He's too arrogant for her and that would irritate her. They want different things, with Scamp it was different because in a way they did want the same things, to feel like they belong just in a different way. Dodger just wants to live on the streets and steal for fun, he's not Angel's type AT ALL! He's too wild, uncontrolable, carefree, and arrogant for her. Do I even need to mention the age problem?

Um, Dodger only steals things because Fagin doesn't have money to get him anything, so he steals to survive. Dodger isn't really arrogant. He's shown to have a soft side to him and protects his friends when they need him.

As for the age thing, you really think that's so bad? I've seen people pair Mufasa and Kiara AS A COUPLE! Same thing with Frollo and Alice, who's just a little girl!

I don't aprove of that, it's just GROSS! I'm not saying that arrogant people are all bad and can't have a soft side. As for breeds...I see Dodger as a scruffy wirehaired Fox Terrier mix. Angel's more difficult, because we don't know how old she's supposed to be. She's been through a few homes already (which sometimes happens to dogs in a relatively brief time span) and is pretty smart, having already developed a philosophy about life...yet, she's still clearly very young. I can't imagine them having paired Scamp up with a girl too much older than he is. She has the general look of a spitz-type dog, which leads me to believe that she's at least part Shiba Inu...possibly even Akita. (I saw a photo of an Akita pup once that immediately reminded me of her, though it was probably younger than she'd be at the time of the movie's events. I'm sure that she's still going to grow, just like Scamp, but I dunno that she'll be a *large* dog. They tend to grow quickly, anyway.) The audio commentary for the film revealed that the artists were loosely basing her on a "Pomeranian-type dog," which is believable. I could buy Chihuahua or Papillon being involved in her makeup as well, because it would account for a smaller size, and enhance the size of her ears. ;)
