On the Third Day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,

Three fairy spells,
Two lucky pals,
and the wisdom of an old tree.

Another day, another page for the calendar. And unlike the last one, this one was kind of a headache for me. Remember a while back when I asked you which princess fits which months? Most of you felt that Merida belongs into autumn because of her red hair. Thing is: I already had three princesses for autumn. In addition, I don't think that Brave is actually set in fall, I think it is either spring or summer during the movie. So I hope that you are not too disappointed that I ended up putting her into March:

Part of the reason was the holiday I picked for March. Yes, I know, Merida is from Scotland, St.Patrick's Day is an Irish celebration. But at least there are shared Celtic roots between those two cultures, which made Merida a better pick to represent this particular month than any other princess. Plus, I was actively looking for a Scottish holiday which is celebrated at least in the whole of Scotland at a specific day and came up mostly blank. The highland games, which come pretty close to what is shown in Brave, don't happen on a specific day, but are spread out over spring, summer and early autumn, with events happening in different cities to different times. So all in all, this calendar page is a little bit of a compromise, but I hope you enjoy it nevertheless. And the wallpaper, which are already uploaded in the image section. Oh, and I naturally did an icon with Merida in St. Patrick's Style, too.

The gold version of her was another headache, because there simply aren't any pictures of Merida wearing gold. I hope, you enjoy the solution I came up with.

And I naturally did a "name only" version, too:

The goddess I felt would be best represented by her is Artemis/Diana. So behold, Merida, the goddess of hunt and the wilderness. Also of chastity which I guess, would fit Merida, but let's not go overboard, I don't think that we need a goddess of chastity in modern times. Maybe the goddess of proud singles instead?

Finally I created a banner. Frankly...not my best work. I just have trouble to work with material from Brave. But I hope you enjoy it nevertheless.

I dedicate this poem to all of you, who like myself, still believe. I love you all!

We’ve been fascinated with them since we were little girls.
Back when we wore our hair in ribbons and curls.
We longed to go to a fancy ball and wear a pretty dress.
Now our lives are full of worry and stress.
All we wanted was to be like the Princess in our favorite story,
A place filled with nothing but glory.
A place where true loves kiss can break the most evil of spells.
A land of happily ever afters and wedding bells.
Where the glass slipper always fits,
And a handsome Prince who finds it easy to commit.
It’s...

Sleeping Beauty was released on January 29, 1959 and was made due to the overwhelming success of Cinderella. Therefor the Disney Studios got right to work revisiting the fairy tale formula and developing a new version of the classic story. It was decided early on that this film would have to surpass its predecessing fairy tale films.

Snow White

■In The Muppets at Walt Disney World, Snow White was the Disney character who had the biggest part in the story, besides Mickey Mouse.

■In 1988, Snow White was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

■Snow White is the first Disney Princess, being the main character of Disney's...

Another fun idea that came to mind, we take two princesses see just how much they have in common. I wanted Pocahontas and Rapunzel first because Punz is a pretty good balance of qualities found in the classic, renaissance and revival princesses so it's easy to do this with her. Plus, it's a very common misconception that Poca is just this peaceful spiritual wise soul, and that's only half of her personality. What better way to debunk that than to compare her to the one of the bubbliest princesses

At first glance because Pocahontas looks mature and Rapunzel looks youthful, some would assume...

I was in a mood to do a ranking list, so I thought I should make a list of my top 10 scenes from DP movies. So, here we go.

10. Cinderella - waking up
Have you ever seen anyone waking up so gorgeous. Her elegance is to die for. She's looking adorable and elegant all at once, with her piggytails. I love how she flips over and puts pillow overhead, not wanting to wake up from the dream. And isn't she cute, not telling the dream to the birdie friends. I like how she was so much in the moment, holding a pillow. And then, old killjoy strikes, haha! I love how she gave us a peak into her other side,...
