Everyone has their personal ranking of their favorite Disney Princessess n thoughts of who should b included. In my eyes, this is the ranking of the maidens from the house of mouse:

15. Aurora, indeed the sleeping beauty is beautiful, elegant, n has a heavenly opera voice, unfortunately she has little agency in her own story n personality.

14. Anna, a spunky n cute go getter but most of the other princesses that have come before her have these traits checked off too.

13. Moana, a real cookie cutter of a modern disney princess, she is pretty much just an ethnic variation of Anna but is ahead one spot bcuz it's always nice to see some more diversity in the lineup.

12. Merida, though she can come off as a bit bratty, this ruff n tumble princess' sheer determination to change her fate demands to be appreciated.

11. Elena, unknown to the general social conciousness n unrecognized as an official Disney Princess, this Hispanic princess is a neccessary entry as she not only offers additional cultural flavor, but also bcuz she is bold, daring, n admits to her own faults, quick to b humbled to find the inner fortitude to improve on herself for the sake of her kingdom of Avalor.

10. Snow White, she may b a bit outdated but her endearing charms, enduring optimism n enchanting innocence makes her precious n unforgettable.

9. Pocahontas, a spiritual n passionate dreamer who struggles between being loyal to her people n herself but she manages to find the spirit to understand n honor both.

8. Rapunzel, quirky, multi-talented, and armed wit an infectious exuberance for life, this lost princess stays convicted to her promises n plans n never loses sight of what is right.

7. Tiana, an industrious n diligent young woman who isnt the least bit intimidated of hardwork. Independent n goal driven, she does need to b reminded to stop n smell the roses, but that's how dedicated she can be to achieving her dreams.

6. Elsa, while she does exhibit exceptional intelligence and grace, she does burden herself wit crippling selfdoubt, something I feel is very tangible for most of us if not all, but she does find the strength to let that selfdoubt go n become someone much more confident n inspirational.

5. Mulan, a clumsy but generous n resourceful maiden who wishes to b true to herself while bringing honor to all she holds dear. She holds her community in high regard, esp her family, so much so that she will put the needs of others before herself, even if it means going head first into war.

4. Cinderella, though she lives an unjust life, the high levels of resiliency, grace, n healthy sprinkling of pluck she manages to maintain against all the hardships is impressive. She reminds us that there is a light at the end of the dark tunnel, just as long as u can keep that light burning bright from within.

3. Jasmine, as fierce as she is beautiful, this fiery princess seems to b perfectly aware of her own prowess as she refuses to be a prized possession to b kept hidden away from the world. She is a fast learner n quick to improvise with her feminine charms n timeless wits in any sticky situation.

2. Ariel, an adventurous mermaid who knows exactly what she wants n how to get it, even if it means making a deal wit a devil. She isnt perfect, n who is esp at the age of 16, but damn if her part of that world segment doesnt just ignite the soul.

1. Belle, a true beauty beyond the superficial, this french maiden seems unphased wit her outer appearance as she concentrates on the innerworkings of books, supporting her father's work, n is not shy to speak her mind. Curious of what the world can offer beyond the traditional roles we r conditioned to accept, she is brave enough to walk down a dark, gothic hallway to either save a loved one or quench her inquisitive mind.
The Little Mermaid is a 2023 live-action film that's a remake of 1989's Little Mermaid animated film. Live-action Disney remakes have gotten a lot of mixed reception. They tend to make lots of money, but they also tend to get mixed reviews. When it comes to the remakes, I've enjoyed a fair number of them. I didn't care for some of them, such as Aladdin, Lady and The Tramp and Mulan. However, there have been some remakes that I enjoyed, such as Cinderella, Dumbo and both Maleficent films. Also, the live-action Disney Alice in Wonderland films are two of my favorite films.

Mermaids are something...

The first Frozen film made such a big impact on me that I became very excited for a sequel. The sequel ended up coming out about six years after the first film. This was because the makers of Frozen planned on Frozen being a standalone story. However, after coming up with an idea that they thought was good enough, they decided to make a second film. I'm so glad that they made the decision to do that.

In the second film, Elsa has started hearing a mysterious voice. She attempts to find out where the voice is coming from. In the process of doing so, she gets into contact with the spirits of the...

Frozen is a Disney animated film that I kind of like. When I say kind of, what I actually mean is that I love it! It's a film that I've seen more times than anybody probably should. I used to watch this film more than once a week. It's a film that quickly grew quite the fanbase. I was certainly one of those fans that quickly got attached to the film.

Frozen centers around the bond between two princess sisters, who are named Anna and Elsa, that go on quite a unique adventure. Elsa was born with ice powers, but she's been ordered to keep that a secret. However, when Anna attempts to marry a prince...

The tenth Mary Sue test. This one is for Mulan, who's called a Mary Sue sometimes (mostly by people who are bitter about her popularity, but they kind of have a point, especially with how she's always portrayed as superior to all the other princesses).

Unique traits without contacts or hair dye- Nope, she has black hair and brown eyes, common Chinese features.
An odd name- No. Actually, I'm not sure, but I'll just assume 'Mulan' is a common Chinese name.
Looks constantly commented on- No, at least not about how beautiful she is.
Always the hero- Definitely. It's kind of a given considering her...

Nearly all princesses, they have love interests. Although I am really into romance, I admire some of the couples. I love Ariel & Eric, but my favorite couple is Rapunzel & Flynn. Anyway let me not mess the topic.

One of the most admired princesses is a strawberry blonde, hardworking girl with diamond blue eyes, she is so kind to animals ; Its Cindy! Cinderella I mean. Cinderella's love interest is Prince Charming. But I really don't like them as a couple and here are some reasons why:

1~ Charming doesn't deserve Cinderella

As I said, Cinderella is a hardworking, nice, kind girl while Charming...

Mulan is considered a Disney princess and I find that ridiculous because if Mulan is a Disney princess why not Elsa and Anna? Mulan has the characteristics of a hero and a princess, but there is a reason that prevents her from being a princess.
Although she is friends with an emperor, that does not make her a princess. Either she would be a royal by birth, or she would marry a prince and earn the title of princess. Being a hero doesn't make a princess, does it? This is really silly. There are a lot of other female characters at Disney who do great heroics, but they're not even one step closer to being princesses. What a great injustice. What a pity. While I love Mulan, Mulan is overrated.

I've always loved Rapunzel, she's number four on my favorite princess list. But some people don't agree with me so I'll explain that.

Why people dislike Rapunzel:

1- They see Rapunzel as someone who can do anything, they look for flaws
I cant believe! Why do people see Rapunzel as a completed character? Hobbies and resourcefulness don't make her a do-it-all. For example, I swim, write stories, play the piano, take singing lessons, take a software course, but that doesn't mean I'm perfect or boring. On the contrary, it makes me an influential person and a colorful personality.

2- People hate Rapunzel's...

So...I begin this by saying that I am an adult fan of Ariel. Impacted by The Little Mermaid from the age of 9, I am an adult collector, and I currently have Ariel ALL OVER my adult bedroom.

I commend author Liz Braswell on her "nods" to the elements found in the original 1989 film that is known world over. Some passages of the book she has written made sense to me, while other parts did not. *Eric getting a tattoo was not one of my stand-out favorite moments, and it jarred with all of the proceeding characterization given to him by the author*

I suppose, for those who didn't love Ariel's original...

I haven't written an article for two days, let's say I couldn't finish it. Actually, I had an article for you that ranked princess hair from worst to best, but I thought you might not like it. So I have a better idea. This article is about changing the colors of Rapunzel and Ariel. Their hair, lips and eyes.

I actually love their color palettes/some of my favorite princesses/, and I'm writing this article just for fun. Let's start with Rapunzel.

Naturally, Rapunzel has golden hair and green eyes. But now let's try Ariel's color palette. Let Rapunzel have red lipstick, red hair, and blue eyes....

I LITTERALLY just got done watching the movie, and I must say-I was pleasantly surprised. Disney really got creative with this one. I see it winning some Academy Awards next year. That was just a bit of what I thought all together. Now, let's get to the real deal.

The animation:

I like how they used what looked like some 2D animation in the beginning and during some parts of the movie. It gives, not only me, but I'm sure a bunch of you, hope that 2D animation isn't dead. I also liked how they all these rainbow like colors when the dragons get resurrected. (Am I the only one who was obsessed with...
