So, I'm going to be ranking about how I feel the animation is in the Disney Princess movies, I'll be ranking them worst to best, but I will be SEPERATING the computer animated films from the hand drawn ones. I'm going to start with the computer animated ones first because there's less of them and the real countdown is the hand-drawn ones.

Anyways, as I usually say, this is my opinion, so please respect it and I'll respect yours, because it's likely that we'll disagree.

Enjoy the article! :)

So let's start it off:

The Films That Are Computer Animated

3. Brave

I love the animation in this movie, I think it's very beautiful. Places like the forest and the castle look fantastic. However, I like the other two computer animated films more. This one has weird shots in it, in my opinion, and it looks dark and you can't really see it very well (It's not that I can't see well or anything, I just think the colors are darker and I don't like that) and I don't really like the designs of the characters, especially certain characters. Merida's head is SO CIRCULAR and it makes her look weird. I think the animation is great but not as good as the other ones.

2. Tangled

I absolutely love the animation in this movie. It's so fantastic. My favorite part of the movie in the animation HAS GOT to be the lantern scene! It's asbsolutely stunning! I love how Rapunzel's hair looks, it looks great, and I really like the character designs, they all look different, with different designs to them, and they don't look as weird as the characters in Brave do. Anyways, the animation is absolutely stunning but there is one computer animated film that is better than it.

1. Frozen

This is my least favorite Disney Princess movie but even I have to admit that the animation is absolutely AMAZING! the animation is fantastic through and through! In my opinion, the best animated part would have to be during let it go when Elsa builds the ice castle. That ice castle looks phenomenal! the characters look great, they're animated perfectly. They each have their own unique look and their expressions look real, exactly like an actual person's. Out of all the animation in the Disney Princess films together, this is in my top 3.
Now.....

The Hand-Drawn Movies

9. Sleeping Beauty

The animation is this movie is extremely weird, they tried to make it look as good as they could make it but I just don't like it. Even the other classic Disney Princess movies have better animation and they're older. Honestly, I don't find the animation to be really bad or anything but I don't it's as good as the others. I'm not going to criticize it that much because it's older and of course the newer animation is better.

8. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

I actually do like this animation, it's very good for the time, and there are scenes like with the magic mirror are very impressive! especially considering that this was made in the 1930's. Anyways, I really do love the animation in movie, but, the movies ahead of it or all newer. The animation us better in that time and more impressive. I enjoy this animation and think it's quite impressive at times, but it just isn't much compared to the others.

7. Cinderella

Like with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the animation is good for its time and has its impressive moments. Probably the best moment is the part with the ball gown. It's so impressive (especially for the time) and looks quite nice! even compared to some of Disney's newer works. However, the animation can be plain and unimpressive at times. It's not higher because all not others were made in the 1980's or later, so they're more impressive. (In my opinion though)

6. The Little Mermaid

We're in the renaissance now, so the animation is of course better. We're also at the point where I really like the animation. Anyways, sometimes I find this animation better then Aladdin's. I'll probably change my mind by the time I've finished with the article. I think the animation is really great in this movie, the sea looks great, (although I prefer it the non-Disney Princess movie Finding Nemo) the characters look great, and the animation, overall, is just very good. No, it's not one of those movies I would watch just to see the amazing animation, but the animation is still great. I don't really have any complaints, the others are just better.

5. Aladdin

Like I said before, my opinion between Aladdin and The Little Mermaid's animation is that they both have slightly similar designs and I like them both. The animation in this movie is really good, it's also very impressive. The character designs I'm mixed about though. I think they did a good job designing Aladdin, and a sub-decent job on Jasmine. My problem is the way Jasmine's face is drawn. It looks kind of weird and her nose is (in my opinion) the worst nose of any Disney Princess, yes it's kind of a stupid problem but I think the others are better in general anyways.

4. Mulan

I love this animation and think it's great. I don't know if that's unpopular opinion, but I'm going to bet it is. Anyways, I think the animation is special and unique, it looks great but has a feel to it that can make it feel strange, which I like. It not only looks great overall, but the character designs are great too, although Mulan doesn't get too much attention in the beauty department, she gets attention everywhere else, but that's getting a little off topic. Anyways, I really love this animation and the strange feel to it, but I prefer the others to this.

3. Pocahontas

The animation in this movie is absolutely amazing, especially during 'colors of the wind'. But every part of the animation is great. The character designs are great (though not the best) and in general it's just fantastic. It reminds me of Mulan's animation because it has a special feel to it. It looks different, but in a good way, a very good way actually. The only problem I have is with Pocahontas' nose, I know that's a stupid problem, but I also think the others are better in general anyways. I love the animation but the others are near flawless.

2. The Princess and the Frog

The animation in this movie is absolutely AMAZING and STUNNING! It looks fantastic, the colors are perfect, the characters look amazing, it's no wonder Tiana and Naveen are considered some of the most attractive Disney Princess' and Disney Princes' with the animation that this movie has. This movie is one of those movies (in my opinion) that even if hate, the animation is still great to you. I personally love this movie, but I know that some people don't, but a lot of people still admit they love the animation. It's great that they returned to 2D for this movie. I really want to see another 2D Disney movie in the future. Anyways, I love the animation but I prefer one movie's animation more.

1. Beauty and the Beast

The animation in this movie is absolutely FLAWLESS! Like with The Princess and the Frog, it's no wonder Belle is considered one of the most beautiful Disney Princesses, because just LOOK at the animation! The animation just looks so amazing, it's just.. Just, great. In my opinion, it has the best animation of ANY Disney movie! In case you're wondering what my list is, I'll have it at the bottom of the article. Oh wait, it looks like we're already at the end. Oh well.

Well, here's my list..
ALL Computer Animated Disney Films (including pixar)
5. The Incredibles
4. Tangled

2. Finding Nemo
1. Frozen

5. Mulan
4. Pocahontas

When Rapunzel heard the call from outside her tower, she assumed it was her mother, and her heart sank. Normally she'd be glad to see her, but after their argument, she was less eager.

Well, it wasn't really an argument. Those things kind of required two people arguing. It was more Mother lecturing and Rapunzel listening. But it was unpleasant enough for Rapunzel to feel bad about it even after her mother left.

When she went over to the tower window, she looked down—and gasped.

It definitely wasn't her mother. She didn't have too clear a view from her tower, but the figure at the bottom was...

Before we say goodbye to not just this year but also this decade, it's time I write an article that I wanted to write for a long time.
As a lot of you know, and for those who don't, Frozen is a movie/franchise that means a lot to me. Without it, I wouldn't even be on this site. It all started back in October of 2014,when I started to form a crush on the fictional character of Elsa. Originally, it was because I thought she was incredibly gorgeous, and I still think so, to this day. But, as the days went by and did more of my research, I realized how similar Elsa was to me and I began to relate...

1. How does it feel to be Fan of the Month?
I was Fan of the Month once a long time ago and while back then it was a bit of a shock this time, it's not that surprising :) I don't mean that in a self-centered way, comparing to how active I was in the past to now, I like to think I'm somewhat well-known for a ton of users here like KataraLover or sunnyfields. I'm honored to be the first Fan of the Month since it has been brought back.

2. Who is your favorite princess and why?
My favorite princess is Mulan because I used to relate to not being good enough for my family and wanted to do something...

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning
Last time watched: 2008

How much did I like this movie as a kid?

I didn't. Like, at all. In fact, after we see how Ariel's mom died that was it for me. Okay, so let me start from the beginning; If you've read my articles about TLM and TLM 2, you know that TLM is one of my most favorite movies and was a huge part of my childhood so when I was 15 years old I found out that there was going to be another movie of course I was excited!...

Snow White

Snow White is well known for her kindness and optimism — both of which act as her greatest strengths, as they've guided her safely through the various hardships faced throughout her life. She is quick to charm, winning the trust and admiration of the Prince, forest animals, and the Seven Dwarfs rather quickly, proving her kindness and pleasant aura makes her a beloved figure. Coined as the "Fairest One of All", Snow White's beauty lies both within her physical appearance and pure heart. With no negativity within her, Snow...

Here's the final article! I got to say, I'm kinda bummed that not a lot of people participated in this but it is what it is :)

Favorite Aladdin

O and R 1

Personally, I thought Mena did a great job for the most part, but Aladdin was changed from being a confident smooth talker to a socially awkward dork (and I mean dork in a nice way). The original Aladdin had a couple awkward moments where he stumbled over the right words or said the wrong thing but they barely happened. Remake Aladdin suddenly became incredibly awkward at the drop of the hat at one point in the movie. Some people probably...

Some people say he's forgettable but I think people automatically dismiss him just because he's not dramatic, theatrical and "hammy" like other Disney villains. I personally think he's pretty badass and ruthless.

Shan Yu is actually kind of similar to Mulan in that while everyone agrees that they both do remarkable things, some people think their personalities are on the boring side but I think it's unfair to dismiss any princess who isn't overtly dreamy, bubbly or feisty in some way (Mulan) and any villain who isn't over the top and in your face (Shan Yu) as boring. There are other ways to...

J-Pop Moment.
J-Pop Moment.
Hi guys, this list is something like the K-Pop list that I made previously. Only this time, it's their Japanese counterparts. Ready?

1) Moonlight Densetsu (DALI)

Taken from the popular Japanese anime, Sailor Moon. This song has always been part of my childhood and being a Die-Hard Sailor Moon fan, the princess will support them, especially on International Women's Day!

2) Shunken Sentimental (Scandal)

This is the first time that I'm listening to it, and while doing so, I notice that it sounds like some of Paramore's songs. In particularly, Misery Business.

3) Hitohira No Hanabira (Stereopony)

...
