I Know Why the Princess Sings
I Know Why the Princess Sings
Just as Cinderella graciously bids good morning with such romantic fervor, Snow White sends well wishes that are not unlike the dreams of love and hope Aurora has sung of before. While Belle muses of the great wide beyond her poor provincial place and Jasmine bemoans her gilded palace cage, the restless twain are armed with the familiar faith Tiana holds to as she prays her labors and pains will bear fruit someday. Facing profound confliction, Mulan ponders upon her contrasting reflection just as Pocahontas meditates on which path is true to imitate. Sure as light, Elena's valor takes flight and shines the way creating monumental waves of resplendent change like Moana who triumphantly proclaims her own name with the same level of conviction Merida conveys as she opposes her would be fate. Inspired with a great exuberance to live, Rapunzel leaps into the unknown, Anna seizes her moment, Elsa discovers the strength to relinquish her fears, and dear Ariel dares to reach beyond her great barrier reef. Dare to Dream, Keep in Mind Your Strengths and Reach for the Stars for to Work is to Pray +_0

Chapter seven

When Ariel and Andrina came home, the family tuned up their ears on Ariel's story. Ariel glowed as she told them her tale. She made sure to skip a few events that mentioned anything happening between her and Eric such as how warm and soft his hand felt when they shook hands. When she came to the part about the job offer, her sisters felt happy for her,but her father raised an eyebrow, and Flounder frowned.

"Wow! That's great, Ariel!" said Arista. The other sisters nodded in agreement.

"Thanks," Ariel smiled. Nobody noticed Flounder looking down at the ground with his arms crossed....

Chapter 5

Like Eric, everybody else went to sleep. However, there is one person that did not go to bed.

"AAAAAAAARRRRRRGH! I can't believe this!" A deep female voice screeched. Ursula came home late at midnight, stomping inside her house.

"What is, Ursula?" A young whispery male voice asked. His name is Flotsam. He was a lanky man around 29 with dark blonde hair, and dressed up in all green. Another guy, standing next to him, is his brother, Jetsam, who is also tall and lanky and dressed up in green clothing, only with dark brown hair.

Call me Anne. I wouldn't say my age because you would be embarrassed but think older then Elsa. I loved the 90s princess (Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, and Mulan) since I identify with them a lot. When I was in elementary&High school I did get bullied but that's a long time ago now. I love some of the articles I have read here on this site specifically the ones arguing about Cinderella not waiting around for a Prince to save her. Did you know that it took from the 1800s to the 1912 before Snow White's and Cinderella's respective stories overlapped? And in the 1913 some guy who had the last name Powers who would later help Disney with Steamboat Willie made his own film version of Snow White and borrowed the True Love Kiss from either Grimms' Briar Rose or Perrault's Beauty in the Woods.

Hello everyone! I'm Veronica (a.k.a. ApplesauceDoctr :D), and hey, it's been a little while since I've written an article. It feels good to get back into the spirit of writing. :D
So, what have I today? As you can see, I'll be analyzing the song "Reflection" from Disney's Mulan. I made a lyric video for it about a week ago and realized just how deep the song is! However, in this analysis, I'll also be taking a look at the extended version of the song. It shows a different side of Mulan that...well, you'll see soon enough.

Alright then! Let's take a listen to Reflection!

Movie Version
