Here is all of our memories from the first day we joined. Consider all of us celebrities, we've been stalked as well as stalking this place our selves.

"Yeah. Flashback to me-12 years old. OBSESSED with The Lion King and The Lion King II. I found an amazing Lion King picture on Google Images. The whole page caught my eye, the polls particularly interested me then.
I looked around a little bit, then found a Naruto club. I floated there a bit, considered joining, decided not to, then moved on with my life, leaving an awesome site behind.
Over the years I kept running into Fanpop because of the pictures, and during my DP obsession (age 14?) I found this page and kept coming back to it every day, just stalking everyone else. I had SO many opinions I wanted to put out there, but I resisted for a long time.
I finally joined (I was almost 16) after seeing a Disney Confessions picture I really related to. Yeah, I foolishly thought the person who posted it had made it, so I created my account, went straight there, and commented.
I was so awkward, but those older users were celebrities to me.

"I was looking up Disney crossover pics on google, and found myself on the club. I didn't join quite yet; I just kinda snooped around. Then, when I got the courage to join, I commented on a couple polls. I was actually afraid to comment on some because I was going against what other users thought. XD For some reason, I distinctly remember Astrid having a Nightmare Before Christmas icon and Dylan had an anime of sort. Taryn had a cool Kingdom Hearts (or something like that ;p) icon. I warmed up to everyone the next day and got really close to y'all. :'D"

"Well technically the first day I discovered fanpop was a day that I was looking up articles about peoples list of the top 10 most beautiful Disney women because there was this amazing video about that and it got my curious about others opinions. A few of them I saw were on fanpop and I even saw an old poll asking who the most beautiful Disney woman was. But the first say I was on here as an official user was in November of 2009 when I saw feeling sick and had to stay home from school and I made an account. That day I made two beauty polls on the Disney Princess fan club and was confused about everything until my second day on fanpop because I thought my polls had disappeared."

"I joined recently so it is easy. I had actually read articles on this site before but I would leave right after and didn't really think about it, then one day, I came across an article I completely disagreed with and joined just to comment on it. I ended up not commenting and instead writing an article about the princess films. So I wrote an article on my first day and just looked around and joined different clubs, I really didn't know much about Fanpop or how it worked then but by now I understand it pretty well:) I remember being sort of surprised that some people had actually commented on that article and I got hooked on making more and just sharing my opinions."

"So. age 15 in fanpop 2009 I was googling some Disney quizzes and pictures and stuff, and I found fanpop. I loved it from the moment I saw it, all the users were so fun and intelligent, I was just amused. I stalked fanpop for a few years, I read like all of Princesslullaby's articles and everything, but I was stupid enough to never join. Until one day a user made an article about Ariel and I was so excited to debate with this person, and I finally had the will to join. When I joined, I didn't even make a wallpost or anything, I just went straight for the debating, emberassed myself a lot, I used tons of fallacies and was very closed minded. I didn't even change my icon until like a month later. Soon, I began warming up to the place and getting used to things. It took me a while to get adjusted though,

"My story is that I had a huge random obsession with reimagined Disney characters (like where they draw them in different themes) About 85% of those pictures came from Fanpop, and I wanted to comment on one so I made an account. I was on for like 2 days because I liked reading articles. I leave for two months, come back on one day when I was bored and slowly started becoming active!"

"So, one day as I was browsing through the images section of Google, I stumbled upon some Disney screencaps and fanart by Tiffany88. These photos resided next to one another, like precious diamonds in a cave. I don't remember what I searche dup at the time that brought those images, or the other non-DP images surrounding the fanart. But I felt compelled to click on the images, and it brought me to the magical world of Fanpop. For 1 year (and I think a few months more...?) I just read the articles day by day. Princesslullaby's Fanpop's Favorite Disney Princess countdowns were always stuck in my memory, and oddly enough, they were always the Popular content! I never bothered to look at the polls, answers, quizzes, or links because I couldn't participate. The videos were very boring, at the time. But the wall (yes, when I was there, the wall was there) was very interesting as well. I could tell the personality, speech, from each user. Safira-09 was always very outspoken. Cromulanfav and princesslullaby always had that crude, adult, and inside-joke kind of comedy, which made them the internet-clowns. I still can't forget cromulanfav's poop joke she said on the wall. One day, a user even said she joined when she was 11 and finally turned 13 when she announced it. One of the most motherly users, sweetpea2004 was nice enough to accept it, and say that everybody made mistakes. So many more people made this site what it is today. That classroom with all of the happy kids. That park with hardly any equipment, but a lot of friends, playing... laughing. That family who would always goof up and embarass themselves, but never cared. All of this engaged me to join. So I did, in a year or 2. And my first wallpost was about going to Niagra Falls, when I really wanted to go to the Beauty and the Beast musical. Later, I learned how to make icons, and I made my 3 first friends (in chronological order) MalloMar, Jessikaroo (she still messages me today, she's not on a stranded island, guys xD) and Safira-09. Believe it or not, one of my first articles was about the superpowers I imagined the DPs would have, and Jessikaroo was the only one to comment. MalloMar always makes my day better, and she'll always bring a little light to all of us. And Safira-09, she's the Merida who always stood up for me, especially when times were rough. (Even when I was stupid, constantly acting like a 10 year old. I still do, sorry)
