9.Aurora
Aurora would be an uninteresting, unrelatable, totally foolish, useless princess to Mulan. There is nothing about Aurora that Mulan would appreciate.

8.Rapunzel
Mulan would be annoyed at a lot of the foolish things Rapunzel does. There would be, to Mulan, a lot more bad things than good. She would dislike the choices Rapunzel makes and just find her too childish.

7.Snow White
Mulan would find her cute and funny, but there would be no admiration for her, even though she would understand her position. She'll appreciate her, but not care too much about her.

6.Ariel
Mulan would find her really funny, feminine and bubbly, but won't relate to her that much. Mulan would find Ariel a little foolish but in an understandable way, and not stupid. She wouldn't wish for any of Ariel's qualities. She would like her, but not be crazy about her.

5.Cinderella
Mulan would like her subtle sarcasm and how she responds to people so calmly. She would admire her standing up to her stepmother without losing her cool, and fighting given her situation. Mulan would like Cinderella's intelligence and dignity, and would care more for the type of wit Cinderella has, as well as her levelhead and common sense.

4.Pocahontas
Mulan would admire Pocahontas' wisdom, calm, and serious strength, both inner and out. She would love how sporty and athletic Pocahontas is, while still keeping her femininity, and would admire Pocahontas' concern for her tribe, but perhaps find her a bit too different and not understandable.

3.Tiana
They would really relate to one another with trying to overcome situations bigger than themselves (segregation for Tiana, gender for Mulan.) She works hard not for herself, but for her father. She is assertive and doesn't take any crap from Naveen, and she fights for her dream the best she could, not sitting back. She is very smart and very resourceful, yet she has a fun side to her as well. But there would be nothing about Tiana Mulan would admire that much, because she doesn't have qualities Mulan doesn't already have. She wouldn't like how Tiana is easily ruffled, and given the type of intelligence Mulan likes, and how that's her favorite quality, she would prefer the two above. It's just the way Mulan thinks. She prefers admirability to relatability.

2.Belle
She would find Belle to be interesting, brave, and relate to how she was an outcast and a anomaly to her village. And she would love how Belle didn't care. She would love how sophisticated she is, and how she's not naive, and how she honors her word. She would love how she saves the Beast after he saves her, because she admires trustworthiness and keeping a promise. She would just love everything about Belle's actions.

1.Jasmine
Mulan would like her self confidence, they she finds solutions for problems and how she figures things out. She would LOVE Jasmine's cleverness, how she won't let herself be used, and how she talks back. She would love how she doesn't follow the norm and is always strong and confident. Mulan would like how Jasmine handles people around her and really wish she was like that. Mulan would envy and admire her quick wit and how she deals with shallow men. She would really love Jasmine.

Hello Kenny.
Hello Kenny.
Okay, since I had done with Enya. Now it's Kenny G's turn! Are you ready?

1. Songbird

Whenever I listened to this music, Snow White would come to my mind since she loves birds, especially during the 'With a Smile and a Song' and the 'Working Song' scene.

2. By the Time the Night is Over

Ella and Kit/ Cinderella and Prince Charming, I personally think it suits the latter more because when the night is over, he will find the mysterious girl that fits the glass slipper.

3. Heart and Soul

Princess Aurora and Prince Philip will dance together to this music, especially during 'Once upon a Dream' and...

Hey everyone! This is my second countdown in the series, and it was a short one since there are only three yellow dresses and one orange dress among the DPs. Despite that, I thought it was a good countdown.

4. Tiana's orange dress

I don't think this dress is ugly, but most users agreed that it was very plain, and some didn't like the color on Tiana very much.

It's not as cute as the others and it's not iconic like Belle and Snow White's dress. ~SarahCorine
It is also nice, but others are just better. ~hirohamada
Orange is not a flattering color on Tiana. ~wavesurf

Hey everyone! So this is the first culminating article in a series of countdowns that I am doing. There will be one for each color of outfit. The winning outfit in each countdown will then continue on to a final countdown which will determine Fanpop's number one DP outfit. Enjoy! :)

9. Mulan's pink and blue underclothes

I didn't mind this outfit. In fact, I quite liked the contrast between the blue top and pink bottom. However, most users disagreed, finding it too plain.

Unremarkable. ~Silverrose1991
It's very plain and is just undergarments ~KataraLover

Loving this movie.
Loving this movie.
Okay, I was watching the 2012 version of Les Miserables last night and I had seen the 2015 reboot of Cinderella last month. Both movies have a common theme with each other: Forgiveness. The characters also play a similar traits to each other.

Cinderella

While watching this movie last month, I keep thinking that the story reminds me of Les Miserables! Aside from the same filming location of France, certain scenes and characters remind of some characters from Les Miserables.
For example, during the scene after Lady Tremaine and the 2 stepsisters called Ella by her trademark name, Cinderella. The...

Hey there! I'm isabellagirl033 and as you all are well aware Cinderella has been adapted many times into live-action movies though only some manage to truely be a hit. I'm going to break down some of my favourite portrayals into my Top 5.

5. Hillary Duff, A Cinderella Story
Despite it's cringe-worthiness and lack of loyalty to it's source, I still managed to enjoy the movie. Tween icon Hillary Duff is the last thing that comes into my mind when I think of Cinderella but she made a convincing one at that. I think this spot goes to Hillary Duff mostly due to...

I have already done this, a few months ago actually and I decided to do it again. My opinion has changed a lot, because a lot of people have made good points and so many of these good points have changed my opinion quite s bit.

13. Aurora

It's not so much that I dislike her, it's just I found her kind of bland in her movie. She was boring, though I enjoyed her sweet personality. I get she had to sleep, it was simply a part of her story, but I just didn't get to know her much. I know it sounds kind of unfair, but I find it hard to place her higher.

12. Pocahontas

I don't dislike her...

Hi guys, since Frozen has took the world by storm, this article is basically about my initial impressions about the story-line, the songs and music, as well as the art and characters' designs back in 2003, 10 years before the movie that took the world by storm.

The Story

When I first heard that Disney was going to adapt the Snow Queen, my first impression was that it was going to be faithful towards the original story by Hans Christian Anderson. Secondly, I thought that it was about 2 sisters who one of them discover to have ice powers, according to a prophecy, were separated since they were...

Hi everyone!

In this article, I’m going to compare two movies from the Disney Revival, one revolving around a lost princess with magical golden hair, and the other revolving around two sisters, one of whom is a queen with ice powers.

Part A.    Which is the "better" movie?

Tangled has a more cohesive plot and seems to me to have deeper characters that interact superbly with each other. Emotions and thoughts were successfully conveyed with an abundance of facial expressions. The hair animation was astounding, but the skin and eyes could sometimes seem plastic-like or lifeless....

12) The Princess and the Frog
I'm not positive but I think this has a somewhat large fanbase on Fanpop? Even if it doesn't, I don't think that I'll ever adore this film. I'll start with the positives. I LOVE Down in New Orleans and basically the whole beginning. When Tiana is human, it's actually very entertaining. I adore Lottie, and it just is, for lack of better word, better during this part of the film. It's funnier and much, much less obnoxious. I like Facilier and Tiana and Naveen is hilarious at times, but the second half of the film...oh lord. It's so annoying...half the time I can't...

This is my ranking of the princes. This is probably going to be one of my harder articles so please don't be rude.

12. Hans- I can't even describe how much I dislike this character. I hate the idea that the handsome prince has to be a jerk. One of the things I really hate about Frozen is that it mocks the love at first sight of the Walt era princess films. Yes you don't marry a guy you just met but I think most people are smart enough to know that, it's just common sense, yes there is no such thing as love at first sight but that's because they're fairytales and fairytales aren't suppose to...

“Rapunzel” is the kind of story that consistently ranks highly in people’s lists of their favorite fairy tales. With a dramatic plot, interesting characters, symbolic motifs, and the underlying theme of the redeeming power of love, the tale certainly seems to deserve such adoration. Grimm’s version of the story is perhaps the most known retelling,
Grimm's Rapunzel
Grimm's Rapunzel
although that may have changed as of 2010 with Disney’s adaptation, Tangled, a movie just as rife with symbolism as its literary inspiration. Although both are variations on the Rapunzel narrative, Disney’s movie veers...

After seeing Sweetie94's prettiest disney princess list, I wanted to make one of mine as well. I'm not really a fan of the beauty of modern princesses, I find them rather too doll types, somehow. So they are all ranking low on my list. Hope you'll enjoy it, here it goes:

13. Elsa:
Eh, are her eyes for real? Way too big on her face and her lips are so thin. She does have that barbie doll kind of look to her. She has an unbalanced face proportion, her upper portion of face is too big as compared to the lower portion and that gives her an unnatural look, imo. I quite like her hair though, snow blonde,...
