Hi!
In this article I will be posting which Princess do I relate to the most. This took a few days and it was extremely hard to do but I think it's accurate for me. Since I'm a guy, I relate mostly to their personalities and relationships with their families. Hope you enjoy reading it! ^^

#12 – Tiana
Similarities:
I have big dreams; I think I'm quite good at cooking too. But other than that, zero in common.
Differences: Her relationship with both of her parents is better than mine. I'm more romantic and not as bitter as her when it comes to finding love. I don't think it all depends on you when reaching success, sometimes luck and help are needed! These are only the main ones, there's probably more...

#11 – Merida
Similarities:
A difficult relationship with my strict mother. I love being around nature (especially forests) and I would love to visit Scotland's landscapes.
Differences: Not as impulsive (sometimes I am, but certainly not for the most part) or proud. Not really athletic, brave nor mischievous. Basically everything else.

#10 – Moana
Similarities:
A lovely relationship with my grandparents. I'm curious yet responsable. The thing with Moana is that, since she's kinda a mix of the previous princesses, she has qualities of them that I relate to, but also others that I don't relate to at all.
Differences: I'm definitely not cookie-cutter flawless like her. Not as rebellious, determined and certainly not as fond of my homeland as she is. She could well switch places with #9 tho.

#9 – Jasmine
Similarities:
I guess people would consider me to be kinda flirty (though not as much as her, I think). I certainly have a temper but not the same as her. I can't really think of any more similarities.
Differences: I'm not as outspoken, agressive and impulsive. I couldn't face people the way she did.

I relate to the next three but not to the degree of the 5 first ones.

#8 – Pocahontas
Similarities:
I love nature, being in forests and streams, and I'm very concerned about it. I have a lovely relationship with all of my grandparents, like her with Grandmother Willow. I'm a very peaceful person and I have a hard time making choices.
Differences: As much as I love rivers, I definitely wouldn't jump off a cliff for fun. Not as daring and adventurous as she is. I admire her, rather than relating to her.

#7 – Snow White
Similarities:
I'm kind, romantic and I dream of finding true love. I can cook and clean. I'm usually soft-spoken and gentle to animals and strangers. I can imagine whole lives ahead with a cute person I just met lol.
Differences: Not as sugary-sweet, naive and optimistic. Not really as bossy and manipulative as her either. I LOVE APPLES (xD). Snow White was probably the hardest Princess to place in the list.

#6 – Mulan
Similarities:
I often feel like I disappoint my parents. I'm not as masculine as society would expect me to be (though I would also be hella uncomfortable if I crossdressed lol). Like I said, the relationship with my grandparents (but both of my grandmas remind me more of Grandmother Willow than Grandmother Fa). She made it higher than Pocahontas and Snow White because I relate a lot to the lyrics of “Reflection”.
Differences: Not as resourceful, brave or clumsy. I would have never made the choice she made, going to war instead of my father (I would try to find another way to prevent it but not that one). Like with Pocahontas, I admire her more than I relate to her.

The first 5 places were predictable, I think. They share many qualities between them and also with me. All of them could switch placements, but right now I think they'd be like this.

#5 – Ariel
Similarities:
As I said before, I'm romantic and flirty. I also long for knowledge and exploring different lands, I'm quite curious. I guess I'm stubborn, too. People say I shouldn't complain about my life since “I have everything other people can only dream of”, but I want more than that. My relationship with my father is very similar to Ariel and Triton's (he even once destroyed a collection of DVDs I had). Speaking of collections, I like to collect different things as well, especially marine fossils.
Also, I once saw a post that said that “Part of Your World” could represent depression, and I really felt that. What would I give if I could live out of these waters? What would I pay to spend a day warm on the sand? This sole reason makes her a lot more relatable to me.
Differences: I'm more cautious than her, and not as reckless, rebellious and impulsive. I would have definitely read Ursula's scroll before signing it.

#4 – Cinderella
Similarities:
I'm a daydreamer and I think that keeping on believing is important for dreams to come true. Waiting for the day I leave home and start a life anew. I have a similar sense of humor to her, while still being soft-spoken and reserved. I often clean my house (which I rarely leave) and help feeding the hens and dogs. My mother rarely lets me go to events on my own. Also, my mother has a fat, black cat who seems to think I'm his servant lol (still love him though, he's a sweetie <3)
Differences: I wouldn't have the courage to defy my mother to let me go out of home if she said no. And while I can be quite patient, I'm certainly not as much as her.

#3 – Belle
Similarities:
Physical appearance (hazel eyes and brown hair; my hair is darker than hers tho, and I lack the beauty xD). I'm introverted and a bookworm. I live in a little, boring town when I want so much more. I see the good in people. I guess people would say that I'm intelligent (though I think that being book-smart isn't the only thing that makes you intelligent) but they'd also say I'm really different from them. I may have fallen a little bit out of love with Belle but I still relate to her a lot.
Differences: My relationship with my father is not as good as hers. And though I love her, she can be a bit arrogant sometimes, and I'm not really that.

#2 – Rapunzel
Similarities:
My relationship with my overprotective mother (who acts almost just like Gothel). I spend most of the time at home, feeling trapped, because of the previous reason. I feel guilty whenever my mother plays the victim card. Other than that, I'm creative and I can do a lot of things: playing chess (though I haven't done it in quite some time), cooking, playing instruments, reading, writing, drawing, painting, etc. I'm interested in astronomy and geography. My mood changes quite easily.
Differences: Not as cheerful and optimistic, quite the opposite in fact. And I don't think a whole town would find me that charming to randomly start dancing with me xD

#1 – Aurora
Similarities:
I'm not being biased, it's kinda the other way around - most of the reasons why she's my favourite (or at least one of them) is because of how much I relate to her. I'm shy, introverted, peaceful. Like I said numerous times, I'm really romantic and I dream of finding true love. I like wandering in nature (forests and streams). I tend to be a pessimistic and see the empty side of the glass (like when Aurora was told her real identity). I have a sense of duty and, though sometimes I do take risky choices, I always try to do the right thing even if it's not what I want. I'm also insecure, and like I said for Rapunzel, I can change my mind very quickly (like when Aurora flees from Phillip). And as I said for Ariel, I thought Maleficent's spell could represent depression.
Differences: Though I always try and I think I can pull it off, sometimes I don't have as much control over my emotions (I'm like Elsa in that sense).

Hope you liked reading it! :)

Hey guys :) I've been active on this spot for a while so I thought I should write an article. I decided to start with this since everyone wrote these kind of articles.

Basic Info:
My name is Dania Murad and I was born on November 23, 1999. I am 14 years old. Currently, I live in Canada with my parents and my 8 year-old sister.

My favorite Disney things:
If you didn't know, I really love Frozen. It's my favorite movie and it has my favorite Disney Princess (Elsa) and it's high on most of my lists, but it's not always first. I also really love Tangled, Brave and PatF. So basically all the modern...

To start Mary-Sue is thrown around not only on the Disney Princess club, but almost everywhere whenever it comes down to the Disney Princesses. The correct definition to Mary-Sue is a perfect female character who doesn't try to be perfect, but naturally is. Like a Renaissance Man, yet doesn't fail at least while trying.
Some have been saying Classics, or Walt Disney's princesses, Belle and Rapunzel are Mary-Sues, plus more. I very much disagree.

The most common areas to be considered Mary-Sues are:
Snow White
Cinderella
Aurora
Ariel (on the occasion)
Belle
Rapunzel

There are so many reasons they...

It looks like everybody has done a list with the favourites scenes so I decided to make one too. I haven't included Frozen because there are still many people that haven't seen it. Anyway, enjoy!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Ending Scene

I'm not sure about my choice because the last time I saw the movie I was 6 years old, so... Anyway, the animation is stunning when they walk away and you see the castle. I find that scene very romantic and sweet and I believe that Snow White totally deserves her happy ending.

Cinderella
So this is love

Soo romantic! I love the animation and the atmosphere...

As I was creating my icons for Team Merida, I realised exactly why I loved this girl. As a result, I decided to write an article with 5 reasons why everybody should love Merida/Brave

1. Brave was the first Pixar film that had a female protagonist.

Pixar is a hugely successful company, but it took about 8 years since they first started making films for them to make a movie where the main character was a girl. Before Brave was made, I was slightly annoyed at Pixar - most of it's films didn't even pass the Bechdel test. I love Brave because it finally featured an awesome female character.

What do you mean it took 8 years to have a female protagonist? That's so dumb!
What...
