Since the Princess of the Month is Belle, I figured why not start with Belle's favorite princess list. You can read my old ranking link.
I had an especially rough time placing Jasmine, Tiana, and Aurora. Eventually I went with what I have here. :)
Unfortunately Merida seems to take up a semi-permanent residence in last place for a lot of these princess lists, not unlike her condemnation on fanpop. Belle would have a strong distaste for Merida. Belle is a proud, dignified individual who cares about how she presents herself and Merida would seem callous and sloppy to Belle. Merida...
Moana's list is another interesting one because unlike Anna and Snow White I really don't think Moana would care much for the Disney Princesses save for her favorites. Tiana, Jasmine, and Ariel were particularly tough to place and if you have suggestions on how Moana would feel about them, please feel free to share.
I actually originally was going to group all the classic princesses together in one picture because frankly I don't think Moana would give them the time of day. Aurora and Moana have nothing in common and wouldn't even be remotely interested in each other.
A bit of a disclaimer:I think the main issue with ranking Elsa's favorite princesses is how mysterious her character truly is giving that it is drowning in anxieties and fears, and is also frankly more of a cardboard character- easier to project onto then to discern an actual personality. There are also 3 different Elsa's throughout the film- beginning movie Elsa, who is in control but paralyzed by fear, middle-movie Elsa who is on a high of letting her emotions take over and end movie Elsa who now understands that her emotions and powers can be controlled through "love" but is still practical...
Here is the list of fanpop's favorite princesses. I decided to omit the list of usernames and where the princesses are ranked, because I find it to be indulgent and cluttered. I will instead link the poll where I asked everyone's favorite princess: link
Disclaimer: If you see me quote myself, it's because I didn't have a sufficient quote on either the positive or negative side for that particular princess. Also, I simply picked quotes I thought were the best at summarizing the pros/cons of each princess, so some people may show up twice. I did try to diversify the user quotes, though.
Ranking the Disney princess eyes Eyes are considered to be windows to the soul. Eyes are the most important facial feature. They beautify your face and are a beauty trademark to be admired if beautiful. I have aquamarine eyes which I spend time examining them and stare at many other people’s eyes. I decided to rank Disney princesses by their eyes. And it is unique that I prefer big, wide eyes than small, tiny ones.
15. Mulan’s eyes
I don’t think she’s pretty, and I don’t like her eyes also. They are the least beautiful of other Disney princess eyes. They are angled up, almost the V-shape....
Who will win? Tangled vs. Frozen! Frozen frost or Tangled tracks?
It is going to be EPIC! So hold on your seats for the comparison of two blockbusters of Disney---TANGLED AND FROZEN. This is my first article, so I am a bit nervous but I hope you enjoy this beauty list!
While Frozen comes with great directors and has much consumerism, Tangled has amazing visuals, entertaining storyline, great music, wonderful characterization and nice places! Let’s Start!
VISUALS AND ANIMATION: Back in 2010, Tangled was considered to be one of the most beautiful looking animated films ever created. The animators...
10. Cinderella- I like Cinderella but I feel like she is a little too inexpressive in my opinion. I like that she is very strong and shows it by keeping her cool throughout the movie. I mean her life is hard throughout the entire beginning of the movie, she is a victim of abuse by her step-mother and sisters. So I definitely respect that about Cinderella. She is still a very monotonous character in my opinion so that's why I put her so low on this list.
9. Rapunzel- I like her girly and childish attitude, and I really like her style. I think purple definitely fits her. One complaint I have is...
Well, I managed to be able to see the Broadway show of The Little Mermaid, something I’ve dreamed of experiencing since the moment I heard about the Broadway show years ago. Most of you know that Disney’s The Little Mermaid is both my favorite Disney movie and one of my favorite movies of ALL TIME, so this was MAJOR for me! I also was lucky enough to see the original Broadway show on youtube, starring Sierra Boggess as Ariel herself, that show was amazing with many great new songs, capturing the characters I loved so much while giving them a new spin, and clever writing.
