Welcome to me ranking Fanpop's most heroic Disney Princesses in my opinion!

I also want to say, this is the first time in a while that I have written a DP article since I have taken a break from fanpop and I have been so busy. I have been on this site for two years and I am so happy to be back on here writing a new DP article!

When ranking them by how heroic they are, it was hard, because not all of them saved their country or prevented a war, but there are different forms of heroism. Even helping other people with their emotions or problems can be heroism. Working hard to achieve your goals is also a form of heroism. I also made the list based on ALL the films or TV shows the princesses appeared in.

Please comment and feel free to share your opinions. Thanks!

I did NOT include Anna and Elsa because they are not official as you know, but if I were to place them in the list...

----Anna would be 3rd and Elsa would 9

Alright, lets get started!

11. Snow White- Kicking us off at number 11 is Snow White! I love Snow White so much, she is such a sweetheart and she is so adorable. However, she doesn't really show any heroic actions in the movie. Many of her positive qualities are shown, such as her being kind, motherly and assertive when needed. But barely any heroic actions are shown. We still love her though.

10. Aurora- I love Aurora so much. But it is no question she isn't the most heroic. She doesn't do any heroic actions in Sleeping Beauty. However, in Disney Princess Enchanted Tales, she did help her father while he was gone on business and she did help Sofia the First rescue her family in the snow storm, but the others are more heroic than her. She's kind, respectful and mature though and she gets likability points for that.

9. Jasmine- Since Jasmine is my favorite DP, I got mad when I had to put her lower, but if I didn't I would be biased. Jasmine shows little heroic action in Aladdin and the other films and TV series, although she is shown to be very badass. Jasmine risks her life for Aladdin and risks being exposed by telling the guards that she is in fact the princess so he can be released, saving his life.

8. Cinderella- Cinderella is arguably to most productive of the Classic princesses. While Cinderella has a lot of personality, her heroic actions are limited. But in the sequels to her movie, she is shown being very helpful to Anastasia (after all she has done to her) by helping her get the guy she loves. She is assertive, and always goes after her goals. In the third movie, she goes through great lengths to get her prince back after Lady Tremaine makes him forget his memory.

7. One of the most controversial princesses on this site, Merida is my 7th most heroic Disney Princess. As you know, because of Merida's unhappiness with her mother forcing her to get married, she wants to change her... which leads her to becoming a bear. Merida and her mother set off to change and reverse the curse. Merida is shown to save herself and her mom from Mordu many times, such as when they encounter him in a cave, and when her father is about to kill her mother; she easily fights him and his men off. Similar to Belle, Merida saves her mother from the curse without knowing it.

6. Tiana- Tiana shows so much strength and perseverance in the movie, towards herself and even towards her late father, working all day and night just to "they" can finally get their restaurant. this has been going on since she was a little girl. She never stops working, and in the end she finally gets what she deserves due to her hard work.she also defeats a major villain, Faciller, finally putting an end to his terror.

5.Belle- Making it in the top 5 is my second favorite, Belle. Belle has shown her heroism in her feature movie, Beauty and the Beast. the most important one is the fact that she saves her father and agrees to stay in the Beasts castle so her father so live his life, considering the fact that he is very old and he doesn't have much time left. Without knowing it, she also saves the Beast from dying.

4. Ariel- Coming in at 4 is the feisty little mermaid Ariel. Not only does Ariel save many people in The Little Mermaid, including flounder and Eric but her heroism is als shown in the second movie when she saves her daughter Melody a large amount of times. Although she may have not always made the best decisions and made selfish decisions sometimes, you cannot deny her heroism.

3. Rapunzel-Rapunzel is often in the middle with lists like this, but for me, she is DEFINITELY in the top 3. She does many things to show she is heroic. She saves Flynn's life more than once; once when they were running away from the soldiers, and when he die due to Gothel stabbing him. She also is the reason why they are alive, because of her cleverness, remembering her hair lighting up to get them out of the dam filled with water before they died. Her quick-thinking and clever thinking keeps her one step ahead of her enemies and that is why she is 3rd on this list.

2. Mulan- Not really an explanation here, at all.

Mulan overcame many struggles. Being a woman, not being accepted, not finding love and so on. But that didn't stop her from saving her father and her entire country. Umm.. I don't really think I should go on because then I would just be repeating all the things everyone else says.

1.Pocahontas

Ok. so I know a lot of you were expecting Mulan to be first. Well she isn't. Pocahontas is. I see Pocahontas slightly heroic in Mulan in many ways.

When people ask who the most heroic DP is, they say Mulan or Merida. Well I say Pocahontas. People say, "oh she ( Mulan) was in a war, she is so badass". Well if you think about it...

POCAHONTAS WAS IN A WAR TOO. She was actually trying to prevent the battles between the settlers and Native Americans. She was always the peacemaker. She saved John Smith's life by standing up to her father and telling him to choose his own path. She had guts to go in between two opposing sides. She could have been shot any moment. Yes, I understand how many feel that way about Mulan ( that she is the most heroic) because Mulan was a woman and she overcame that to save her entire country. But in the movie, Pocahontas's wisdom, courage and bravery led to her stopping a huge conflict between two sides who just didn't understand each other. She stopped the war before it even started. Besides saving her people, she also helped prevent the misunderstanding between two different groups of people who came from completely different backgrounds.Thats what makes her the most heroic.

Thanks for Reading!
Be sure to comment! Who do you think is the most heroic DP? If you have any questions, feel free to ask me!

Well, I've noticed recently, that people have been talking about the animation of the Disney Princess movies recently, more so the difference between 2D and CGI Disney Princess movies, as well as some other things.

Most seem to think 2D is better. Well, more than most, almost all actually. I too love the 2D animation from the Disney Princess movies, it looks great, especially in some of the movies, however, I think people are starting to overrate the 2D movies, at least on fanpop.

Outside of fanpop, the matter is completely different. The CGI movies are loved and praised by many, especially...

Hello, everyone! I'm a new user here, so I figured I'd do an introduction article. I already have one up link, but I assume most of you have probably seen it already. :)

All About Me

My name is Audrey. I'm 20 years old, and my birthday is July 21st (so I'm a Cancer, in case anyone's into astrology). I'm from the United States, specifically the state of New York, and I'm currently studying Classics and Art History in college.

English is obviously my native language, but through my major in Classics, I also know Latin and ancient Greek--and a smidgeon of Spanish from elementary school. I love ancient...

I meant to do this article for quite a long time but I didn't have time,so I'm doing it now.
Enjoy :)
I want to state that this is just MY opinion,I'm not trying to hate or hurt anybody.
Also, forgive me for few mistakes,English isn't my native language.

13.Snow White
Her voice is one of the only things that I don't like about her.It is impressive how high can her voice go,and I think that Adrianas' voice totally suits Snow White. It is sweet, soft and positive, but it's too high in my opinion, and I saw that a lot of people here agrees with me.

12.Merida
There isn't much things to say about Merida.She...

Man, she's frightening here!!!
Hi guys, I managed to watch the movie last Sunday and I truly enjoy it, for those who are a diehard Angelina Jolie fans here, first of all no hard feelings as I'm going to very straightforward with this review on the movie and her acting.

The story and landscape

First of all, the movie was visually amazing, as well the graphic and location was breathtaking. There are times where I wish I could enter into that world of fantasy, during the battle scene, I always thought that it was like a crossover between The Chronicles of Narnia and Lord the Rings! I was also amazed that Maleficent has wings...

Bonjour! This list couldn't be more simple!

(It's not what I believe so to speak, I did do some research, but if you believe something else and have a justification, you can tell me in the comments.)

Snow White - Fourteen - the youngest disney princess

Cinderella - One of the eldest Disney Princesses at nineteen

Aurora - Sixteen, as it says so in her movie

Ariel - Sixteen, as it says in her movie "Daddy, I'm sixteen. I'm not a child anymore."

Belle - Seventeen.

Jasmine - Fifteen. There's been some debate about this; but most websites believe she's fifteen

Pocahontas - Eighteen. Although...

I hope all of you enjoy reading this as it took a lot of work. We apologise for any inconsistency (some people kept changing their lists - it was even changed on the 14th, just one day before the deadline).

So, it's been a while since I've written an article on here, and even longer since I've written a list, so I decided to do my favorite soundtracks! This was actually really hard to do, since I really like all the soundtracks, but I'm fairly sure of most of my placements. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy!

Oh, sing sweet nightingale, sing sweet nightingale...
Oh, sing sweet nightingale, sing sweet nightingale...

12. Cinderella
Favorite Song: Sing Sweet Nightengale
Least Favorite Song: Work Song
Sadly, one of the reasons I'm not a big fan of the movie is that the soundtrack is, for me at least, about as riveting as a bag of doorknobs. It just doesn't...

For those of you who dont know Jasmine has been my favorite Disney Princess FOREVER. I just really feel that Jasmine has one of the best personalities out of all the princesses and I want to express why, because I feel she needs a little bit more love. :) Despite her sassiness, she is very generous, kind, fun-loving, and flirty.

Before writing my reasons on why Jasmine is the best DP, I my 3 reasons on why people may not like Jasmine or maybe why they have her low on their list. Not all of them may be true.

Reason 1- She has a bad temper.
Reason 2- She is selfish.
Reason 3- Her sassiness is annoying...

Not sure if you all have seen my ramblings on the wall, but I've converted! I am now officially a Merida fan (not that I wasn't before, but just recently I've fallen in love with her more than ever before). She's now sixth on my list including Anna and Elsa, and fourth not including them. This kind of came out of nowhere, but lately I'm over the moon about her and I think it's a good time to write one of these articles for her. I've already written one for Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Jasmine, Tiana, Elsa, and Anna, and plan on making one for all of the princesses at some point....
