As many of you know, I have been conducting a countdown of the most popular love's first kiss scenes. It's been a lot of fun and I'm glad so many people participated! I must say, though, that I find it hilarious that each poll had about 40 participants and less than half of them commented. I mean it even says in the title that your vote won't count unless you leave a comment! It doesn't particularly bother me, I have plenty of quotes as it is, I just find it funny. :P On to the results...

8. Cinderella and Charming's kiss

At first I was surprised that they were the first couple to go, considering that their love story is so adored and they are recognized universally. But on second thought it made sense. Fans described it as being passionless, boring, and even unnecessary.

Due to the fact that their lips don't actually touch when you look at it good. ~Jayden-G
It's too short, not as good the others. ~anonheart998
It was cute and classic, biut just not as sweet as the others. ~MalloMar
This kiss is really boring. ~BraBrief
it's just so lame ~pretty_angel92
I just like the others more ~LibelluleBleu
it is too forced, not passionate at all. ~dancing_dear
Their lips don't even touch... ~MissAngelPaws
Unnecessary kiss... ~disneygirl7
I'm actually pretty surprised Cindy and Charming are winning, since it's such a classic kiss. Still, I agree with it ~dclairmont

7. Rapunzel and Eugene's kiss

There's not much I can say about this couple. They went early because the kiss looked awkward, and a lot of people just thought others were better. The really touching moment of this movie was when Eugene sacrificed his life for Rapunzel's safety - the kiss was more of an afterthought.

I never like this kiss. Especially when it's Rapunzel who kisses him first. :P ~LightningRed
UGH. ~mhs1025
it seems too rushed, weird, like their lips doesn't match... i can't explain it...anyway, i said the same before. ~PociandSmith
less cute and touching as others ~girlygirlspwn
I'm not a big fan of this kiss. ~MissAngelPaws
Ruined by the line "I always preferred brunettes" ~ dancing_dear

6. Ariel and Eric's kiss

A number of people had been arguing for this kiss to leave since the beginning, and during this round it was finally time for it to go. Like Rapunzel and Eugene's kiss, it seemed like an afterthought. "Oh hey it all worked out ok. I guess it's time for a kiss." Fans also didn't like that it cut straight to the wedding and you didn't get to see their reactions to their first kiss.

This kiss really needs to go soon. Like I said, there is no spark, build up, interest, and the musk did not really reflect the feelings at the moment as well as it could. The kiss is not really passionate either. I just don't see of feel the spark when I see their kiss. You also don't see how they feel after the kiss ends. ~Jayden-G
I know I said Aurora and Philip before, but like Jayden-G said, this kiss has no emotion in it ~disneygirl7
It's kind of flat. I love the happy moment when she comes out of the water in that dress, but their kiss just isn't my favorite. At least they finally did! ~MalloMar
Ariel and Eric's kiss just leaves me feeling nothing. I'm happy they're together, but I don't feel the passion. ~dclairmont
nothing special ~pretty_angel92
It is not romantic just more of a "relieved it all worked out kiss". ~dancing_dear
They're like.. "Oh it's over, wanna kiss?" xD Nothing really lead up to that. ~CRaZy_rawR

The long awaited kiss.
The long awaited kiss.

5. Snow White and Prince's kiss

Personally I was sad to see this kiss go so early as it's one of my favorites. It may not be passionate, but it's very sweet and the sadness you can see in his posture speaks volumes. He loved her and now he has to say goodbye. I think it's incredibly romantic, however fans said they didn't like the fact that he was kissing a girl who was presumed to be dead. I will admit that it does seem rather odd.

No passion he is kissing her dead body good bye. Yes, it breaks the spell but still. ~dancing_dear
not romantic ~retrolove83
Agreed ^^ ~CRaZy_rawR
Yeah, while Ariel and Eric barely had passion, they have none. Also, it is weird that you are kissing someone presumed to be dead to say goodbye. It is very short, and she is unaware of it so it takes away the feeling from the kiss. ~Jayden-G
Phillip knew his kiss would wake up Aurora unlike Prince. It's goodbye kiss. ~fiina
not as passionate as the others ~Libellulebleu
She already asleep for few month! And then comes a prince and kiss her O.O ~3xZ

4. Aurora and Phillip's kiss

It was no surprise that they were the next couple to go, seeing as their kiss is practically identical to Snow White and Prince's. The only difference is that Phillip knows the kiss will awaken Aurora.

I guess. It is quick, no passion, and it takes away feeling when one oersted is not aware of the kiss. It's nice, but it is time for it to go. ~Jayden-G
This is my least favorite. ~LightningRed
Phillip is just kissing Aurora to wake her up nothing special ~dancing_dear
This kiss is just so bleh, I'm surprised it made it this far... ~dclairmont
Aurora and Phillip's kiss must go. It is lifeless. ~PociandSmith
Same as Snow's and Prince's, he's kissing a girl who is virtually dead... kinda creepy ~Flutey_Girl96
she's not conscious...so nowadays it could be deemed sexual harassment or something. ~retrolove83
Meh ~disneygirl7
wondering why the hell this is still here ~pretty_angel92

The prophesied kiss.
The prophesied kiss.

3. Pocahontas and John's kiss

Oh my goodness I was sooo glad to finally see this kiss go. The first part was amazing and beautiful and passionate and then THEY GET INTERRUPTED! Never ever ever never interrupt a love's first kiss. Ever.

It got interrupted. Never interrupt a kiss. ~Beastlysoul25
I'd have to agree with Beastlysoul25. ~ApplesauceDoctr
Yeah, it's time for them to go. It does come out of nowhere and it is nice, but we don't see their reactions after the kiss and the moment ends up being forgotten right after because of Kocuom's attack and death. Plus, the other three kisses are better. ~Jayden-G
I'm gone for like a week and this is still here? Someone please knock me out. ~princecatcher93
the others are more passionate! ~BraBrief

The forbidden kiss.
The forbidden kiss.

2. Aladdin and Jasmine's kiss

I'm glad this couple made it this far, but by this round it was time for them to go. Though a very cute kiss it didn't seem congruent with their personalities, and a lot of fans just thought the remaining kisses were a lot better.

Definitely ~dclairmont
For Jasmine and Aladdin it's kind of dull compared to the other two. ~princecatcher93
It was extremely painful for me to vote for them, but I had to. A commenter already said that they are already a sensual couple and because IT IS THEM, it is kind of dull. It also seemed more like lust's first kiss than love, as the other two couple's kisses are more pure. ~Jayden-G
I voted for Naveen and Tiana last round, but I changed my mind. This is a sweet "Finally!" moment, but the ther two are so much more satisfying. ~MalloMar
Egh, same reason. ~LightningRed
Mostly because I really like the other two kisses. ~AllegroGiocoso
The magic carpet pushes Aladdin up to kiss her and they already a sensual couple so it was never a HUGE deal. ~dancing_dear

The unexpected kiss.
The unexpected kiss.

1. Tied for first place! Belle and Adam's kiss and Tiana and Naveen's kiss!

I have to admit that I was shocked to see this happen. I thought for sure that Belle and Adam would leave their adversaries in the dust, but the poll was tied and there was an equal number of comments for each couple. At first I thought Belle and Adam had just barely beat out Tiana and Naveen, but then I realized that one user had commented twice for the latter couple, so the end result was a tie! These kisses are both incredibly passionate and loved by all the fans - both are worthy of first place.

Comments against Belle and Adam's kiss:
I love both kisses, but I think Tiana and Naveen's is more passionate. ~euny
i just feel like this kiss is very, VERY cliché.... ~pretty_angel92
Both are great and all, but I liked tiana and maven kiss better. Maybe it's be because prince maven s way cuter then Adam..... ~pookafusmcgee
Yeah, this will win just because it is Belle and Adam. Everyone loves this couple, their movie, their soundtrack... Ugh,.............. Adam stop eating Belle's face, she's not a cookie, she's a woman. There's no real movement, just Adam's eating progress. Tia and Naveen's kiss was awesome. There was passion, love and the colors were beautiful. Naveen's face looked so full of peace and love during and after their kiss. ~PociandSmith
what pretty angel said. it also isnt as cute. i think its a pretty overrated kiss. ~girlygirlspwn
Okay both kisses are kind of the same but really different at the same time. Adam and Belle's kiss Beast just became human and again and so it was like, "At last I can kiss you" kiss and it a bit passion for a children's film. Plus the fireworks wreaked it. While Tiana and Naveen's they kissed as frogs and the magic covered them and they became humans, I love it how at the end of their kiss they look at each other and smile then noticed, "Hey we're not frogs," and I love how Tiana says, "You just kissed yourselves a princess." And Naveen said, "I did and I'll kiss her again." Out of the two couples you can kind of feel that Tiana and Naveen loved each other more and their kiss meant more to me. ~princecatcher93
I just love this. The reactions after is awesome. A lot of the DP movies don't have after reactions to the kiss. *cough cough Belle & Adam, Ariel & Eric* xD ~CRaZy_rawR
"You are alive? and suddenly hot? I will forget how you abused me...lets get it on!" Seriously not a fan of this couple even thought the kiss is somewhat magical. Tiana and Naveen's kiss is the plot twist of the movie! She becomes a princess when they get married and the spell is broken. But they loved each other so much they were content just being together as frogs before they knew it would break the spell. ~dancing_dear

Comments against Tiana and Naveen's kiss:
No Disney kiss can ever pass Belle and Beast. Just so much passion for any kiss to beat it. I also want to add that Belle and Beast's kiss looks so sweet and romantic and passionate that I want a kiss just like it. I long for it. There's no other Disney kiss that makes me long for it. ~SarahCorine
I agree with SarahCorine. Nobody could never ever beat Belle and Adam's kiss. It is the most enchanting kiss of all kisses! ~Beastlysoul25
Belle and Beast's kiss is better for sure! ~LightningRed
Belle and Adam's kiss is second on my ranking, so...... ~BraBrief
I cannot believe they made it this far. They never make it far on any countdown...... Good for them. Yeah, this kiss is passionate, but it does not compare to Belle and Beast. Their reactions are great though. ~Jayden-G
Belle and Beast's is really passionate IMO. ~AllegroGiocoso
Both are really nice, but I think that Belle and Adam's kiss is more passionate and intimate ~Flutey_Girl96
In my opinon, they don't deserve the top 2,their kiss was meh. ~Libellulebleu
I don't think either should be in the top 2 though. ~dimitri_

Everyone's reaction to fanfiction
Everyone's reaction to fanfiction
I love reading fanfiction. Especially the really stupid ones where some Mary Sue meets Justin Bieber at Starbucks and two minutes later, she's pregnant.
Anyway, Disney fanfiction is usually read-able... usually.

Now, I don't write fanfiction. Frankly, I'm far too lazy to finish a full story, although I am quite imaginative and I do feel that I understand the characters well enough to do an okay job in portraying them. A big problem in Disney fanfiction, and fanfiction in general, is that authors often misunderstand the characters.

In this article, I am going to focus solely on high school AUs,...

The first Disney Princess Movie I watched was Sleeping Beauty when I was a little girl. I liked Aurora, Phillip and the fairy sequences but when Maleficent came on I got bored and hid behind the settee. Causing my mum to think I was scared of Maleficent. My mum wondered if I wanted it to be turned off. I said no. I sat on the settee and watched the ending, which I loved.

I think I then saw the Princess movies in this order - I definitely saw either The Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast at the cinema for the second release but I can't remember which one:
1. The Little Mermaid
2. Beauty and...

" I am the prettiest!" LOL
I was thinking about this a long time ago. The beauty of a princess varies for everyone, but in their own movies, princesses are described as "the most beautiful". There is no beauty problem in every princess, especially those who have love at first sight, and they live a comfortable love life thanks to this beauty. Outward appearances play a big part in the princesses' happy ending. But what if they weren't pretty? How would their lives change? Now we're going to look at that.

Cinderella
Cinderella would never have had a happy ending without her beauty. Because the prince at the ball saw her...

I decided that they both have very similar and different points, and now let's review them.

Similarities.
Moana and Pocahontas are both islanders. They live naturally and the design of their houses is almost the same.

They both love their country very much.

They both know their country's traditions well, but they don't say no to learning different traditions.

They're both doing something illegal. Something their fathers forbade.

Changes

While Moana is not interested in romance, Pocahontas is looking for her love.

Pocahontas responds more seriously, while Moana laughs at everything.

Moana wants to go...

Snow White: 16th Century Germany
Though the movie never explains where they take place, it is said to be set there since it was based off the Brother’s Grimm.

Cinderella: 19th Century France
Disney’s first film ever set in France though not explicitly. Evidence is that the words like ‘mademoiselle’ ‘Château’ and Tremaine is a French surname.

Sleeping Beauty (Sleeping Beauty): Most likely Late 14th Century France
While some people argue that it’s set in either England or Germany, the movie NEVER explains where they took place though I have many evidence why it was believed to be...

Hello everybody! Felt that writing bug back in me, and the one article I've noticed I haven’t done yet is the Disney Princess movies of course! And with our latest addition Moana. Hope you all enjoy, after all these are just my opinions.

I don’t know why, but I’ve never really liked this movie. I’m not very knowledgeable on Scottish mythos or culture, so I was excited to see it, but it turns out that there just wasn’t enough magic in charm in it for me. I really liked that it was a classical story about a witch, a princess, and a spell, but going to the movie really...

Tangled: The Series, now called Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, premiered in March 2017 with the pilot movie, Tangled: Before Ever After (hopefully that sentence wasn't too confusing!). The film sees Rapunzel adjusting to life in Corona and introduces several concepts that the rest of the series will explore: Rapunzel's golden hair growing back, the growth of magical spiky rocks that can devastate Corona, foes with a thirst for revenge, Rapunzel and Eugene's marriage, and Rapunzel learning how to become a good queen.

At first, I was surprised that Tangled was getting a TV show. Even though I quite...

Hi guys, so this article is literary my first impressions on the 2017 live-action reboot of the Disney Classic that we all grew up with it.

The Cast

I was initially a little disappointed that Disney didn't get either Emmy Rossum or Anne Hathaway for Belle, but one problem with the latter is that Anne will be typecast as a royalty. So, Emmy would be the possible choice due to her singing experience.
Whereas the Beast may either be play by Gerard Butler, Patrick Wilson or Joaquin Phoenix, but with Emmy as Belle. It would be like Gerry has played the Phantom's ancestor while Emmy is Christine's...

Hi guys, I'm going to be writing why I felt that Cinderella is better than Beauty and the Beast. No, it's not their animated counterparts, I'm referring to their respective live-action counterparts.

The Characters

In Cinderella, the title character's role was expanded unlike her animated counterpart. Her character development has significantly improve and I'm very happy about it, because we get to more about Cinderella and how she got her trademark name. Which is taken from the original fairy-tale!
Whereas in Beauty and the Beast, they actually copycat the animated feature, Belle's and the...
