PART 5
It was still dark when Pocahontas woke up the next morning. She had to leave before John woke or he might suspect something. She didn’t have time to think about what he would think of her decision. She knew he wouldn’t like it, but she had to follow her heart.
“I was stupid for giving up John Smith,” she thought as she made her way through the forest. “He was the best thing that ever happened to me and I have to find him.”
Pocahontas didn’t know what would happened when she found him or if he even wanted to see her, but she knew she had to try. She searched in all the spots where she had been with John Smith. The waterfall, the giant tree, even Grandmother Willow, but she had little hope in finding him.
She wandered aimlessly through the forest, just praying that she would find him. She stopped to rest by a small pond. When she looked around she realized that it was where they had first kissed. He was in the back of her mind and no matter how much she tried to get rid of the thought of him, he would not leave.
“I shouldn’t be thinking about him,” she thought out loud. “It will just bring me pain when I learn that he is over me. He’s probably moved on by now. He probably loves another.”
Pocahontas sighed and closed her eyes to calm herself. Soon her lips began to move and she found herself singing to remind of John Smith.
“You think I'm an ignorant savage
And you've been so many places
I guess it must be so
But still I cannot see
If the savage one is me
How can there be so much that you don't know?
You don't know ...
You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name”
Her singing came to an end when she heard a noise behind her. This time she did not run. Out from behind the trees came a man. He stopped when he saw her and just stared at her. Her heart ran to him, but her legs remained still.
“Pocahontas?” He finally spoke.
He was hesitant to make the first move, but he walked to her until he was right in front of her. They stared into each other’s eyes. He reached his hand out and Pocahontas took hold of it. With their hands together again, Pocahontas felt whole once more.

11 users has voted in the poll: 'Will you add some songs for the Eurovision Songcontest Disney Princesses Theme?' Almost the half of the users has said 'no' the others has voted 'maybe'. want to change the part of adding songs in the contest and want to. do it with polls. The best three songs from each movie joins the contest. This is just an idea, maybe I'm just impatient. If there is enthousiasm and users add songs. I won't change it. But it's likely that, that won't happen. So I'm preparing now to the other way of selecting songs for the contest. I hope you will vote in the contest! It's my first contest on Fanpop!
It Should Have Been in the Film
I personally think that it should be in the film, it could be sung as duet between either for Hans & Anna, Kristoff & Anna or Anna & Elsa. But most likely latter, because it's like Anna is telling her sister to love again after years of being estranged.
It Should Not Be in the Film
Due to the time constraint of the film, I was partially glad that this song did not make it to the song. Wish it was anyway, it also gives the Lopez a chance to compose a new song despite that they did the Winnie the Pooh movie previously.
Love Can't Be Denied
So what are your thoughts about this song? To be or not to be, that is the question!
1) The Prince and the Pauper
I know that Disney had made this starring Mickey Mouse, if there was a Princess version of it. It would be a good idea, the story setting will set in either South Korea or Japan.
The story will be 100% faithful towards its original story by Mark Twain.
2) The Man in the Iron Mask
I love this story very much, since watching the 1998 version with Leonardo Di Caprio in it. They will base it on the 1998 version, with the exception that the evil twin redeems himself in the end. Making the first twin princesses to become 2 queens and will rule the country with love and peace, making them the 2 beloved Queens.
Conclusion
Since I only have 2 suggestions as listed, if there are anymore suggestions. Please feel free to add more in the comments.
This is my opinion only. But I believe the reasons that Evil Queen from Snow White and Lady Treamine from Cinderella mistreat the titular characters is different from the in-story explanation.
Evil Queen used the fact Snow was pretty as an excuse to get rid of an heir to the throne which I presumable that the Queen was ruling for Snow.
Lady Treamine's daughters might be older by a few months in the animated Disney movie. And back in those days older daughters were suppose to marry before younger ones.
I don't really have a reason for Edward's step-mother, Narcissa. But I assume that the Kingdom is suppose to be run mostly by a Queen?
