So here’s how this article will work. I rank each one by song and score and then I’ll add up the placements that each soundtrack got and that will be there overall placement. Since the countdown was done it two different ways (Song and Score) I believe there are no ties. The Favorite and Least Favorites Songs were almost all picked by ten amazing people!!! Give yourself a cookie!

11th Score
The Princess and the Frog
Score done by Randy Newman

This is my favorite score out of all the DP scores and so I was really sad to see it go out. But I kind of can agree with the reasons.

Comments
”This score is generally really very plain. I remember watching Toy Story 3 and I honestly thought I heard some of the moments from PATF's score in it. Most of it's just the same cadence repeated, or a variation. From what I've heard of him, I'm just not a fan of Randy Newman in general.” rhythmicmagic
” Judging on score only, definitely. Nothing really stands out, it's bland.” dimitri_

11th Songs
Brave
Favorite Song: Noble Maiden Fair
Least Favorite Song: The Song of Mor’dor
The Favorite and Least Favorite songs are my fault. I thought the singer for Touch the Skies was in the movie but she wasn’t (Yeah we’re not counting singers in the movie) so I went with the second most votes and my least favorite because they’re the only two songs to count. Because Brave’s best songs are sung by people in the movie (I meant cast) that’s why it’s here. But if I was counting it, it should be higher.

Comments
[i]” I like Touch the Sky a lot but it's not like there's a wide set variety of songs in Brave.” dimitri_

10th Scores

Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs
Score done by Paul J. Smith and Leigh Harline.

I agree with this placement it’s cute which is perfect for the film but not as breath taking as the others.

Comments
” I love this movie and I adore the songs, but the score is unmemorable for me.” Mongoose09
” The songs in SW and the 7 Dwarfs are very cute and fun. However, the score doesn't really do anything for me.” dimitri_

10th Songs
The Princess and the Frog
Favorite Song: Almost There
Least Favorite Song: Dig a Little Deeper
The Princess and the Frog is still very underrated here, it’s has my second favorite songs out of all the DP movies and there’s all very catchy.

Comments
” I find all of the songs (except 'Almost There') completely unmemorable. Even after I've just watched the movie I can't remember how any of the songs go. Not necessarily 'bad', per se, just not my taste at all. If I liked the songs better I might even enjoy the movie more as a whole because I like the main characters.” Mongoose09
” I'm not sure since all of them have good songs and songs I'm not too fond of, but I guess PatF's. I enjoy listening to Friends on the Other Side and Down in New Orleans Reprise, the others, not really. They aren't very catchy in general.” dimitri_

9th Scores

Aladdin
Score done by Alan Menken

I have to say this is the weakest of Alan Menken works. The main score that holds me at the seat of my pants is The Cave of Wonders the rest just put me to sleep.
Comments
” Aladdin's has nothing that stands out” Flutey_Girl96
” Aladdin's score is really just a bunch of generic movie score. Nothing at all special about it.” rhythmicmagic

9th Songs
Tangled
Favorite Song: Mother Knows Best (Reprise)
Least Favorite Song: When Will My Life Begin
I’m kind of a poppy bubbly girl like the songs from Tangled are so they really fit me more than anyone else on fanpop (You guys get where I’m coming at right). I’m sad to see it go but understand why.

Comments
” Unmemorable, generic, Billboard 100s, but charted at 70, and the lyrics are not the strongest.” Jayden-G
” Tangled has one fantastic song, but the rest are not my type of music. (I almost said not my cup of tea, but you're probably annoyed by that by now *We are never annoyed by that MalloMar*).” MalloMar

8th Scores
Cinderella
Score done by way too many to list
It’s another okay score not one that plays when I write all the time just okay…

Comments
” Again, the score is unmemorable for me.” dimitri_
” I adore the songs and I love the movie, but the score? Nice, but forgettable” Mongoose09

8th Songs
Aladdin
Favorite Song: Prince Ali
Least Favorite Song: Prince Ali (Reprise)
Aladdin has to be the only DP film where I dislike but the songs and score. Their wreak and all mainly filler.

Comments
” Most of them are too fast, and only AWNW and One Jump reprise actually shows any emotion. The other songs are just there as fillers to make the movie fit the Disney outline.” Flutey_Girl96
”My bottom three are still here…” dclairmont

7th Scores
Brave
Score done by Patrick Doyle

It wasn’t a breath taking score to me personally at times the name each score didn’t fit with the score.
Comments
” Unmemorable” LibelluleBleu
” Out of these.” dimitri_

7th Songs
Sleeping Beauty
Favorite Song: I Wonder
Least Favorite Song: Skumps
The Singers are amazing! But the songs not so much…

Comments
” This soundtrack makes ME sleeping beauty..haha just kidding. It's just less memorable to me.” Shiki_Otherside
”I only love Once Upon a Dream.” dimitri_

6th Scores
Tangled
Score Done by Alan Menken
Out of all of Alan Menken’s work this is my fourth favorite (Under Newies, Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame but tied with Hercules). Sadly it was amazing to me as it is to others.

Comments
” The score works well in the movie, but it doesn't really stand out compared to the others.” JungleQueen13
” Its score it's better than its songs, but it cannot compete with the other movies” Popcornfan
” The score is decent, but it is not that memorable and indistinguishable.” Jayden-G

6th Songs
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Favorite Song: (Tie) I’m Wishing/One Song (Their the same song) and Some Day my Prince Will Come
Least Favorite Song: Washing Song
I’m not going to comment about this because I will go on a rant about the Prince’s voice which I’m like Prince Eric to Ariel about. Moving on.

Comments
” Lots of songs, but not many are that good.” JungleQueen13
” Still voting for yah since day one. -.-“ CRaZy_rawR

5th Scores
Pocahontas
Score Done by Alan Menken

I know, some of your hearts just stopped at this placement mine did but that’s the good thing about having two hearts (Then again it has doubled the pain). I should just listen with my heart and move on.

Comments
” Oh man this was so hard to choose. Beauty and the Beast and Mulan's scores both give me chills when I listen to them, and The Little Mermaid's makes me want to get up and dance, so I have to go with Pocahontas's, even though it's beautiful.” MaidofOrleans
” Bad score” Beautiful_Tiana

5th Songs
Mulan
Favorite Song: I'll Make a Man out of You
Least Favorite Song: A Girl worth fighting for
Personally I don’t really feel the Disney magic in these’ s song and would have it lower but, people’s choice.

Comments
” I think I voted for TLM last round, but this time it'll be Mulan. Neither one is oh-my-this-is-made-of-epic-awesomeness..” Silverrose1991
” I do not like the soundtrack as much as the others...I DON'T KNOW ALL HAVE GOOD ONES.” Prussiaducky
” I love "I'll Make a Man Out of You" but in comparison to the others, while the soundtrack definitely suits the movie, it just falls flat IMO.” Mongoose09

4th Scores
The Little Mermaid
Score done by Alan Menken

I was sad to see this score go; it’s one of my favorite things about the movie. My favorites score it the Main Title really pulls me in even though the rest of the movie doesn’t.
Comments
” I honestly love listening to it, but if I put aside my attachment, it really isn't as good as the others. I do think the Main Titles score is magnificent though.” JungleQueen13
” I mean, the beginning, with all those fish-people swimming, is amazing! But I don't really remember the rest, just the tune of "Beyond My Wildest Dreams" playing when Scuttle is flying to Ariel's room and the score of the kitchen (when Chef Louis find Sebastian and they have the fight).” Silverrose1991

4th Songs
Cinderella
Favorite Song: (Tie) So This Is love and Sing Sweet Nightingale
Least Favorite Song: Work Song
The mice brought down the songs from this soundtrack. But can I just disagree with the best song? Everyone knows it’s link
Comments
” Only because of the mice's voices. I can't stand them. I hope Beauty and the Beast doesn't go, because I absolutely adore all the songs in it.” MaidofOrleans
” I'm beginning to dislike some of the songs in this movie.” MissAngelPaws
3rd Scores
Mulan
Scores Done by Jerry Goldsmith
I think everyone forgot about this score by the time we reached the top 3. After listening to it again…the only really good one is Mulan’s Decision the others are okay but seem to be lacking something also there’s too much other noise during the scores that pulls me away.

Comments
” It has moments where it's completely awesome, such as the 'decision' scene where she cuts her hair among others, but I think as a whole from start-to-finish the other two have superior scores.” Mongoose09
” Out of these by far.” LibelluleBleu

3rd Songs
Beauty and the Beast
Favorite Song: Beauty and the Beast
Least Favorite Song: Human Again
My little sister has an ear for music she can tell you what key you’re singing and she hates it when people can’t sing (I’m not along to sing when she is around) we have to fast forward during Beauty and the Beast because to her, only Gaston can sing (I agree).

Comments
” Overall, the songs in Beauty and the Beast were okay-good. Pocahontas has two standout songs, and those two are both sung by Pocahontas herself. :)” ApplesauceDoctr
” Definitely...........” dclairmont
” The other 2 have better songs.” dimitri_

2nd Scores
Sleeping Beauty
Score Done by George Bruns
But based off of the one and only Tchaikovsky
Well, yep. This score was so close but lost by one comment. It’s an amazing score and has everything every score needs.

Comments
” Sleeping Beauty is Tchaikovsky. Nuff said.” MaidofOrleans
” I love this score, but Sleeping Beauty's is a masterpiece.” Silverrose1991
” It's nice, and I especially like the score during the spindle scene, but I find Beauty and the Beast's score to be more memorable and overall more beautiful. Possible familiarity bias here though because I've seen Beauty and the Beast more times than I've seen Sleeping Beauty.” JungleQueen13

2nd Songs
The Little Mermaid
Favorite Song: Kiss the Girl
Least Favorite Song: Daughters of Triton
Can you guys give me your vote about my prom play Little Mermaid music at it? (Well not kiss the girl because we’re homeschoolers and we don’t kiss Well I would but I don’t have me my man yet). Anyway the singing for this film is amazing! The cast is great my personally favorite song is Fathoms Below because I like when men sing. Moving on to number one!

Comments
” These songs are just kinda meh to me compared to all of the amazing songs in Pocahontas.” CRaZy_rawR
” Both have great songs, but I think objectively Pocahontas' songs are collectively superior; even the ones I don't like aren't especially bad (just not my taste), which is more than can be said for 'Daughters of Triton' or 'Les Poissons' in TLM.” Mongoose09

1st Scores
Beauty and the Beast
Score done by Alan Menken
*Fanpop users, get ready to hear princecatcher93 say something*
Well, Beauty and the Beast won, I will say yay for it and good job for winning best score. My favorite score is West Wing in fact that is the only score I remember from it.

Comments
” You have to have at least some sort of appreciation for Sleeping Beauty's score. But, I enjoy listening to BatB's more and find it more enchanting.” dimitri_
” HOW DARE I TURN ON MY BELOVED SLEEPING BEAUTY...especially for One of my least favorite DP movies?
Both are absolutely incredible, but I can't deny the enchantment and goosebumps of BATB's music. I feel horrible, because I love Sleeping Beauty's score so much...” MalloMar

1st Song
Pocahontas
Favorite Song: Colors of the Wind
Least Favorites Song: The Virginia Company
To make up for the fact that the score lost. Pocahontas has so of the best songs, their worst songs are at the same level as some of the other films best songs. You need a sweater to listen to this soundtrack because you will get Goosebumps.
Comments
” BY FAR! Every single song, even The Virginia Company, Mine, Mine, Mine, Listen With Your Heart, and Steady As A Beating Drum is a masterpiece to me!” dclairmont
” Pretty close as I love both soundtracks and they both have some fantastic songs, but I think the worst songs of Pocahontas are of a higher standard than the worst songs of The Little Mermaid.” JungleQueen13

Finally the final Rank!
First place is 11 points and last place in 1 point. Please Comment if I got the math wrong (That’s to you Math Boy!) because I know I did.
11th The Princess and the Frog
10th Brave
9th Aladdin’
8th Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
7th Tangled
6th Cinderella
5th Sleeping Beauty
4th Mulan
3rd Pocahontas
2nd The Little Mermaid
1st Beauty and the Beast
I hope you enjoyed my countdown. Please comment if you agree or disagree with any of the placements or with the over all placement.
1. How does it feel to be Fan of the Month?
I was Fan of the Month once a long time ago and while back then it was a bit of a shock this time, it's not that surprising :) I don't mean that in a self-centered way, comparing to how active I was in the past to now, I like to think I'm somewhat well-known for a ton of users here like KataraLover or sunnyfields. I'm honored to be the first Fan of the Month since it has been brought back.

2. Who is your favorite princess and why?
My favorite princess is Mulan because I used to relate to not being good enough for my family and wanted to do something...

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning
Last time watched: 2008

How much did I like this movie as a kid?

I didn't. Like, at all. In fact, after we see how Ariel's mom died that was it for me. Okay, so let me start from the beginning; If you've read my articles about TLM and TLM 2, you know that TLM is one of my most favorite movies and was a huge part of my childhood so when I was 15 years old I found out that there was going to be another movie of course I was excited!...

Snow White

Snow White is well known for her kindness and optimism — both of which act as her greatest strengths, as they've guided her safely through the various hardships faced throughout her life. She is quick to charm, winning the trust and admiration of the Prince, forest animals, and the Seven Dwarfs rather quickly, proving her kindness and pleasant aura makes her a beloved figure. Coined as the "Fairest One of All", Snow White's beauty lies both within her physical appearance and pure heart. With no negativity within her, Snow...

Favorite Aladdin
O 5
R 1
O and R 1

Personally, I thought Mena did a great job for the most part, but Aladdin was changed from being a confident smooth talker to a socially awkward dork (and I mean dork in a nice way). The original Aladdin had a couple awkward moments where he stumbled over the right words or said the wrong thing but they barely happened. Remake Aladdin suddenly became incredibly awkward at the drop of the hat at one point in the movie. Some people probably...

"Perfect"
"Perfect"
Some people say he's forgettable but I think people automatically dismiss him just because he's not dramatic, theatrical and "hammy" like other Disney villains. I personally think he's pretty badass and ruthless.

Shan Yu is actually kind of similar to Mulan in that while everyone agrees that they both do remarkable things, some people think their personalities are on the boring side but I think it's unfair to dismiss any princess who isn't overtly dreamy, bubbly or feisty in some way (Mulan) and any villain who isn't over the top and in your face (Shan Yu) as boring. There are other ways to...

Hi guys, this list is something like the K-Pop list that I made previously. Only this time, it's their Japanese counterparts. Ready?

1) Moonlight Densetsu (DALI)

Taken from the popular Japanese anime, Sailor Moon. This song has always been part of my childhood and being a Die-Hard Sailor Moon fan, the princess will support them, especially on International Women's Day!

2) Shunken Sentimental (Scandal)

This is the first time that I'm listening to it, and while doing so, I notice that it sounds like some of Paramore's songs. In particularly, Misery Business.

3) Hitohira No Hanabira (Stereopony)

Well, I'm here to show my reasons why I like Frozen’s Princess Anna (who is hated by some and loved by others). But, let's go to my reasons:
First that she is an active and emotionally strong character (yes, she may not fight with swords or bows like Merida or Mulan that are among my favorites, or have ice powers like Elsa), but she did admirable things throughout the movie like going after her sister who was isolated (even though she knew she could die from her uncontrollable powers or lost/hungry/frozen) and did not give up on her when she asked for it. And I admire this type of female...

Anna and Elsa hadn't fought crime as Super Chocolate Lover and Super Icicles in a few months. There were lesser crimes going on so the 2 sisters took a break from fighting crime.

It was early in the morning. Anna danced into the living room and said "I have news."

Elsa asked "What's going on?"

Anna replied "It's been reported that some gold nearby has stolen."

Elsa stated "Well I'm sure the police will take care of it."

Anna said "Instead of just waiting for heroes to come save the gold we should be the heroes."

Elsa asked "You wanna fight crime in those Captain...

Princess Anna and Queen Elsa were relaxing in the living room of the kingdom. Anna asked "Do you miss swimming?"

Elsa said "Well I guess I do."

Anna said "Well my related friend I have a answer to your problem."

Elsa said "Problem?"

Anna said "Yes. We haven't swam in months, but don't worry. I found a private lake near the kingdom that'll be perfect for us."

Elsa said "Are sure it's a private lake? I don't wanna share a lake with like 50 people."

Anna said "Don't worry. I've been to this lake...
