his beloved father( still a jerkish act though and what he did to Tzipporah can't be justified at all). This is a great example of Jerk with a Heart of Gold type of character who is sympathetic before his development. Of course, Beast is not a protagonist but this is another reason they should stick source material.

Basically, a number of these, but this is closest. I just don't like Disney's version of Belle.

I guess it's a minor nitpick though.
I've never been a huge fan of this movie, but I have a feeling I'd appreciate it a lot more if I watched it again.
I've seen a few scene comparisons between this movie and the remake, and this movie captures emotion so much better.

Gaston (Along with Lefou) is the weakest element of the film and doesn't really come across as a legit threat or an interesting villain. He's more like a silly little obstacle until the last third and even then wasn't that much of a threat. The Enchantress is who should've been the villain the whole time!

It would have been nice if Belle saw that her life was good the way it was and stopped criticizing everyone around her just because they think differently than she does. She acted like she was better than them, and the comments she made about the town seemed a little mean.

Not really a major problem for me but still. I don´t think I would change another thing.

This bothers me a lot whenever I watch the film.

The only problem with this movie.

Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie. Belle is my ultimate favorite Disney princess. I thought the movie is perfect the way it is, with all the plot holes and character flaws and other things listed. I do not want to change a thing, i don't think people will loved it they way the do now if it was done any different.

All but Beast. I don't think he was that terrible. He *is* supposed to be beastly after all. The movie portrays him as 100% in the wrong for it, gives Belle all the agency she deserves in their relationship, even portrays her as morally superior. And of course he learns and matures.

The inconsistent animation bothers me the least though. Probably because I just never noticed till it was pointed out to me here.
