My Top Five Favorite Disney Princess Songs

With Disney's Moana coming up, I'm so pumped up for more princess stuff. It inspired me to make an article about my favorite songs of all the movies. And be reminded, I love all the songs; these are just my top favorite. Enjoy! xx

5. Tale As Old As Time

Most people would probably go for "Something There," but, to be honest, this song is so beautiful. When I first watched it, I could feel the chemistry between Belle and the Beast and it literally made me so happy. The background is beautiful, the dancing is so precious, and Angela Lansbury's voice is perfect for this part. I would've cried, but I was a 5 year old with no emotions.

4. Colors of the Wind

Yeah, yeah, I know. This song should be higher up. Hear me out. I actually only watched this when I was about 11, so, obviously, the other movies had a greater impact on me. However, this song is, without a doubt, one of the most touching songs I've ever heard. The lyrics are so deep and that's what I normally look for. So even though it's not higher up on the list, it's definitely got the most affecting lyrics (in my opinion).

3. Once Upon a Dream

I remember not caring so much for this movie when I was younger, especially since I loved the other Disney Princess's voices over this. More recently, though, after accidentally stumbling upon it, I realized just what a beautiful song this really is. And I also really love Lana Del Ray's version of it; I like how haunting her voice is.

2. Part of Your World

You have no idea how much I loved this movie as a child. I literally fantasized about being a mermaid and having an angelic voice up until I was... maybe 10? And I may not have the best voice ever, but I know all the lyrics to every song in the Little Mermaid franchise. I would replay the movie over and over because of how much I loved it. I think Sebastian's songs were always my favorites. You'd think I'd place this song at the top of the list. Hehe, you thought wrong.

This song is lit! Hee-ya! Whoo! Fight 'em! Fight 'em all! Go, Mulan, baby! Li Shang ripped af omg.

"I See the Light" ~ Tangled

Cute scene. And those lanterns. Aww.

Do you know how awesome this song is??? Aladdin and Jasmine travel the world on a magic carpet. How cool is that?? Also, Lea Salonga is so talented, oh my God. I swear, I'd kill to have her voice. I'm joking. Or am I...? No, really, this is amazing. The princess and the street-rat go on a world tour. This is so romantic!!!

Yeah, so you may not agree with my list, but you have to admit that these songs are cool!

MaidofOrleans Great list! I think my favorite of these is Colors of the Wind. Like you I look for deep lyrics that resonate with me, and this song is just phenomenal! Omg I used to pretend to be a mermaid with a luscious singing voice as well! I would seriously spend half my time as a kid wandering around and dreamily singing Part of Your World. XD For some reason I've never been a big fan of A Whole New World. I'm not sure what it is about it, but it just doesn't do it for me. I think it might be because I never actually saw the film until I was sixteen or seventeen. It's probably my least favorite of all the DP love songs, although it's still cute. Also haha that commentary about I'll Make a Man Out of You XD Haha love it! Awesome article!

I think the reason I like it is because I recently saw Lea Salonga and Brad Kane singing it after 23 years and it made my heart clench. So it's very special to me :)

This song is very romantic, I think I would die if a guy sung this to me. If only there was someone out there who loved me... the same way Prince loves Snow White *tear* Not to mention Prince has the voice of an angel who has fallen from the sky.

Cinderella - A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes
This is a very soothing and relaxing song. But what makes me love it is that it makes me hope for a better tomorrow, just like the lyrics suggest. It makes me feel all tingly and happy inside!

Poor Aurora. Although Aurora is Fanpop's least outspoken DP, she is known for her amazing grace, beauty, and charm. She is known for being kind to others. It is also very good that not all the DP's are outspoken because it makes each of them different.

Why Snow White and Cinderella are my favorite princesses

I was thinking about it today, and I realized that my favorite princess was either Snow White or Cinderella. Why? Because Snow White and Cinderella are both utterly oblivious. Snow, even after almost being killed, still keeps a cheery attitude. She seems to almost forget that The Queen is trying to slaughter her. It's like Snow White doesn't think about anything that's not in front of her very eyes. She remains mindlessly happy while dressed in rags and forced to act as a servant.

I was thinking I love most DP dresses so why not not share what i think with you! Let's get started!
1. Elsa
Elsa's dresses are all different in their own way. Elsa starts out in a blueish purpleish dress that suits her personality. My Frozen Review

OK, I just got finished watching Frozen and what did I think about it?

It. Was. GREAT!!!

Let me start off with the animation. Fantastic. The visuals are stunning, especially when Elsa uses her powers. Hell, she practically steals the show in this category. The lighting and brightness in this film were great; during the dark and light scenes to be specific.
