Hi everybody!

In this article, I'll be pairing each Disney Princess with a celebrity active during the time of the DP's movie release.

Snow White: Gene Tierney

They both have roundish faces, dark hair, a cute smile, and a reputation for outstanding beauty.

Cinderella: Grace Kelly

They both have blonde hair (albeit Cinderella is more of a strawberry blonde), and similar noses IMO. And both are icons of elegance.

Aurora: Kim Novak

It was actually very hard to determine who Aurora's double would be. There were so many blonde actresses in the 1950s - mainly because movie studios were hiring people who looked similar to Marilyn Monroe in order to compete. But in the end I settled on Kim Novak. Aurora and Kim Novak both have light blonde hair in addition to chiseled faces with high cheekbones and similar noses.

Ariel: Brooke Shields

Both of them have insanely voluminous hair (Brooke's is red in some photos but not in others), small noses, and stunning blue eyes.

Belle: Mia Sara

I was trying to decide between Roxane Mesquida, Winona Ryder, and Ashley Greene, when I found Mia Sara by accident. Her hair, eyes, and face shape look uncannily like Belle's.

Jasmine: Mona Zaki

I had a lot of issues finding a '90s celebrity who really looked like Jasmine, but I think this Egyptian actress has a similar nose and face shape to Jasmine.

Pocahontas: Brenda Schad

They both have a tan complexion, full lips, and a strong jawline - and they're both Native American, which helps.

Mulan: Kim Yuna

It took me an unbelievably long time to find somebody who looked like Mulan - the most time out of anybody on this list. I think Kim Yuna is a good match, though. They both have almond-shaped eyes, a similar face shape, and similar noses. And Kim Yuna is also a gold medalist in Olympic figure skating, which corresponds a bit with Mulan's athleticism in battle.

Tiana: Lupita N'yongo

They both have the same dark-chocolate-colored complexion, full lips, and similar noses.

Rapunzel: Anna Sophia Robb AND Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried

I feel like Anna's nose is more like Rapunzel's than Amanda's is, but that Amanda's chin is more like Rapunzel's than Anna's is. At any rate, both of these actresses have long blonde hair, heart shaped faces, and large green eyes.

Merida: Lily Cole

A curly mane of red hair, freckles, blue eyes, round face shape... I can't get over the likeness.

Anna: Olesya Kharitonova

Anna and this Russian model both have reddish hair (Olesya's is red, while Anna's is strawberry blonde), blue eyes, a heart-shaped face, freckles, and a small nose.

Elsa: Sasha Pivovarova

Platinum blonde hair, blue eyes, an almost identical nose ... and to top it off, Sasha's from Norway, where Frozen takes place.

Hope you liked my article and please feel free to comment.

The reason I wrote this article is because people always talk about classic disney princesses and forget about live action princesses. My favorite live-action princesses are Audrey and Mal. Yes, no matter how bad Audrey is, she will always be my favorite villain.

Audrey is Aurora's daughter. I saw a poll last night. The question in the poll was:
Do you like Audrey more or Aurora?
I chose Aurora because Aurora was a good person. But now I realize how wrong I was. Aurora is so boring, all she does is cry and wake up with graceful gestures and kisses. However, Audrey has feelings. Don't get me wrong, I still love Aurora but Audrey isn't boring so I want to pick both.

Audrey has always been a smug person. She is a bad person. It was because She was heartbroken, it touched me. Audrey just wanted to be a queen like her mother and make her happy, but she chose evil when she couldn't achieve her goal.

I love both very much. Audrey and Aurora are both great. Both are beautiful.

Here is an article I wrote expressing my opinions on the 3D animated Disney Princesses and how they are in their featured films of Tangled, Brave, Frozen, and Moana. Since Raya and the Last Dragon is coming out on Saturday, I'll try to do an article on her too to see if she's another one of our favorite badass heroines? Or just a damsel in distress waiting to be saved. But anyway, let's get down to brass tacks, shall we?

5. Rapunzel

When I was little and the first trailer for Tangled was advertising showing another badass heroine who can fight and somewhat heal people's wounds and injuries with...

Hello Disney Princess Fans!

First let me apologize for being so bit late getting the article up this time, and explain what happened. Along with the business of the holiday season there was a family emergency. In mid-January my Dad came down with Covid-19 and had to be hospitalized for over a week. Fortunately he's back home and doing better now. But as you can imagine I didn't feel much like writing, nor did I have the time while that was going on.

Anyway, before we get started let me give you a brief run down of the Meet the DP Fans articles, in case you happen to new to the club and/or unfamiliar...

A year ago I played around with Google translate a lot and made a few hilarious articles about it. Google Translate meets the Disney Princesses style. This article is Part 2 of Google Translate Explains Princess Personalities. The first article below features: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle and Jasmine.

This article features: Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida and Moana.

I copy and pasted the information from Disney Wikipedia.

Pocahontas

Pocahontas is displayed as a noble, free-spirited, and highly spiritual young woman. She expresses wisdom beyond her years and offers...

I love how hardworking she is and I love how she doesn't take shiz from ANYONE, not even from a prince. -BB2010

Her determination. And I would love to taste one of her dishes. -Swanpride

Probably just her perseverance. -wavesurf

Probably that she's allowed to have both a warm doting side as well as a take-no-crap one. It's a nice mixture. I also love that her whole reason for working so hard is to fulfill James' dream of owning a restaurant. She is truly a family girl and has a lot of love for her parents, and her loyalty to her dad is so touching. -AudreyFreak

I love how she is very hard working...

Hey, guys! Happy beginning of Autumn! Anyway, a few weeks ago, I decided that I would maybe think about rewatching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for the first time in nearly five years. After thinking about it a little more thought, I decided, why not ALL the Disney movies? Okay, not all of them because with online school, play practice, reading, baking, and cooking, I probably don't have time for that. But for those of you who are wondering what films I was thinking of watching or rewatching and writing about on Fanpop, here they are (I might put in links to the articles once I finish them):...

14- Merida

I m not really a fan of her personality in her movie. There are definitely things that i find appealing with her she really does have a badass side , with her arrow , but at the same time there are things about her personality less appealing. I can't say I dislike her or hate her I m just neutral towards her and her movie. Also i m not gonna lied...

Belle yelled in surprise as Phillipe bolted, causing her to go flying through the air and land unceremoniously on her back. She lay there, winded, trying to catch her breath.

She was about to call for Phillipe when she realised he had turned around and cantered away immediately after throwing her off. She didn't know what had provoked such erratic behavior. She usually wasn't the one to ride him, but he was as friendly to her as to her father. He had always been a well-mannered horse. For him to behave in this manner showed there was something very wrong going on. Her father was in trouble.

She...

If you ever want to establish a new international holiday, do it in September. I am serious, there are surprisingly few actual holidays in this month - but a lot of really weird ones. I was kind of tempted to mark "Talk like a Pirate Day" in the calendar for that reason alone, but soon I had two hot contenders. One was Heritage Day which would have most likely...

Thank you to everyone who participated in Princess of the Month! For November we celebrated Belle, so here's an article on why we adore her:

Belle is my favorite princess, so I could wax eloquent concerning all the things I adore about her. In the interest of space, though, here is one thing I particularly love about her: her sense of self-worth. I don't feel like this is often talked about, but it's really inspiring to see her embrace her interests even in the face of constant ostracization from the townspeople. Everyone thinks she's weird and whispers behind her back, but despite this she...
