Why do we always write our articles together? Because we usually have the same opinions. And there is especially no exception to this one; we agree on almost EVERYTHING. So it was a really long, hard (haha, I said "long" and "hard" again) process, honestly this was the hardest list we've each personally have ever had to put together. BTW, this is not the merging/averages of our lists. This is where we would each individually rank them. Great minds think alike, so that means we're all smarter than you. Don't worry about it, you'll never be smarter, it's okay, you can't expect greatness out of everyone.

I apologize in advance for the bad pictures, I don't have any photo editors on this computer....

10.The Queen

PL: I disliked her, and I was disappointed, because I thought I would like her much more. But we really know absolutely nothing about her personality besides "IIIIIIII HAAAAAAAAAAAAATE SNOOOOOOOOOOOW WHIIIIIIIITE." And also she's an idiot. If she has so many magic spells, surely she can make herself prettier than Snow White rather than go to great lengths to make herself even uglier, kill Snow White, and then be the prettiest again. What, is she going to do that everytime someone is prettier than her?But she does have the funniest line in the movie, which is:....

PPG: THIRSTY?! HAVE A DRINK! (pL: HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH I rewound that part 5 times)Okay, the reason Queen is #10 is because she is so bland to me. For me, this is expected because she is the first Disney Villain ever, so she ended up being a guinea pig of sorts. She creates the opportunity for more interesting and compelling villains, so Queen earns my respect on that level. However, she doesn't really interest me overall. Despite that one part in the dungeon, she is like "meh". Not very clear of a motive, not that developed of a personality...in other words, she is like vanilla ice cream. Vanilla is a nice flavor, but something else needs to be added to give it that extra punch.

9.Lady Tremaine

PL: I thought I would like her more but I didn't. What can I say, I don't like the subtle villains. She had the power to be more epic and she wasn't. And she doesn't come off as that cruel to me. She's super demanding and bossy, sure, but there have been worse parents. She's really unmemorable. She has great outfits though.
I also admire how classy she is. I actually sort of like her as a person hahaha, I don't think she's all that bad. I'd probably be friends with her

PPG: I tried to put her higher. I love how bitchy Tremaine is and how she doesn't use any magic or any real henchmen to cause Cinderella misery. She is cruel and calculating, which I do like in a villain. I especially love her in the scenes when Cinderella's dress is ruined, and when she summons Cinderella into her bedroom after Anastasia freaks out. The problem is, I don't have any real moment of liking her, which is a shame. She has potential, but she falls flat for me. On a positive note, she makes hilarious facial expressions, like her "NOES" face when Cinderella revealed the slipper, and her eyes narrowing when she watches Cinderella go to her room while humming "So This Is Love". However, this is not enough to beat the other 8 above her on this list.

8. Mother Gothel

PL: Knocking off the female villains one by one. Um, she's okay, interesting character but I wouldn't really call her an "evil villain", more just like "whiny drama queen." She makes me laugh sometimes and along with Maximus she saves Tangled from being bland. I like her in Mother Knows Best (Reprise) because she actually seems like a villain. Other than that though, certainly not amazing. Seriously I don't think she's that evil. I agree with whoever said she's more like a bitchy, washed-up broadway star.

PPG: Gothel = one of the saving graces of Tangled. No...really. For some reason she reminds me of an evil Squidward (with Rapunzel as Spongebob lmao) which makes her freaking awesome. She is so flamboyant, and she is entertaining to watch on screen. I really do like her. The thing is, I don't understand certain things relating to her or what she does. For instance, how the hell does she know that Rapunzel is gone after she meets Maximus? Why does she not actually enter the pub during "I Have A Dream" and pull Rapunzel out of there? Stabbing Flynn was a nice touch, and during "Mother Knows Best" (the actual thing and the reprise) she is awesome, but man, she could've done a lot more. Also, she is not as funny. Still, not a bad addition to the DP villains.

7.Dr. Facilier

PL: Yeah, yeah. I know I whined and bitched and moaned about how he was a terrible villain. WELL HE STILL IS! HIS MOTIVE IS MONEY?! THERE ARE EASIER WAYS THEN MARRYING A PRINCESS AND WAITING FOR HER FATHER TO DIE SO YOU CAN GET HER FORTUNE. LAME. AND LAWRENCE WAS UNNECESSARY.
But, but. He may be a terrible villain, but I like him. He's charistmatic, entertaining, subtly funny (not piss-my-pants hilarious, but the whole "I'm royal myself on my mother's side" with the voodoo doll is always funny) and he's got some sweet dance moves. Also he HAS A SHADOW THAT MOVES SEPERATELY FROM HIM. SO COOL. I COULD PULL SO MANY PRANKS WITH THAT SHIT. And the voodoo is really cool. He's a better voodoo doctor than Mama Odie *throws up*. Also he has cool hair and clothes. And he's tall. And he has an awesome voice.

PPG: I have feelings of "Wow, he's awesome!" for Facilier, which is why he is 7th. I love him in the beginning, when he gives the hair growing dust to the bald man, the Shadow with him flipping the coin...and man, oh MAN, he gets to "badass" on my villain meter with "Friends on the Other Side". I even love him near the end when he is with Tiana, when he creates the illusion with her restaurant, the flashbacks...so cruel and awesome. The problem is his defeat and in between that. I mean...why, Facilier, WHY?! What happened?! How did you become so...lame? D: *sighs* With that aside, I do like Facilier. However, he has some kinks that I don't like, such as his want for money (yawn!). I do like how they incorporated the voodoo magic with him though, along with his slyness. It's awesome. So...yeah...Facilier, not too bad at all for a villain.

6.Maleficent

PL: Oh shut up. I know, I always bashed her. Okay I still don't think she's THAT great but she's an excellent villain. The one problem I have with her is that she doesn't look for Aurora herself, she just sits around wondering why she can't find her. Bitch get your ass up and look yourself. But she would have scared me as a kid, I'm sure, and she's a mega bitch when she tells Phillip she'll let him go in a hundred years, hahahah, what a jerk. OH HAI SURE I'LL LET YOU GO IN LIKE A HUNDRED YEARS. PROBLEM? U MAD? JELLY?
(I'd like to take this time to thank the probably 5 people who got the troll joke) TROLOLOLOLO haha what if she sang that. Maleficent: TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOOOO
Yeah, Maleficent is a troll. OH HAI AURORA HERE'S A GIFT. LOL J/K YOU'LL DIE WHEN YOU'RE 16 U MAD?
And the whole dragon thing is pretty cool too, though I still don't get how that little sword killed her, I guess out of ALL THE SPOTS ON HER BODY that ten inches was her one weakness.

PPG: When it comes to the classic DP villains (or Walt era), Malificent is clearly the best to me. Hands down. I love how she is automatically so cruel and evil, and her motive to cause Aurora misery is just because she did not get invited to Aurora's birthday party. I mean...WOW. She also has Tremaine's cunning, which I love, and her awesome powers. She even turns into a giant dragon! What could possibly be more cool than THAT?! I especially love her in the dungeon scene with Phillip, when she explains to him that she is not going to let him die, but she is going to set him free...eventually...after he is an old man, wasting his life away in a cell, so he would be old and saggy when Aurora wakes up. I mean...damn is that cruel or what?! So awesome...however, she cannot beat my top 5.

5.Jafar

PL: JAFAR, JAFAR, HE'S OUR MAN, IF HE CAN'T DO IT, GREAT
Jafar makes me LOLOL. "Your majesty certainly has a way with dumb animals." LOL. Also he has the best sidekick ever. He's a solidly good villain, convincing, not particularly frightening but extraordinarily entertaining. He's a quintessential disney villain. His motives are clear, he is a psycho that pretends to be chill, and he's a creepster. Also he has a beard that looks like curly fries. And he resembles HIM, that gets major points, except Him is 10x better and sexier
(thank you to the 2 people who got the powerpuff girls reference, actually I need to stop thanking people for quasi-unknown references)

PPG: Narrator: Oh no! It can't be! It is the evilest of evil! The cruelest of cruel! It's...it's HI-
NOPE! Wrong villain, Narrator! Take a hike! Narrator: But I could've sworn he -
Nope, sorry. (shoves him off the article, looks at everyone with a sheepish expression)
They do look alike though. XD Anyway, Jafar. I used to like him a lot less, until I watched Aladdin a couple of days ago. He is actually pretty awesome, not to mention funny! He is calculating and so evil, setting Aladdin's death up to upset Jasmine. It was also genius of him (and Iago) to set it up so that Jasmine has to marry HIM. So awesome. I love it. I sincerely enjoy him, until the end, when he becomes an idiot. I mean, really, what was the point of revealing Aladdin to Jasmine? Why didn't he stop and think for a second before wasting his wishes? Oh well...at least he turned into an awesome snake! :D

4.Radcliffe

PL: Time to be the one Radcliffe fangirl, but without the "I want to bone you" aspect. Although one time there was a screencap where I found Radcliffe attractive, it's the pigtails, how can you resist
Radcliffe is hilarious. HILARIOUS. I think I'll just type lines that are funny because he's not a good villain. But the way he says things are hilarious. "SucCESS. will be MIIIIIINE. atlast." LOLOL and pigtails. PIGTAILS!!! HOW CAN YOU TAKE THAT SERIOUSLY?!?! His clothes are bright purple with accented pink, and he enjoys glittering. This is the only time that I like men to sparkle. AND HE SINGS A SONG THAT IS TOTALLY AWESOME. He's got flair ..."And don't think I don't know what those backstabbers at court say about mehhhhhhh. I'm very aware that this is my last chance for glorehhhhhh" LOL
"I'd help you to dig boys, but I've got this CRICK in me SPIIIIIINE."
"AND I'LL BE ON TOP OF THE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEAP" ...hahhahaeh...okay thats awkward.
And he just stands around eating chicken HAHA
"wiggins. WIIIGGGGIIINS!"

PPG: Out of all of the villains, Radcliffe has made the largest jump, from 10th place to 4th. Why? Honestly, if you asked me this a few months ago, you would have me stumped, then I would look at you in disbelief. But he is so HILARIOUS. Part of it is because I can't take him seriously with his pinks bow and pigtails. He looks so absurd, with his girth and hair, just...lol! It's also because of lines he says, such as in "Mine, Mine, Mine": It's glory they'll gimme, my dear friend, King Jimmy, will probably build me a shrine, when all of the gold is mine! ROFLMAO. He is so funny, so ridiculous. I know he is not as badass as other villains, but he is so high on my list because he cracks me up.

----------------------------------------------
PRINCESSLULLABY'S DISCLAIMER: This was honestly the hardest decision I've ever had to made in terms of princess lists. It physically pained me. Ppgbelle4 had to help me for 2 HOURS for me to FINALLY decide. Example of conversation: [corrine=ppgbelle4]

Me:
Ursula is not as epic and awesome as Shan Yu
10:24:34 PM
but Ursula has a cooler personality
10:26:26 PM
im pretty sure gaston is my third
10:26:30 PM
except gaston at the end is awesome!!
10:33:28 PM
Corinne
It seems like you love Shan Yu
10:33:37 PM
Because you say he actually gives you chills.
10:33:38
ME:
false
10:33:39 PM
i love ursula more
10:34:01 PM
but shan yu is more awesome and epic
10:34:02 PM
shan yu amazes me
10:34:02 PM
and then there's gaston!!! D:

So finally, after it came down to her psychoanalyzing my personality. I made my decision. And I'm happy with it, very happy. You will not hear a complaint out of me.

------------------------------------------

3.Gaston
PL: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH I DONT WANT HIM THIS LOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
lol jk but I really really really really love Gaston. He's the best character in BATB. He's funny, he's sexy (irl I would find him repulsive but since it's a disney movie he's fiiiine as hell, he has great outfits and shoulders and I like the way he grips his belt xD)
And his singing voice is TO DIE FOR. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, best disney singing voice, period.
"It's time to take some action boys, it's TIME TO FOLLOW MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!" <---absolutely chilling at that part.
And I love him by the end, he's turned truly into a villain instead of a jerk.
"DID YOU HONESTLY THINK SHE'D WANT YOU, WHEN SHE HAD SOMEONE LIKE ME?" I love that line so much, epitomizes him beautifully. Actually I don't think Gaston is that bad of a guy. He's self-absorbed and narcisistic, but he's polite, strong, hardworking, fun, and would provide. You just have to ignore the terrible personality! Simple!
The only- ONLY - reason why I have him at #3, is because if he wasn't goodlooking (which obviously ties in with his character) I wouldn't like him AS much. And I get really upset when he dies, haha, more than when the Beast dies.

PPG: NO ONE CAN BE NUMBER 3 LIKE GASTON! ...lol Gaston is awesome. But with all seriousness, only two villains beat him in my book. The reason why I love Gaston so much is because of the transformation he makes throughout the film. Gaston first starts off as a refined man loved by all in his village. He is a minor annoyance to Belle, yes, but he is more so a typical gentleman in his town admired by all of the woman. Then, as the movie goes on, he becomes more cruel and calculating, first seen in "Gaston". He then becomes more cruel and evil, more cunning even, and finally in the end becoming more animalistic and aggressive (like the Beast was in the beginning), and the Beast is more like a man. They switch roles, persay, and that is what is so brilliant. I also love Gaston's singing voice, especially in the mob song, when he sings "It's time to follow MEEEEE". So amazing. <3 Overall, Gaston is awesome, but only two villains beat him.

2. PL: Ursula ////// PPG: Shan-Yu

PL: OH, you have no idea how hard of a time I had with this one. Hardest decision I ever had to make, between this and my number one. Ursula, she....is just so fully captivating. I love every single line she utters. Her personality is AMAZING. She's the smartest of the DP villains, in my opinion. She's utterly entertaining, and if I could be a disney villain, I'd probably be her. Her appearance is fantastic, She's funny .."And now, look at me. Wasted away to practically nothing." *is super fat* LOL. And she's smart and has a really well-developed personality. Her voice is fantastic, and I don't know, she seems really real to me, besides being a talking octopus witch. I love her almost as much as Ariel, which is REALLY saying something. I love her more than Eric. ERIC!!!! MY TRUE LOVE!! But he doesn't have a garden of souls, so he loses. And Ursula gets like +1000 points for the Vanessa part, because Vanessa is better than 1/2 of this list and she's in the movie for like what, 2 minutes? Ursula is just absolutely fantastic. I want to be her best friend, lol, but I'm not kidding. I really love Ursula, I love her more than my top villain but my top villain is so admirable and epic to me that they can't be beaten....

PPG: Shan Yu is so freaking epic. Just...man...he is so difficult to put into words, that's how awesome he is to me. His introduction is so amazing, and it sends chills in my spine. Everything he DOES makes my brain go, "OMGWTFBBQ How could he DO that?!" He shows no sign of remorse, even when he holds the little doll in his hand. He is willing to use whatever force necessary to achieve victory. My gosh, his smile is so freaking scary also, and he looks so awesome as he rides on his horse, with his cape/hood flying in the wind with his hawk flying overhead. The only thing that bugs me, however, is how he looses. I just wish he is defeated in a more awesome way than exploding. lol It's almost like a cheap cop out, I guess. Despite this, I think he is one of the best male Disney villains of all time, up there with Frollo. Yeah, that is how awesome he is to me. So, to sum it up, Shan Yu = EPIC WIN.

1. PL: Shan Yu ////// PPG: Ursula

PL: Chilling. That's the best word I can use to describe him. His introduction is absolutely frightening and I love it. To be so utterly powerful and scary that your mere appearance causes people to cower in fear, and strikes a note of horror so deep that they're petrified, I really admire that. Everytime someone says his name... "Shan Yu" in the movie they sound terrified. He doesn't try to trick Mulan, he's never in disguise, he never tries to pretend he's her friend or on the good side. He's not fucking around. And his motive is absolutely fantastic: To him, it's a game. To kill people, murder thousands, for the mere fact that you don't want people to think you're weak (and he damn sure isn't), is so awe-inspiring. I admire Shan-Yu greatly. It's probably not a good idea to admire a villain, but I do. I'll be honest, I like the idea of being so scary that just walking down the street makes people petrified. The idea of having that kind of power-oh, I want it. Ha. And he doesn't have anyone do his dirty work for him, he does it himself. His theme music is epic. His appearance is positively terrifying- have you seen his EYES? And I like that he's not a bully to his men- he treats them with respect. His voice sends shivers. The only small complaint I have is his defeat is lame, it really is. This is one of the times that no matter how much I type, I can never explain how chilling, scary, evil, epic I think Shan Yu is. Unlike the other villains, who seem to have a vendetta against a character, Shan Yu is just born bad.

PPG: If it wasn't for nostalgia, Ursula and Shan Yu would be tied for me. It is because of the memories that I have of Ursula growing up, that she barely managed to beat him. I mean, BARELY. With that aside, Ursula is everything I could ever want in a villain. She is cunning, cruel, calculating, and she is hilarious. She also had back up plans set up in case one backfired, which you rarely see with a villain nowadays, I think. I mean, now a villain would just whine and go, "NO NO NO! WHY?!?!" whereas Ursula would go, "Okay, this is a setback, but we can still do this... *insert evil grin here*" Ursula is also not afraid to get down and dirty to get what she needs done, and if she needs to, she can go and get what she needs to get done herself, without relying too much on side kicks. She also, unlike many of the villains here, have a clear motive and a good reason for her evilness. Her background with being in Triton's palace, being kicked out and wanting to get back into it as queen is amazing. It makes her more relateable as a character, even. I guess, generally, what wins me over with Ursula is how captivating she is on screen, how seductive she is, and how well she adapts to any situation. And that, my dear DP community, is why Ursula is number 1 for me.

Princesslullaby's Epilogue of coming to the conclusion of Shan Yu:

Me: 1. Shan Yu 2. Ursula 3. Gaston

Frozen is a Disney animated film that I kind of like. When I say kind of, what I actually mean is that I love it! It's a film that I've seen more times than anybody probably should. I used to watch this film more than once a week. It's a film that quickly grew quite the fanbase. I was certainly one of those fans that quickly got attached to the film.

Frozen centers around the bond between two princess sisters, who are named Anna and Elsa, that go on quite a unique adventure. Elsa was born with ice powers, but she's been ordered to keep that a secret. However, when Anna attempts to marry a prince...

This is another Mary Sue test. I decided to do Elsa after Anna. I think she's accused of being a Mary Sue more (though neither of them are accused much).

Unique traits without contacts or hair dye- Platinum blonde hair isn't super common, though it can be explained by her ice powers (but it isn't made clear that's the explanation like with Rapunzel). .5

Hello everyone! Sorry the article is so late getting up this year. I was busy with the holidays, then work and then I got sick. It just seemed like one thing after another kept coming up. So again, I apologize, and at least it's up now.

Anyway, before we get started let me give you a brief run down of the Meet the DP Fans articles, in case you happen to new to the club and/or unfamiliar with them. These articles have been done in past by a few other users to showcase some of the current Disney Princess fans. Now, obviously, there are many other members in this club, besides the ones listed...

Dungeons & Dragons (or D&D for short) is a super fun tabletop roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. According to each of my articles, you can conclude that I like the classics less than the modern ones. But still, that doesn't mean I HATE the classics, on the contrary, I do love them. They just pale in comparison to the moderns. My favorite classic and renaissance princesses are Ariel and Belle. I like these two, but it is a pity that they are inferior to modern ones.

Why I love Belle: Belle is my sixth favorite princess and I think she'll be the fifth to replace a modern. Moana doesn't seem as great to me anymore, so Moana is down to five, but she can swap places with Belle at any time. Belle...

I posted a poll two weeks ago, and the poll was like this:

"Scar vs. Dr. Facilier who is a better villain?"

And the result was Scar. In fact, the two villains have a lot of similarities. So much so that you may be surprised. However, I watched the two movies back to back and now I see the incredible similarities between them.

SIMILARITY:

1- They both want to rule a place, Facilier is New Orleans and Scar is Pride Rocks.

2- Both do their evil by using someone else, Scar is the hyenas, and Facilier is his friends on the other side.

3- Both of them died by their sidekicks. Scar was killed by hyenas,...

Look, she is pretty!
Look, she is pretty!
I analyzed Charlotte in my last article, and from now on I will analyze young princesses whose value has been forgotten. Today I, elsafan1010, will share with you the Megara analysis.

Characteristics
One of the things that makes Megara different from other princesses is that she is "cool". Yes, being a slave doesn't make you cool, but once you see Megara's look, it may be hard to believe that she's working for someone else. Megara is self-confident and does not trust love. Because Megara previously had problems with love life and she thinks others will break her too. Megara doesn't want any help...

Ariel blonde, so pretty! Prettier then Belle and Aurora!
My last article was about the eye colors of Disney princesses, but today I'm focusing on the hair. Ariel has red hair that no princess has ever had. Red hair looks great on Ariel, but blonde hair... It suits her better than red hair. Blonde hair pairs perfectly with her light blue eyes. Straw yellow color is the best! Here are some gifs that prove it now.
This time with black eyes but still amazingly beautiful

" Look at me, aren't I am pretty, so blonde?"
" Look at me, aren't I am pretty, so blonde?"
Mulan is considered a Disney princess and I find that ridiculous because if Mulan is a Disney princess why not Elsa and Anna? Mulan has the characteristics of a hero and a princess, but there is a reason that prevents her from being a princess.
Although she is friends with an emperor, that does not make her a princess. Either she would be a royal by birth, or she would marry a prince and earn the title of princess. Being a hero doesn't make a princess, does it? This is really silly. There are a lot of other female characters at Disney who do great heroics, but they're not even one step closer to being princesses. What a great injustice. What a pity. While I love Mulan, Mulan is overrated.
So...I begin this by saying that I am an adult fan of Ariel. Impacted by The Little Mermaid from the age of 9, I am an adult collector, and I currently have Ariel ALL OVER my adult bedroom.

I commend author Liz Braswell on her "nods" to the elements found in the original 1989 film that is known world over. Some passages of the book she has written made sense to me, while other parts did not. *Eric getting a tattoo was not one of my stand-out favorite moments, and it jarred with all of the proceeding characterization given to him by the author*

I suppose, for those who didn't love Ariel's original...

Hey, guys! Happy beginning of Autumn! Anyway, a few weeks ago, I decided that I would maybe think about rewatching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for the first time in nearly five years. Okay, not all of them because with online school, play practice, reading, baking, and cooking, I probably don't have time for that.
