Hey everybody! I saw a lot of articles on here about "pretty disney princesses" and thought I would write one too. Keep in mind, this is just my opinion. If you disagree then do something productive, like write an article yourself! Please no negative comments. Thanks(:

#1!
Belle
Belle is absolutely beautiful! Personally, Belle is my favorite. I think it's good that Disney made a princess that wasn't typical blonde haired-blue eyed (not that there's anything wrong with that!). Plus she has a beautiful heart shaped face, almond shaped chocolate brown eyes, and bow shaped lips. Also she's very kind, intelligent, and sees the best in people!

#2!
Megara
Megara is gorgeous! She has long brown hair, purple eyes (which are extremely cool, and sometimes look brown), but her voice is what I like! Not just her singing voice but her regular voice. It's very different. Anyway, not only is she pretty but she is very loving and sacrificed herself for the person she loved. How sweet.

#3!
Esmerelda
Esmerelda is extremely pretty. She has long black curly hair, bright green eyes, and very tan skin. She is a good dancer also and has a cool goat. The only thing I will say is bad about her is that she has a short forehead in some scenes, but everybody (and every character) has flaws and that's a good thing. Not only is she pretty but she also cares about people's personality, not their looks.

#4!
Ariel
Ariel is very different from the rest of the Disney characters. And that's a good thing! She is, of course, beautiful with bright red hair, flawless skin, and big blue eyes. She is also very adventerous and would do anything to save the ones she loves.

#5!
Cinderella
To me Cinderella is the most popular princess. When I was little she was my favorite and I find that's the way it is for many little kids. But maybe I'm wrong. Oh well! Anyway Cinderella is very pretty with golden blonde hair and sparkling bue eyes. She also has long, dark eyelashes and pretty pale skin. She's very kind, likes animals, and isn't selfish. Her tale is a good example of going from nothing to a kingdom, plus she got her dream man along the way!

#5!
Jasmine
Jasmine is beautiful. She has long black hair, tan skin, and big brown eyes. I like that her nose is bigger and different from the other Disney Princesses. It's still pretty though! She also has a really cool tiger with an awesome name. Jasmine is very adventerous, and a little bit stubborn. But she's not into material things, and is very loyal!

#6!
Aurora (aka Sleeping Beauty)
Aurora is very pretty. Her tale is kind of boring in my own opinion. She is very pretty though. She has long blonde hair, violet eyes, and long eyelashes. She seems like a sweet gal, although the movie doesn't reveal much about her personality. Oh well, I'm sure she's nice.

#7!
Alice
Alice is very cute! In case you don't know, I'm referring to Alice from Alice in Wonderland (animated version). She has long blonde hair and blue eyes. But what's cute to me about her is her personality. She's very creative but she also is stubborn and is always stuck in the clouds. But hey! She's just a kid and a good imagination is key to great ideas.

#8!
Jane from Tarzan
Jane comes off as a bit stuck up to begin with. But as the movie progresses it's unraveled that she cares a lot about animals and humans. She tries all she can to protect Tarzan and the apes. Not only is she kind, but she's pretty with longish brown hair and bright blue eyes. She's also very smart!

#9!
Mulan
Mulan is cute. She has long slick black hair, golden brown eyes, pale skin, and a small plum-shaped mouth. I think it's great that Disney made a movie that focused on other ethnicities. Mulan is very caring, and even though she's a bit of a klutz, she will do anything to protect the ones she loves.

Last but not least, #10!
Silvermist
Silvermist is one of Tinker Bell's fairy friends from Pixie Hollow. She may or may not have been in Peter Pan, I don't know I haven't seen the movie in a while. What strikes me about her is that she has super long blue/black hair. In some cases she has brown eyes, in other blue. Both look good on her. I don't know much about her personality besides that she's nice and that she's a water fairy I believe.

Well everybody here's my list! Sorry for any spelling or grammar errors. I know the pictures are all messed up and out of order but this is my first time writing an article and I haven't figured out how to get them in the order I want. Like I said these are only characters I can remember and there might be more out there that you favor more. I know Snow White isn't on the list, but to be honest I don't think she's all that pretty. She has a good personality though, and she'd definetely be in my top 20. If any of you have requests for me to make more lists on different subjects than you can just message me and I'll try my best. If not then I hope you enjoyed reading my list!

p.s. I have the links under the pictures for copyright reasons or if any of you want to examine the pictures closer.

We'll be excluding Frozen in this countdown.

Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, here with an evaluation of the theatrical posters for the 11 Disney Princess films. To determine which posters are the greatest, I've considered three factors:

1) The design (including layout and color scheme)
2) Intrigue (the strategy involved in "selling" the film, or influencing moviegoers to see it; includes the design, tagline, and impression)
3) Reflection of the film (how accurate of a representation the poster is of the movie it's advertising)

I'm attempting to look at each category objectively, but that may be difficult for the third one. My perception of...

Since nobody had done this, I thought that I could write this article since I love Enya's songs!

1) Fairytale

The 3 classic princesses will definitely love this song, as the title says it all. The music is very soothing and yet at the same time mesmerizing!

2) Wild Child

Ariel and Jasmine are considered fiercely independent, so this song suits their spunky background!

3) Anywhere Is

Belle wants adventure, so this energetic song suits her. Especially during the 'Belle Reprise' scene!

4) Memory of Trees

Since Pocahontas is an environmentalist, this sad song will be good and I would imagine her...

This is my updated princess fan list. The biggest change is a swap-out/trade-placements of two princesses. These are my opinions. I will explain as I go.

1. Mulan
I’ll probably be a fan of her my whole life. She’s the most sacrificial character in the whole Disney Princess lineup, and I can’t help admiring her for overcoming her numerous flaws. Mulan is a convincing heroine, and her humaneness is something that I find missing in some of the Revival Era girls.

2. Ariel
She was my childhood favorite, but she doesn’t seem to diminish in my...

PART 2
link

Hello and welcome to part one of my COUNTDOWN FOR FAVORITE COUPLE BESIDES PRINCESS/PRINCE! Part one includes the couples that I think are just hated by most as some of them break up a lovely couple. The couples in this part don't have a lot of redeeming qualities to them. Take a look. Read and comment. Also, I thought it would be fun to make little "reaction photos" to go along with the photo of the couple.

THE LAST PLACE COUPLE IS. . .

33
JASMINE AND JAFAR
Jafar wanted power by any means. When his options were running out, he tried to get power another way. By marrying Jasmine. Not much...

So, with this topic on whether or not Elsa should be gay has been very popular over the internet, I felt it was time to tell you my opinion on this topic.

Before you get disgusted with me or anything, I have no problem with the LGBT community. In fact, my best friend is gay, and we often talk about boys and "ship" each other.

Now, there are a lot of reasons I think Disney should wait and make an original gay princess instead of making Elsa gay, I mean the main reason is I see Elsa as having no interest in romance- whether it's a male or female. I would much rather have a sequel centering around...

Who will play Belle?
Who will play Belle?
So, I have been hearing from many people over their disagreements about Emma Watson's casting as Belle. So, I thought that I would write this article about it if she wasn't cast at all, first no hard feelings to any Emma Watson fans out there (including myself) or to the actress herself. So here are my list of actresses.

1. Anne Hathaway

I first heard her sing in Les Miserables, she blew everybody away with her rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream', she's a marvelous singer in her own rights and I'm glad she's a talented actress!

2. Keira Knightley

I remember doing a poll regarding this 6 years ago...

Since it isn't so much left until Christmas I decided to write a few articles here on that theme, not sure how many I'll do, but here's the first one. You may not remember this song, but link in case you haven't heard the song. Anyway originally the song had the 6 first Disney Princesses singing the song, but I decided to redo the song a bit by adding 6 new princesses and their parts has new lyrics. I decided to exclude Merida, so the new parts will be dedicated to Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa. I'll write on each part which princess that has that part, anyway hope you'll...

What I will write will be similar to what I wrote on the last article. Most of my opinions are the same except for Aladdin. I wanted to write an updated article because I finally rewatched Aladdin. Please no rude comments. Enjoy!

12. Brave- I despise this movie I really don't like Merida. While she may be a strong I think she is just rude and annoying. The film is so forgettable. I haven't seen the film in about 4 years and I don't plan on seeing it again.

12. Frozen- As many of you know, like Brave I detest this movie. The characters are very irritating & the movie was trying way too hard...

Charm-the Real Feminine Mystique:
"A girl need not have perfect features nor an outstanding figure to be popular. But she should have charm. As Sir James Barrie had Maggie say in his play, What Every Woman Knows, 'If you have it, you don't need to have anything else; and if you don't have it, it doesn't much matter what else you have.'

Once you have acquired charm, you'll probably never lose it. Especially after you have discovered how much happier your life is because you are considered to be that charming girl down the street.

To be charming you need not to be any particular age, weight or height...

My Favorite: "When You Wish Upon A Star" Score into the Whistle as the Castle Builds Itself Magically, Ending with Walt's Signature Logo
Inspired by link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with favorite Openings. I actually really love the original fairy tale concept of the Disney Princesses and I love the openings that give a more magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope you guys enjoy this light read! :D

12. Frozen: Frozen Heart/Ice Opening
I personally found this to be uninteresting and irrelevant to the film's magic, fairy tale and princesses (mostly) in the film. No explanation...

Here's my quick top10 favorites of Disney Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune or lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I love become my all time favorites and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic music is. Anyways, this is my current list of top 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I move onto newer songs.

.... Or Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be more positive people. They cared more about well-roundedness, being modest...

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd favorite princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.

Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...

The saddest moments from DP movies that made me cry and most often they still do. Some are close to heart while some are so well enacted and animated that i'm moved by the simplicity of emotions.

13. 3 good fairies put the entire kingdom to sleep:
Despite their best of efforts, they lose Aurora to the spell and the only way to make things work is to put the entire kingdom to sleep, waking only when she awakens. It makes me sad to see them blame themselves for this loss. It doesn't make me cry though, but yes, it puts me in a sad mood.
