Hi everyone, I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with a short article that's purely for fun. A while back I posted a poll where I associated some of the mushrooms in the game Plants vs. Zombies with the DPs, and now I wanted to expand on that while also providing some brief reasoning for my choices. Note that I'll be generalizing these characters quite a bit here, mostly looking at just one quality. This is all in good fun though, so let's begin! A while ago, I did a poll series called "A Movie Staring Disney Princesses" , deciding what roles Disney Princesses would play in a movie (results are down below. And then I posted a forum, deciding plots. Although I did decide most of the plot, many people helped me get started and got the plot going in my head, so I can't take all the credit. Thank you to those who participated- whether you helped in the forum, voted in the polls or both, and I'm sorry for the long wait. This will take place in a few parts- I don't know how many exactly, but I estimate four-five.

So, since Disney has release 2 live-action reboots of their Disney classic animated feature. Here is what I think about which movie is better, as well as their animated counterparts.

Cinderella (1950 & 2015)

I would definitely go for the live-action version, as mentioned in my previous articles. Ella has more personality compare to her animated counterpart, and of course, less screen-time for the mice.
However, no Bruno the dog! Also, no songs in it. I wish it was, but on the other hand, the producers and Kenneth Brannagh didn't want the movie to be to close to its original 1950 animated...

I have seen that many people on Fanpop dislike Jasmine, or at least don't give her much credit. She happens to be my 2nd favorite princess, and I just love how confident and adventurous she is. Here I will explain why I like her and deliver on some common things said against Jasmine.

Hey everyone! So I thought I'd try something new with this article. I have heard that you guys like criteria-based articles as well as opinionated articles so I am trying to combine the 2 for your liking. :D Because I'm a bit dorky and I love making and solving math equations, I always make a formula to figure out my rankings. For this article, I took the 24 most important elements of a Disney Princess film to me and rated each film relative to those elements. I also then separated those 24 elements into 5 categories depending on how much I valued them (relative to each other) and factored...

I have always been intrigued with crossovers among Disney princess couples. Although, honestly, most of these couples are for imagination and fictional enjoyment only as I tend to find more and more similarities between them than the original couples. I prefer original couple but sometimes i imagine different pairings as well.
Hope people won't find it awkward or weird to see these pairings and would enjoy it as interesting read. Having said that, I'd love to hear your opinions of why any of these pairing is completely off and who would you rather pair them with?

Unlike my favorite Disney Princess list this list hasn't changed so much, but I still felt like writing an article about this because not only has it changed, it's also been a while since the last time I wrote this article. I find all the princesses pretty, but I have prefrences, for example I prefer the more realistic looking princesses so don't be surprised if most of the bottom placements are the cartoony looking princesses. After being here on Fanpop since few months, my opinions and way of seeing each princess have changed a lot, though not for all princesses. Some have gone from favorite to least favorite while some have been on an opposite ride, altogether. A lot has changed as I have grown up and inclusion of other princesses as well in recent times (Frozen and Brave).

So here's my new ranking list of Disney Princess along with the mention of their original ranking prior joining to Fanpop

I got this idea when I learned that at one point, Disney actually was using some of the princesses in cause advertisements and it got me thinking: If each of the Disney Princesses wanted to select a cause/charity to contribute to, which would it be?

Snow White- Senior Citizens: Snow White ends up homeless after running away from the evil queen and she was fortunate that the 7 dwarfs took her in. This is why I think she would want to help senior citizens the way she did for the dwarfs and the way that they helped her (although they were not senior, they were getting close).

So I've been reading that the "Prettiest Princess" ranking is sort of like a right of passage article that all of the fans here on fanpop do so I figured it was time for my own. Instead of just doing a physical beauty ranking, I wanted to do an overall beauty ranking instead. I personally see ranking women based only on their physical beauty as objectifying them so I am kind of confused that it's not looked at that way here on fanpop? (Not saying this to judge or condone others but just out of genuine curiosity and confusion considering the way some fans have reacted to perceived objectification...

Okay so I tried to seek others' opinions for this who connect with Merida more than I do. I realized that there are articles on here for the ranking of every princess except for Merida and I didn't think there should be any reason for her to be excluded. I always found these articles to be so neat though so I hope the Merida-fans will appreciate this. I'm completely open to any changes with more input.

12. Aurora: General consensus seems to be that Merida would get along with Aurora the absolute least, most likely for their opposite in characters. Aurora rates duty, grace/manners, love/romance...

So while there are a lot of great things that are pointed out about the movie Mulan, there are also things that I haven't seen pointed out yet so I wanted to share.

1. Realistic Representation of Culture: I love that it is not over-Americanized and mostly stays true to Chinese and Asian culture. The most American part of the film is the fact that she thinks she can take a man's place in the army. That and Grandmother Fa's comments in general. Other than that, the movie is pretty accurate to her culture. I find this important because I don't understand the point of showing a different culture...

(DISCLAIMER:I don't hate any princess, I have my least favorites but still..)
13. Elsa








Although I love ALL Disney Princesses I find Elsa to be extremely annoying and overrated. But I can't say that to anyone without them griping at me! Originally Elsa was at number 9 or ten on this list but the fans dropped her down even more. So why else besides fans do I put her here? She can't take responsibility for her actions! She never stood up to anyone and blamed the whole thing on Anna, when it was partially her fault. Elsa should have told Anna at the coronation about her powers, it's not like...

I apologize in advance if I am being harsh, I hate to get all critical about hair but I do it because there's really not that much to say and I'd rather fill in the blank spaces. Anyway, enjoy!

Beast's doesn't even look like hair, more like fur or a greaseball. Which makes sense since he's been an animal for most of the movie... anyway moving on. I don't mind the length at all, it's majestic. Although I still think his hair is awful overall and rightfully deserves last place on my list.

Sequel or original, his hair looks like plastic. People criticize his looks...
