Hello everybody! I got to thinking about the soundtracks to the DP films the other day and decided to write up a list of my favorites. Music has been a big part of my life, and as a result I have a big soft spot for the DP scores and songs. I find that how good a movie's soundtrack is often has a bigger influence on how much I like the film than it would for most other people. There are definitely some noticeable similarities between my favorite DP soundtracks list and favorite DP movies list, although they aren't exactly the same.

I love Disney music. I love the instrumental scores as well as the jolly show tunes songs. (I'm also a sucker for classical.) So I wanted to share with you guys my personal favorites by score, song and overall. (I included Frozen because I would be shocked if they weren't eventually made a part of the Princess franchise even though they've been out for 2 years now.) I love all of these soundtracks and it's hard to pick so I had to use a mathematical formula based on my favorites to come up with the rankings. I provided pictures for which soundtracks I used. It's only two below mine, so ^^ Anyway this'll just be a quick look at some of my lists, no explanations, just giving my lists because I'm still somewhat new here and I'd like for you guys to know my opinions ^^ Anyway here we go! {By the way none of these lists are explicit, I'm unsure on almost all of them}

Favorite DPs (the most relatable to me, and the less problematic for me to admire)

1. Mulan

Mulan was not looking to become a heroine, because she was clumsy and did not fit the strict norms of her society. She manages to defy her clumsy self, and the narrow societal views of women, by bringing honor to her family, and looking for self-actualization.

Ariel has to come to terms with the fact that she has an abusive father, who is very narrow-minded, and sets up a bunch of rules to mask his own fears of the unknown. In order to grow as a...
