All these cool articles on here and I haven’t written one, so I just had to. I noticed that no one wrote an article about love stories and let’s face it, that’s one of the reasons why we love them. Because of their amazing love stories that we ourselves could never get unless we go to war, lose a shoe, trade our voices, play dead, or become a prisoner. Keep reading to see who made it to the #1 spot and check out the added bonus at the end. (Princess and the Frog not included)

9- MULAN’S LOVE STORY
Coming in dead last was Mulan’s love story. Personally it’s not my least favorite, but I can see how some people don’t like it. Those who commented felt it was unnecessary and did nothing to the movie. In fact the movie could have done just fine without it. This love story held little true romance and a lot of people couldn’t even see how they fell in love. Maybe they both happened to be desperate, who knows? If you watch the 2nd movie, there even seems to be times when it was awkward between them.

Ppgbelle4 said
The romance is thrown in literally at the last minute in the first movie, with Shang crushing on Mulan. I would've liked it if it was ended there, but no, they didn't. In the sequel, it begins with the two of them getting married. Honestly, it makes me ask: How the hell did the two of them fall in love? It's just very unsatisfying to me because you don't see the relationship slowly progress from friends to love. It moves WAY too fast.

Starrlightx3 said
I don't even really consider it a love story. It was like literally tacked on at the last minute and just wasn't convincing at all (to me).

Disneyfan500
I don't see much chemistry between them.

8- SNOW WHITE’S LOVE STORY
Next were Snow White and the prince. Not too many people understood how they could manage to fall in love; seeing as how they met one time before they got married (we assumed they got married). Of course this is the one princess that doesn’t have a sequel so no one knows where their relationship goes after the movie. This story as you have probably noticed is in a way similar to another story here. Does anyone find it weird that in this one, no one knew she was just in sleep? Everyone thought she was dead. “Hey Prince, why would you kiss a dead girl?”

CodyVenusTrent said
How can they fall in love? They met only once before she ate the apple.

callejahLUVSed said
They met once and after that one time, Prince is ready to kiss her when she's dead.. not exactly a romantic first kiss IMO :)

7- RAPUNZEL’S LOVE STORY
Now personally I don’t think I would have put them so low on the countdown, but Rapunzel and her man just didn’t get enough fans to go any higher on the countdown. This was a romance that fans thought was also unnecessary and not significant to the plot. Of course, they did have romantic moments, such as the dancing in town and the boat ride with the lanterns, but many felt that it was just too random and came out of no where. Would you have liked the movie any less, if it ended with Rapunzel and Flynn just staying close friends?

Ppgbelle4 said
I feel like the romance here is WAY too rushed. We see them as friends, yeah, but then they fall in love right out of the blue. Out of all of the couples here, they have to be the worst chemistry wise...it's just that Mulan's story is hardly a love story at all, and Rapunzel's is one (albeit a bad one) which is why Rapunzel is barely one notch higher.

Mongoose09 said
If they were close friends, it honestly wouldn't have made much difference to me.

6- CINDERELLA’S LOVE STORY
Maybe Cindy and her love interest would have made it father in the countdown if Charming actually went after her in the first movie, rather than made the grand duke do it. He’s honestly not a big part in the first movie, meaning we don’t see him a lot. He wasn’t seen much in the 2nd movie and it wasn’t until the 3rd movie that people really got to know his character better and see how Cindy and Charming really fell in love. While he seems to be a good husband, he doesn’t seem to be as good as the others. Although I do admit the 3rd had the best romance between them and I’m glad that they got a new love story.

Ppgbelle4 said
It's okay, but not the best.

CuteDiana
still love it though.

5- AURORA’S LOVE STORY
Just barely making it into the top five is Aurora and her lover! This romance can be compared to Snow White’s romance as it is almost similar however in this case the princess is with her man more and they actually share a conversation before marriage, a small conversation, but a conversation nonetheless. Their romance does however have a very romantic scene along with what I think is one of Disney’s most romantic song. Aurora dreaming of her prince, and then he is there ready to sweep her off her feet and wake her with true love’s first kiss. Good thing they didn’t have their first kiss in the woods, or she never would have woken up.

Mongoose09 said
They're one of my favourite couples (#2 infact) but their actual love story isn't as nice as the others.

DeamyGal said
I pretty much agree with everyone else! They do have one of the most romantic scenes ever though in my opinion; "Once Upon a Dream".

4- BELLE’S LOVE STORY
Now I honestly can’t imagine how Belle and her love didn’t manage to get #1, but this is a fan picked opinion article. However they did manage to make it pretty far in the countdown. Making it within the top 4 is quite an accomplishment. The first movie definitely had the best romance scenes with them, including the famous ballroom dance, their first kiss, and I even enjoy the scene where he saves her from the wolves. What girl wouldn’t be into a beast that can fight off a pack of wolves all by himself? What makes this love story more special than the others is that it teaches us, “Don’t be afraid to look inside someone, you just may like who you find”

kitkat604 said
Belle and Adams is boring there’s no humor at all not even a chuckle

Quite a few fans didn’t like the fact that this special love story was so low.

BelleAnastaia said
I can't believe Belle and the Beast is gone... It is like the best love story ever told.

Disneyfan500 said
I must say I am also suprised Beast and Belle are gone.

3- JASMINE’S LOVE STORY
I’m surprised that they surpassed # 4, but they do have a sweet story. Both felling trapped and imprisoned, they found more than just love in each other. They found freedom and a whole new world. Of course we all know the story. Jasmine assumed that Aladdin was just like every other prince and he had nothing for her. That carpet ride sure changed her mind though. They seem to have great chemistry and they are crazy about each other, but that doesn’t bring them any higher on the list, especially since they have what some fans call a typical love story.

Summerjoy11 said
Jasmine's story just seems so typical. Someone falling for someone thats not of their social status. Jasmine was a princess and Aladdin was a poor boy. Ive heard too many other stories that were almost like that.

2- ARIEL’S LOVE STORY
Out of the last two stories, I thought for sure that this one would make it to the top, however Ariel and the dreamy Prince Eric didn’t scream passion as #1 did. They do have one heck of an interesting love story though. It’s a common story. A forbidden love (because of King Triton). Both from totally different worlds. But this is no ordinary love story. There is a twist and it’s the fact that the lovely Ariel had a tail. She left her family, she risked her freedom, she risked everything just for love. It shows how determined she was to not only find true love, but to be with Prince Eric. There’s mystery to their story and a love that is so sincere and true. I love the moment when she got her voice back, and he ran to her, so determined to kiss her. They were both determined for each other. One of the things that makes this a great love story is the fact that he did not want to lose her, knowing the pain of losing her once already. Even when Ariel told him to leave, he was determined to stay with her, even if that meant risking death. What makes this love so sweet is that they both risked something for each other. She risked her freedom and he risked his life.

Ariel/Eric are one of my favorite Disney Couples.
I like them a lot for many reasons. First, they have great on-screen chemistry together. I like the way Ariel looks at Eric in a lovey-dovey way. I can tell that Eric loved her even when he wanted to be with the mystery girl. Second, they love each other despite thier cultural differences. When Ariel falls in love with Eric after seeing him on the ship, the moment is very deep. The merfolk viewed humans as barbarians who eat fish. They were forbidden to have contact with humans. But to Ariel, Eric is a handsome, bright young man. Other mermaids would think, "eww, a human!" Eric feels the same about Ariel. Grimsby and other servants (except Carlotta) were skeptical about Ariel being the one for Eric but Eric didn't let thier comments get to him. He still fell for Ariel's personality-even without her voice. When Ariel changed back into a mermaid in front of him, he still loved her. He didn't ditch her-no, he went out and saved her from Ursula. Additionally, the part when Eric said, "I lost her once, I'm not going to lose her again!" proves that he still loves her enough to save her from Ursula.

1- POCAHONTAS’S LOVE STORY
This one for sure demanded to be in the top four at least. Their story is a story of love, but not just for each other. It’s love for their people. When Cupid struck them with love and brought them together, it just didn’t bring them together. It brought two groups together. It stopped a war that could have had tragic deaths. Based on the first movie alone, it was almost like Romeo and Juliet, but with a somewhat happier ending. However their love quickly failed in the second movie and left us all disappointed and upset. Now we all know that the movie writers had to follow history, but you know what? FORGET HISTORY! Here’s a little trivia fact for you. The deleted song, “If I never knew you” was only deleted because it would have made their love for each other stronger and the writers could not do that if they were to break up in the second movie.

I love the idea of forbidden love, but in the sequel Poca falls for someone else ! huh so much for true love. The sequel just ruined it -__-

CodyVenusTrent said
I have to admit their love story in the first movie was great (forbidden love). However if you remember it got completely ruined in the sequel. So much for being "in love". HE LET HER GO WITHOUT A FIGHT!!! He was really stupid.

A SPECIAL BONUS FOR MY ARTICLE.
I asked the fans what love story they would they most like to have and I gave them the options of the top 4, so here are the top 3 love stories that fans would want to have.

3- Ariel's love story (Saving each other to find true love; creating a family)

opalrose said
i don't want to feel fear or trapped, and i also like being able to save someone and i would like to be saved

3- Pocahontas's love story (A love so strong that brings your worlds together)

bubbles4u22 said
Pocajohntas' love story always reminded me of Romeo and Juliet without the tragic ending and the idea of forbidden love has always intrigued me... :)

2- Jasmine's love story (Both feeling trapped inside; finding freedom and true love)

CuteDiana said
yeah i love to have something like that <3, or i could fight for him to know that he loves me too <3
i don't want to hate him at first, or to have a forbbdden love.

1- Belle's love story (Fear and discomfort turns into friendship and true love)

CodyVenusTrent said
I think I would like the story of Beast and Belle because it isn't love at first sight. They get to spend time to know each other and as we can see they also look for the happiness and safety of their loved one. (Beast letting her go although he knew he could stay as a beast forever; Belle going to rescue him from Gaston and the mob).

It not only a story about friendship but you get to see how they care about the one they love.
So, with this topic on whether or not Elsa should be gay has been very popular over the internet, I felt it was time to tell you my opinion on this topic.

Before you get disgusted with me or anything, I have no problem with the LGBT community. In fact, my best friend is gay, and we often talk about boys and "ship" each other.

Now, there are a lot of reasons I think Disney should wait and make an original gay princess instead of making Elsa gay, I mean the main reason is I see Elsa as having no interest in romance- whether it's a male or female. I would much rather have a sequel centering around...

Who will play Belle?
Who will play Belle?
So, I have been hearing from many people over their disagreements about Emma Watson's casting as Belle. So, I thought that I would write this article about it if she wasn't cast at all, first no hard feelings to any Emma Watson fans out there (including myself) or to the actress herself. So here are my list of actresses.

1. Anne Hathaway

I first heard her sing in Les Miserables, she blew everybody away with her rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream', she's a marvelous singer in her own rights and I'm glad she's a talented actress!

2. Keira Knightley

I remember doing a poll regarding this 6 years ago...

Since it isn't so much left until Christmas I decided to write a few articles here on that theme, not sure how many I'll do, but here's the first one. You may not remember this song, but link in case you haven't heard the song. Anyway originally the song had the 6 first Disney Princesses singing the song, but I decided to redo the song a bit by adding 6 new princesses and their parts has new lyrics. I decided to exclude Merida, so the new parts will be dedicated to Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa. I'll write on each part which princess that has that part, anyway hope you'll...

What I will write will be similar to what I wrote on the last article. Most of my opinions are the same except for Aladdin. I wanted to write an updated article because I finally rewatched Aladdin. Please no rude comments. Enjoy!

12. Brave- I despise this movie I really don't like Merida. While she may be a strong I think she is just rude and annoying. The film is so forgettable. I haven't seen the film in about 4 years and I don't plan on seeing it again.

12. Frozen- As many of you know, like Brave I detest this movie. The characters are very irritating & the movie was trying way too hard...

Charm-the Real Feminine Mystique:
"A girl need not have perfect features nor an outstanding figure to be popular. But she should have charm. As Sir James Barrie had Maggie say in his play, What Every Woman Knows, 'If you have it, you don't need to have anything else; and if you don't have it, it doesn't much matter what else you have.'

Once you have acquired charm, you'll probably never lose it. Especially after you have discovered how much happier your life is because you are considered to be that charming girl down the street.

To be charming you need not to be any particular age, weight or height...

Here's my quick top10 favorites of Disney Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune or lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I love become my all time favorites and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic music is. Anyways, this is my current list of top 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I move onto newer songs.

.... Or Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be more positive people. They cared more about well-roundedness, being modest...

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd favorite princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.

Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...

The saddest moments from DP movies that made me cry and most often they still do. Some are close to heart while some are so well enacted and animated that i'm moved by the simplicity of emotions.

13. 3 good fairies put the entire kingdom to sleep:
Despite their best of efforts, they lose Aurora to the spell and the only way to make things work is to put the entire kingdom to sleep, waking only when she awakens. It makes me sad to see them blame themselves for this loss. It doesn't make me cry though, but yes, it puts me in a sad mood.

Brave: The 2nd Sunrise
I may not be a big fan of Brave, but this scene is sad, when I first saw this movie in the cinemas I cried during this scene and I still find this scene to be quite sad

If any of you are familiar with character stylization or really art in general you might like this article. I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the author of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on. BASICALLY I'm going to "guess" what the princess' personality is like based on the way she's drawn, see what the general consensus is on her personality...

My Favourite Things from The Sound of Music

This song reminds me of the scene in the woods after she's been scared by the dark shadowed shapes of the trees. When she asks the animals what they would do and starts singing With a Smile and a Song. Well this be an alternative song or whilst she' singing she could be imagining her favourite things. I can also Snow White singing this. It does require a positive sounding vocal so it makes sense.

13. Merida

She's the only Disney Princess that I don't like at all, but I don't dislike her either, I feel neutral towards her. The main reason might sound weird, but it's mainly because I don't think she fits in the Disney Princess lineup, to be perfectly honest I would appreciate her character more if she wasn't an official Disney Princess. Besides that there's nothing wrong about her character except her temper, she's...
