Finally it's time to list my favorite DP speaking voices. This was thougher to do because I love all of their speaking voices. Image credit goes to disneyscreencaps.com.

10. Pocahontas (voiced by Irene Bedard)
"Look around you, this is where the path of hating has brought us"
"Look around you, this is where the path of hating has brought us"

I like her speaking voice better than her singing voice, but it's still not good enough to make it higher on my list. I think Irene should have done the singing voice of Pocahontas because she is more suiting for the character.

9. Belle (voiced by Paige O Hara)
"Well, some people uses their imatinations"
"Well, some people uses their imatinations"

Don't get me wrong, she has a nice speaking voice, but I just love the others better. It still sounds too old for her, but it's still pretty. Am I the only one, but her speaking voice reminds me a little bit of Cinderella's?

8. Aurora (voiced by Mary Costa)
"Oh, no he is not a stranger, we've met before"
"Oh, no he is not a stranger, we've met before"

This is how her singing voice should have been like, sweet and innocent, but she still sounds too old. Apart from that she still sounds the same, but it's weird that it seems like she has two different actresses, actually when I first listened to her voice I thought that Mary couldn't have done both the speaking and singing voice for Aurora.

7. Jasmine (voiced by Linda Larkin)
"I'm not a prize to be won"
"I'm not a prize to be won"

I love her speaking voice a lot better than her singing voice, but I still love the others better. From now on I'm talking about a really strong love, the earlier ones was a ordinary love, not a strong love, but still love (almost like). I really think Linda should do the singing voice instead of Liz (singing voice of Jasmine in sequeals).

6. Mulan (voiced by Ming Na)
"Don't worry father, I won't let you down"
"Don't worry father, I won't let you down"

Another speaking voice that I love way better than the singing voice. I think Ming should do the singing voice instead of Lea. I just think her speaking voice is really pretty (sorry for not explaining why I placed them as I did, but it's hard to explain why because it's hard to rank a speaking voice, a singing voice is simple because then you can hear if there are any mistakes, you can't hear that in a speaking voice).

5. Ariel (voiced by Jodi Benson)
"I have never seen a human this close before"
"I have never seen a human this close before"

Sorry for that I almost copy my favorite singing voice list, the only difference is that number 8 and 9 switch place, other than that the list is exactly the same. I love this voice better than the singing voice because she sounds better and it's more pretty. I especially love her voice when she says the quote you can read in the image, she sounds so dreamy and the voice is so pretty.

4. Rapunzel (voiced by Mandy Moore)
"I'll give you your satch if you take me to see the lanterns"
"I'll give you your satch if you take me to see the lanterns"

Such a pretty speaking voice, but she dosen't beat my top 3, they all have such pretty voices.

3. Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose)
"There is no way I'm kissing a frog and eating a bug on the same day"
"There is no way I'm kissing a frog and eating a bug on the same day"

Wonderful speaking voice. They chose the perfect actress for Tiana because it's taking place in the south and than the actress should have a southern accent which Anika has.

2. Cinderella (voiced by Ilene Woods)
"You mean old thing, just wait til I teach you a lesson"
"You mean old thing, just wait til I teach you a lesson"

Another great choice for a speaking voice, this is one of the sweetest speaking voices I have ever heard and it suits her perfectly. But she dosen't beat my number 1.

1. Snow White (voiced by Adriana Caselotti)
"Oh you must be Grumpy"
"Oh you must be Grumpy"

The best speaking voice in my opinion. It suits her perfectly because she is supposed to be younger than the other princesses which means that they have to make her sound like a child. I have to say that Carolyn Gardner (the current voice) does a great job too for being modern, but she dosen't make it as good as Adriana did. I have to mention that this was Adriana's only big movie role, she did a small apperance in The Wizard of Oz where she sang "Where art thou Romeo".

I have been inspired by other articles of defending the Walt era princesses on this website. I thought I would write my own article because I also get upset when people bash the Walt era princesses.

The Walt era princesses get a lot of flack for being anti-feminist. This really irritates me. People have to realize when these films came out, social norms were different back then. Snow White was released in 1937, Cinderella was released in 1950, & Sleeping Beauty was released in 1959, that was 78, 65 & 56 years ago! On top of that these films are based on fairytales that were written centuries...

I haven't done a disney princess list in a long especially since Frozen has come out and I was completely surprised how much my list has changed since the last time I posted so here we go...

13*Jasmine

I've never really liked Jasmine I've always found her a little to headstrong, stubborn, and bratty however I do admire her kindness and can definitely connect with her on not wanting to be forced into something you don't want to feel free to be able to make your own choices not to mention she has very good acting skills! If she wasn't a princess she would be a great actress and performer.
