Ever since my mother decided to buy my first movie when I was the measly age of 3, and which so happened to The Little Mermaid in VHS, I was forever doomed.

And when I say forever doomed, I mean forever doomed in the best of ways... If that makes any sense?

After that, I basically became a Disney addict. Disnerd to be exact. I loved pretty much every Disney film that I came to encounter. Sure, the early 2000's Disney movies were kinda off for me, and to be honest not all that memorable (Except Lilo and Stitch, God how I love that movie.) but my immense love for the past Disney films never died down, and I always found my self going back to watch them. Luckily, recent Disney films have captured my attention again, we're in the making of new classics from what I see! More than anything though, my main connection and love for Disney isn't just based off of the amazing stories it gives us one after the other, but the girls.

Those girls are the Disney Princesses, or also in other words, the Disney Heroines. Each one holds a story, and while some are more damsels in distress than others, they all leave a mark. There's a reason we can recall so many of these girls from our childhood, like them or not.

So, I had to make a list and share my thoughts and love for these royal gals. Let it be clear that while I do have my picks from least to greatest, it doesn't necessarily mean I dislike or hardly care for them. One way or another I love em' all! So here it is, my top 10 Disney Gal list.

Also my list always changes, so take it as a roughly put together list. I really wanted to put Snow White and Merida here, but for now these are the girls I'm feeling the most!

10. Cinderella

Seriously, I was close to placing Snow White as my number 10, but I'm feeling Cinderella a bit more here. I guarantee a huge percent of us girls at one point or another wanted that magical gown of hers, and lets not forget the glass slippers.Cinderella for obvious reasons is the representation of the classic Disney Princess franchise. She has a beautiful magical story, that while it can be cheesy and a bit overrated, is what many of us would sigh over. Who wouldn't want a magical night out at some ball and meet prince charming? Heck sign me up. Cinderella is more than her fairytale story though, while some can see her character as merely black and white, in her own way she's a strong women. She might not be strong in way that's like "BAM!" in your face but she kept it positive and never let her spirit die down, regardless of the abuse her step family made her go through. In the end, the message I got from Cinderella after her well deserved happy ending, is that we can pursuit our own happy future, regardless of the hardships and life we went through.

9. Tiana

Seriously, this girl and her movie deserved waaaay more recognition when they came out, but that's another story. Tiana, what can I say? She's a strong hardworking women that many girls should look up to. It's admirable how she never gives up, or when her dreams seemed so out of reach, her motto was to simply keep working harder. Getting personal here, Tiana hits home by reminding me of my own mother. Both working constantly to achieve their goals, and both hold strong personalities that are just contagious and easy to love. Also, Tiana seriously has one of the best gowns, indeed she does.

8. Anna

One way or another, us girls can find attributes in the Disney Princesses that we can relate and compare our selves to. With Anna though, she holds so many real qualities that many of us while watching her in Frozen can say, "Yea I would totally handle that situation in that way." or "I'm also ungraceful and dorky as her!". While I do find Anna's character a bit... flat at times, she's admirable in her own sense, and while she should think twice in a couple of her decisions (Wanting to marry Hans, who is a total D*%& and I feel like I'm the only one from the start who had a feeling he'd turn out that way.) we can relate to those mistakes. Plus, she was part of the phenomenal message everyone is loving in this film that you don't necessarily need a man to save you. That it's sisters before misters....see what I did there? (;

7. Jasmine

Besides "Aladdin" being one of my very top favorite films of all time, Jasmine on her own is a pretty favorable character to me. Jasmine can be sassy and while a few people tend to pick on that, I dig it. She knows what she wants, which is freedom from her royal title, or more precisely from the palace, and she is set to get exactly that (Kind of reminds me of my nights sneaking out of the house in my teens, shame on me I know.) . Of coarse in the end it didn't really work out how she thought it would, and she didn't seem to mind one bit (or even notice,) which is one thing that kind of irks me to date, but she still found a great outcome either way and that was Aladdin. Who by the way, I had the biggest crush on as a kid, and still do.. no shame here. Alright, going back to Jasmine! Besides being a gorgeous headstrong character, her duet with Aladdin in "A Whole New World." never fails to give me the chills. So thank you Jasmine, for the chill feels.

6.Pocahontas

OMGEE that hair. Bless whoever has Pocahontas hair. Pocahontas is pretty much the first leading female in a Disney movie to not end up with the guy (Pocahontas 2 in my mind never existed and may I never see it again.) and her ending is so bitter sweet and beautiful that it left a permanent place in my heart as one of the most beautiful movie scenes I've seen. She's a woman that wishes to fallow her own path and not fallow the traditional ways. She doesn't want to settle down, she wants to explore and create her own mark, in a sense I see her as one of the important stepping stones for the present Disney Princesses and heroines we have. Also, Pocahontas is wise and holds a natural poise, not to mention her character design is just beautiful. And her songs, oh my gosh her SONGS! "Colors of the Wind" is hands down my ultimate favorite Disney melody. I just love Pocahontas period.

5. Ariel

People say she's bratty, I just justify her actions by saying she's just being a teen. Besides Ariel being gorgeous, (heck the prettiest Disney gal in my book) her curious yet cheery personality, her passion to be human and live on land, and the risk taker she is makes her just so fun to watch. She's like a door of nostalgia to my childhood, since she was the FIRST Disney princess I watched and would watch possible everyday. Moreover, Ariel added more..... color to the Disney Princess franchise. Not saying the Disney Princesses before her were bland or boring, but Ariel had more of a detailed story that consisted more then simply ending up with the Prince. Even if Eric did turn out to be one of her main goals later on, you have to admire her main dream was to be human. Also "Part of That World" and her voice in general are hard not to love. Seriously, I have her jamz on repeat on my ipod. Did Ariel make the best decisions? Pff no. But hey she's a trooper and I adore Ariel. Plus, I want her red hair..

4.Elsa

To be a queen you gotta be cold, and literally Elsa proves this. With the HUGE but I mean HUGE success of Frozen, and "Let It Go" playing literally everywhere, it's easy to see why soooo many people are ranking Frozen and Elsa as their number one Disney movie and royal gal. I'll discuss my opinion on the movie some other time, but going back to Elsa, I can't help but adore her as well. Her character design is just amazing and those ice powers of hers are just...agh...awesome! Sure, her character had plot holes. How did she get her powers? No freaken idea whatsoever. How was she able to build a huge ice castle if she can't even control the blizzard in Arandelle? Again, no clue. But besides the flaws, Elsa is such a raw and damaged character that you can't help but applaud Disney for taking a more real and darker tone with it's characters. Also, the fact she didn't end up a with a man emphasizes how much of a strong independent queen she is. All hail Queen Elsa!

3.Mulan

Going back to Frozen, I love it but it irks me when I see people claiming Frozen was the FIRST movie to show you don't need a man to be your own hero. I guess we never had a heroine who risked getting killed just to prevent her father from going to war by taking his place as a soldier, dressing up as a man AND basically saving all of China? Common people don't strip Mulan from her glory! Mulan is just...... pure awesomeness. She "fails" to be the supposedly ideal women to marry and raise a family. Soooo she decides to settle in basically saving all of China. Mulan gives us so many messages to take with us, that you don't have to be perfectly feminine, you don't have to fallow the norm, and that any girl can be her own hero. Even if you have an army full of men you can be the main hero! Wrapping this up, Mulan was very important to me as a child, I WANTED to be Mulan, and "Reflection" is always a must to hear when I'm at my worst. I just love you Mulan.

2. Belle

A beauty but a funny girl? More like a masterpiece of a Disney Princess. Belle, comes very but VERY close in second. For the longest run Belle never failed to be my number one. Belle is mature, Belle is different, Belle is an open nerd, and Belle shows there can be so much more to a girl than her pretty face. How she embraces the Beast for what he is and actually develops feeling for him instead of a hunk like Gaston, is just admirable. Makes you wish there was really more people like that, Belle can really teach us a thing or two. Not only that, Beauty and the Beast is literally one of my all time favorite films and has been around with me practically my whole life. If you were to ask me who my hero was as a child, I would easily say Belle. She's a mixture of both traditional yet modern, and I can go on but I prefer to save you readers from reading half a page of why I simply love Belle.

1. Rapunzel

I LOVE, BUT I MEAN LOVE RAPUNZEL. Actually, love is even an understatement. Anyone who knows me, knows just how much I love "Tangled" and Rapunzel. It's a bit unhealthy, not gonna lie. So, it was really hard not to write a full page dedicated to why I love Rapunzel, and you know what? I possibly will now that I think about it, but I'll try to keep it short here! Rapunzel is a bit of a mix of the past Disney girls. She's curious like Ariel, seeks freedom and has a bit of sass like Jasmine, holds her own ground and is no damsel in distress like Mulan, and holds an open heart like Belle. And yet she hold so much more, she's determined to make her own dream come true, she takes the risks, she changes peoples lives and perspectives ( The thugs pursuing their dream and Flynn Rider embracing he's Eugene.) she's quirky, humorous, and not all that graceful, which I actually like. In a sense, like Elsa she can be considered a damaged character as well. I mean come on, being isolated in a tower for 18 years from the world? There's gotta be some effect there. Lets not forget how gorgeous her character is and that voice.... I love you Mandy Moore. Not to mention she had magic hair the glowed when she sang. Forever I truly believe Rapunzel will be my number one girl, and I know for a fact "Tangled" will always be my all time favorite movie. Seriously, my kids and their kids will grow up loving Rapunzel. I adore, love, and admire Rapunzel.

Thank you if you stuck around till the end of this article! I would love to hear what you guys have to say and even hear your own list !
Snow White pressed her face to the cool window. For the past two hours, she had been crying over the loss of her older sister. Ariel had quit on her, for Snow just kept on crying. She thought it was her fault that Belle didn't get much attention.
"Don't worry, Snow, Belle will come back," Eric had assured her earlier.
"Well, she better!" Adam had barked. He wasn't taking his wife's departure too well.
Snow White cried some more. "I ruined it for everybody," she whined.
She realized that the person she needed most was not her brother.
But her husband.
Prince.
She hated herself for fighting with...

Ariel tiptoed to the Tremaine room, followed by Belle and Snow White. She quickly hustled to the doors, and peeked inside the keyhole.
"You're far more persistent than I thought..." Lady Tremaine was saying.
"Who is she talking to?" Ariel wondered.
"You won't get away with this!" A blonde girl stood up, her kerchief falling to the floor.
"Blondey!" Ariel gasped.
"I already have," said Lady Tremaine, smiling slyly.
"I don't think so, JAQ, GUS!!" Blondey ran for the door, while two mice carried a stick and followed her.
"Get out of the way!" Ariel yelled, moving away.
She and her sisters moved...

You are hereby invited to the Royal Wedding of your brother, our beloved Prince Charming Christopher Thomas. The wedding will be in two days after you receive this letter. The Prince is hopeful you all will make it.

Ariel screamed and jumped up and down on the bed, nearly crushing her husband's ribs.
Eric sat up and pulled her down. "Gee, whiz, Ariel, how exciting could that letter be?"
Ariel shoved the piece of paper into his face. "VERY exciting, Eric! My big brother is GETTING MARRIED!" She squealed and showed off her glossy...

So seven months ago, I made my first Princess Countdown, and a lots changed, including the newest addition to the bunch, and the fact that I've rewatched most of the movies since and my opinions have changed.. so here you go (:

NUMBER TEN. Snow White
Previous number; nine
To put it simply, I don't think I will ever hate anyone more than I hate Snow White. As I said last time, her hair is really unflattering, her voice bugs me and she trusts a weird, freaky lady to give her an apple.. not only that but I don't like any of the songs in the movie. Sorry if I offended anyone, but she will always...

Hi, this is my first article here, i wanted it to be more special ( the topic i mean -__- ) but seems like i have to settle with my Prettiest list for now :

The Bravest Of Us All

10 : Mulan
Although Mulan is one of my fave DP but she's not one of the top prettiest to me, her body is not that feminine, her hair is flat, thick eyebrows, not a very pretty smile, though i really like her eyes, she has some shots in the movie where she looks pretty, but not a lot to make her go higher.
My fave feature : Her eyes
My least fave feature : her smile

The Diner Girl

9 : Tiana
i just don't know why...

You guys know the drill. :) Let's get right down to my favorite Disney Princess movies.

10) I know this is hugely predictable, but just like most people, I find Sleeping Beauty to be bland and a bit too devoid of Princess Aurora screentime to be interesting. There's no doubt that the animation is beautiful and the characters are nice, but that's all they are: NICE. Of course, Maleficent is a great character, but a great villain doesn't a great movie make. Princess Aurora is a bit flat, and the great, mushy "moral" moments of the story (i.e. "the shield of virtue" and the "sword of truth")...

Why do we always write our articles together? Because we usually have the same opinions. And there is especially no exception to this one; we agree on almost EVERYTHING. So it was a really long, hard (haha, I said "long" and "hard" again) process, honestly this was the hardest list we've each personally have ever had to put together. BTW, this is not the merging/averages of our lists. This is where we would each individually rank them. Great minds think alike, so that means we're all smarter than you. Don't worry about it, you'll never be smarter, it's okay, you can't expect greatness out of...

1)How do you feel about being fan of the month?

I’m so grateful for everyone who voted for me. I really believe a lot of fanpoppers deserve this recognition, so it’s great to know people appreciate what I do to the spot.

2)Who is your favorite princess and prince and why?

My favorite princess has always been Belle. She’s so sweet, witty, stubborn, kind, bleh… everything about her I just adore. <3 As for my favorite prince, that would have to be Phillip. He’s incredibly chivalrous and what I believe a “classic prince” should be like.

3)Who is your least favorite princess and prince...

The princesses quickly realized that the wand's magic had taken them somewhere far away, and they all felt a refreshing feeling as they began to search for their loved ones.
Ariel wanted to say something, but she couldn't breathe! They were underwater! They all scrambled to the surface as fast as they could, and found themselves in the middle of the ocean.
"Oh, no!" cried Aurora. "The magic didn't work!"
"Actually, it did," Belle pointed out. "We're near Ariel's home, Atlantica."
"Woo-hoo! I'm home!" squealed Ariel.
"But how are we going to get down to your palace?" Mulan wondered.
Ariel wringed...

A small ray of sunlight shown through the peachy drapes as Cinderella's eyes fluttered open. She yawned and stretched, realizing that while living with her stepfamily, she had never seen a more beautiful sunrise.

Charming opened his eyes and smiled. "Your eyes are more goregous than any sunrise in the world." He kissed her gently.

“What?” she groaned, turning over and opening her eyes.
“Eric’s going to the beach soon,” she frowned. “You have to get up.”

“Looks like he’s an early bird,” Meg laughed.
“Fine,” she sat up in bed. “Though, what the hell are you wearing?” She raised an eyebrow as she looked over the grotesque green dress Meg was wearing, complete with a huge bow in her hair.

Aurora...zzz...she doesn't really do anything. I am sorry. She is cute in the period she is awake, but...that's it. The problem is that her character is not expanded enough. I am sure that if she spent more time awake, she would be much more interesting.
