I'm on a heroine kick, the female, not the drug. After doing that article about Jane and Kida, I decided to make my own official line-up of Disney Heriones and rank them while I'm at it. So this is sort of a list and sort of a plain article. Anyway, I kinda set afew rules for myself.
1.She has to be human, but even then the only big losses are Lady and Nala.
2.She can be any age.
3.She has to have some similarities to at least one of the official princesses.
4.Two can be from the same film.So let's get started.
10.Eilonwy
Counterpart: Aurora-long blonde hair, actually a princess
I watched her film once when i was little and I barely remember. Quite frankly I'm not interested watching it again, the movie looks boring. But I do remember liking her alot, I especially love the way she looks.
9.Giselle
Counterpart: Cinderella-extremely generic, singing
I really don't like her. I don't like her animated and I don't like her in live action. Just like Rapunzel, it's hard for me to pinpoint why I dislike her. Plus, I find her very unnattractive. The only reason she beats out Eilonwy is because she's fresher in my memory.
8.Kida
Counterpart: Pocahontas-tribal princess, extremely unpopular
I'm one of the few people that love the movie Atlantis, though I completely understand why it was a flop. I like her look and her personality. But I like her most when she's a glowing orb. I prefer the other heroines better though.
7.Jane
Counterpart: Belle-do i really need to explain?
I think she's very pretty and I think she's hilarious, especially when she first meets Tarzan. I love how wild and free she learns to become by the end of the movie. And I really like her accent.
6.Jessica Rabbit
Counterpart: Ariel-red hair, extremely hot
She's the epitome of sex appeal. Despite being very attractive, she also has a nice personality, I like how mysterious she is and I love her relationship with Roger. Bestiality, it's only okay in cartoons.
5.Alice
Counterpart: Snow White-young, legendary character
I love this girl, I'd chose this Alice over the new one anyday. I love how she manages to keep sane in such a wacky world. Like alot of classic characters, there isn't much to say about her. She's pretty simple.
4.Nani
Counterpart: Tiana-mature, serious, waitress
She's the heroine I can relate to the most. I know what it's like to have responsibilties as an older sibling. I definitely know what it's like to have an annoying younger sister, hell I have two. I also think she's gorgeous.
3.Lilo
Counterpart: Rapunzel-childish, alittle awkward
I love Lilo and Stitch and I especially love the leading lady. She's an amazing kid. I love her weird behaviour, I love how she wanted Stitch despite his freaky appearance and I love how deep she is. I just love this kid.
2.Megara
Counterpart: Jasmine-seductive, kinda bitchy
My top two should come as no surprise. I love her snarky attitude. She has the best song out of all the heroines. The fact she doesn't want to fall in love is very appealing to me. She by far the most complex female Disney character.
1.Esmeralda
Counterpart: Mulan-not a princess, total badass
My personal favorite, the gypsy. I absolutely love this woman. She has the other best song. She's not singing about falling in love, she's singing about asking God to help her people. Her exotic features are amazing, I could stare at her all day. Not to mention, she is one kickass female character.
Well, there you have it, my official Disney Heroine line-up. As you can see I didn't put much effort into writing this. Hey, there's reason why they're not included.
